Dumper!
Who's the arsehole that just dumped 500k shares? Perhaps I should ask who's the goof that bought them!
This has been a slow and painful death. Haven't heard a thing on the VAT Tax issue in a year. No operations and the lawyers will probably eat up our VAT refund if it ever happens. SO - guess it's another LOSER! Hard to believe that it went from sponsoring a professional soccer team & arena to $0.0002.
amen to that Generic! A penny a share would be a HUGE move.
Can anyone shed any light on the current situation? It's been months if not years since anything of value was posted (at least valued from a positive perspective). I've been riding this dead horse for so long that I wish someone would just put a bullet in it and end the misery.
very interesting reading TPB. Seems there is more upside potential with this latest event than further bad news. The courts move so slow - and $2B is a LOT for the HRMC to just give up without a huge fight. Come on TCLL !
Keep the faith KING! And remember - it's the journey that counts, not the conclusion. Put this on your bucket list and I will meet you at Buckingham Palace 30 days after we get the payout.
I will happily make the trip to England to share a pint if this dog gets off the floor and does anything positive. I thought the US Courts were slow - the High Court is amazingly slow. And consider the $ in question. TCLL has $70M, and there are much larger claims than theirs.
As a matter of fact - if I ever see a return on this stock, I think I will have a Pint in every pub in England. Might take a while..... but I'll give it my best shot.
Does anybody have any updates on the progress of the VAT appeals that were to occur in March and April? Some good news would be great news for this stock!
Let's Celebrate TCLL Up Volume Day!!!!
It has to be coming. The courts in England make the US courts look speedy and efficient, but eventually the Crown will loose the VAT debate. And then there is a divy payday that will make us some $. It is predicted that we will see movement this month.
We need info on this board. Please keep up the Internet search of legal news!
Neal
and $30 later, we're back to where we started......
Who's wasting their money on this? Wish they would post and give us their wisdom
Nice move up on the ask from a meesly 20k purchase. Let's hope this is the 1st in a long run of volume and price improvement~!
Need news!
tcll
OK Y'all - it's the latter part of March, and no new news to post. Anyone have any updates out there concerning the VAT Appeals?
somebody snagged another 250k shares. Good. The more volume, the more likely it's going to pop up on the posting services, and then we can see some apprecation. And March is right around the corner. With positive court news - and I fully expect a positive outcome - we should see a $.01 or better short-term.
well - feel free to jump in with me. So far- all the volume is in my account.
it's either good money after bad, or more bad money. Cheaper than Vegas I guess. Would be nice to get some people onboard with me though.......
well - decided to put my feet back in the water on this one. Still a gamble, but a better one than it's been in 4 years. We'll see if my order get's filled today. Bid/Ask is moving around, probably because of the size of my order.....
Good luck, y'all. Enter at your own risk!
AMEN Brother! I've averaged down for 4 years.
I find the entire process rather interesting. The Brit's never had a right to the VAT. They withheld it and forced the traders to sue them. Then, drew it out for ever. How would you like your government to act in that manner (perhaps they do?). The gross VAT is a pimple on the elephants arse relative to the entire economic challenge and the level of debt across the developed world.
King - sorry for the long delay. I went into TCLL hybernation due to the lack of any substantive info of any type.
I believe that Purcell left the London market and is with another company. I will see if I can find him again. Germany sticks in my mind.
Be careful - based on yesterday's volume, news and action, lightning may be about to strike.
I posted this comment in September of 2007. My calculation is still reasonable, but is dependent on 3 things: 1) legal fees don't affect the recovery of the VAT (HMRC has to pay for our defense); 2) they distribute the VAT; and 3) they don't attempt to start back up.

If they receive their VAT refunds and distribute to shareholders - then it's worth $.233. Granted -this may take up to 3 years to realize - but with no operations there should be very limited expenses, no debt, and some potential to realize a recovery of what currently looks to be a worthless investment.
Or perhaps I'm just trying to justify my ownership?
Good luck. Haven't been able to contact any of the officers of the company in a VERY long time. Company discontinued operations while they attempted to satisfactorily sue the HRMC for non-payment of the VAT refunds. Case has been ongoing for 3 years +/-. Most that have been resolved have been successful. Whether there is $ from the refunds depends on how much $ the lawyers charge. Last time I did the math - the $ from the suit would provide about $.05/share. Whether they resume operations is unknown. I've held out hoping for a dividend of the judgment. Do a google on Neil Purcell in the London area.
do the math on that trade - big $$$ for sure
COME ON MOMO - TCLL has good volume and has seen excellent action in the last week. Could easily achieve 500% IMO in the short term.
GM
Yesterday everyone took the day off. Time to go back to WORK!
.0005? Damn, that's cold. Hope you're wrong and more players come into the fold. I've been sitting on this for so long that I don't even want to think about the high cost of some of the shares. Brought my average down a ton for sure.
There really may someday be life in this POS.
And if we can get some of the MM's to spend some $ and keep the volume up, more will notice. Bring in the volume@@@@@@!!!!!
the J in JKing must stand for Jenerous>?
maybe they'll do what we have been ready to do for years - wallpaper their lav with 'em?
looks like all the MOOMOO's bailed out. Volume back to low, no action, no stacked up bids..... typical.
Bring 'em back. If the crown loses the case as they are most often, there will be real business volume and a real operating entity to trade with.
bring yer friends Doogy - that's how to get this moving. it's not fundamentals - it's opportunity IMO
wish you luck. I've tried email, snailmail, phone to the CEO, CFO for more than 2 year. Never reached anyone that could shed a light on the HRMC case or trading volume or anything else
What's the date on this news article TPB? This could be big news - that the HRMC is losing cases and required to pay out big interest checks. The payout was work $.05 a share to TCLL. If they settle, pay interest and do it quickly, then we could have a big winner here!
buy in DFLY - there's 100% to the day's high.
Looks like 1 shot wonders. The sub-penny pumpers had fun for the day when most are out enjoying the long weekend. Oh well - it was fun to watch for a little while.
Pumpers - bring more friends next time so that it gets a bigger pop before y'all bail on it.
agreed! Hope they bring their friends and everybody gets a pop out of this!
Juries out on it. Could be a missile that drops harmlessly into the ocean. Can't find any news to support the spike. But WHAT THE HELL - ride the wave

then BRING IT ON. This thing makes it to a $.01 - the % is huge. If they get the HRMC to kick them the VAT - it's worth $.05 if they distribute the proceeds. No guarantee of that - but HRMCs losing many of the cases. TCLL has a reasonable case for reimbursement. Love to see them get pain and suffering too - it's been 3 friggin years.
HKF - where are you? I'm used to seeing you on this post. Need to see some of the long-termers rather than just new names.
need more players jumpin on this one. Bid volume dropping.
I'm ready DD! Nice to see something happening. Haven't been able to reach anyone at the company on the tele or via email (no surprise). I've been holding this beast forever.
Must be news out there somewhere - because volume and price just shot up a ton. Anybody got a clue?
