I come from the residential sales side of construction and the good guys I know are making $150-300k consistently without headache of running a business

I work for a remodeling company and we grew from $3 mil a year to $13 million a year in last 4 years during Covid. We opened 2 showrooms, an office space, 2 warehouses and hired some managers.

When we slowed down the last 6 months with new jobs and deposits coming in the overhead really started to put pressure on the business. Better to keep low overhead until absolutely needed.

If it’s not preventing the business from growing then it’s all just for show and ego
