It wasn't a brokerage firm. Some little IR firm. If they actually took the order, it would be called a boiler room.
I was cold-called on this one repeatedly and was told all sorts of lies about it. That's never a good sign.
IMO, this stock is a complete scam. Buyer beware.
No, I certainly wouldn't want you to miss out on this once in a lifetime opportunity. I mean, how often do you get the chance to buy a stock that is already up 1,800%, has a market cap of $600 million despite having only one employee. Has virtually no business, no tangible assets other than money raised in a private placement, has been written up very negatively by the gold standard in the otc world, Dow Jones' Carol Remond, has been lampooned by Forbes Informer, is being promoted by a cabal that has run several stocks into the ground, is being pumped on this board by people who also pumped those same stocks, etc.
But, of course, all of that is besides the point. The stock is going UP!!! What else do you need to know? Super strong buy!!! We all know that things that go parabolic and have no connection to reality keep going up forever and ever. This is too exciting. I mean, THINK ABOUT IT. Insurance!!! Viatical settlements!!! Are you kidding me? THIS is sexy. Oil, gold, the internet, b2b, cancer, even China--those are the minor leagues. Just THINK ABOUT IT!!! Everybody dies. One per customer. Every trader in America is gonna want a piece of this story. Wow, I'm hyperventilating, I'm getting so excited.
But somehow, when this falls apart, everyone will magically be on the sidelines. Funny how that works.
I am a value investor.
Btw, I love all the bullish talk on this board. Buy, buy, buy. Seriously.
Mr. RSPG questioning my credibility. That's rich. The nice thing about message boards is that the posting history is there for all to see. You've posted on RSPG and MXFD. You said you were buying 20,000 shares when the price was ~1.50 so that makes you down more than 90%.
I've issued warnings on about 25 stocks over the last two years. Eight are down at least 95% since I warned on them including:
EVCC, PLRO, QEGY, VOYT, BROG, TNEN, BZCN, and EVCC.
In addition, four are down at least 99% since I warned on them including:
CFUL, RCTY, NXGH (GHLT).
SGCR, SCEY, FXPE, SOEN, NNRI, OCTL, BNVI, RMDX and RVNG are all down much move than 50% as well.
A pretty amazing track record, no? Once you've seen hundreds of scams, they become pretty easy to spot. MXFD is as bad as any I've come across.
So congrats on your illgotten paper gains in MXFD. I wouldn't make plans to spend them.
Looks like the promoters decided to start the weekend early. Not to worry, I've been recording all the manipulative activity.
Just for the sake of argument, what if a certain 3-letter agency (which has the power to pierce the ARCA veil, btw) took a look all the shenanigans here and decided to halt the stock. Where would it re-open? How would that make you feel?
If you're long, TRLN is offering you a very graceful exit.
Even after today's drop, this stock is up almost 1,700% and the market cap is close to $600 million.
Remember what they say about pigs...
Hey meathead, you better keep buying. Can you feel the weight?
ROFL. I think you just did.
You have to excuse Adam's enthusiasm. He's just ecstatic to be out of the meat packing plant.
Here's a list of the stocks I warned about in the last year or so. I don't claim to have sold at the high or covered at the bottom but with declines like these, you don't need to.
Symbol High Current %Decline
QEGY 4.21 0.151 96.41%
CFUL 4.9 0.043 99.12%
RVNG 1.805 0.675 62.60%
RMDX 4.24 1.95 54.01%
FXPE 3.56 1.16 67.42%
OCTL 5.39 1.28 76.25%
BNVI 6.8 1.3 80.88%
SGCR 1.17 0.1 91.45%
VOYT 1.93 0.125 93.52%
RCTY 156.33 0.39 99.75%
BROG 2.15 0.09 95.81%
NXGH 472 0.02 100.00%
PLRO 5.83 0.35 94.00%
EVCC 7.74 0.22 97.16%
(NXGH was GHLT)
MXFD is right up there with QEGY, CFUL, and GHLT in terms of scuminess.
You may scalp it for a buck or two but you're taking a lot of risk. Junk like this can collapse at any time. Especially with parabolic moves like this. The risk/reward here is horrible.
The market cap is over $500 million again. That will not last long one way or another.
I was all over CFUL at $4 last year. It's 4c now. I have the highest confidence that MXFD will follow a similar trajectory.
Let me get this straight. You're ridiculing Peter because he posted lots of negative things about bad stocks that subsequently went down. Uh, I think you outta be giving him credit for some very prescient calls. Unlike, say, your public buy of Royal Scam, errr, Spring.
Btw, can I still take a tour of that amazing, state-of-the-art plant? I'd like to see the boiler room.
News today. Did anyone besides the scumbags hiding behind ARCA buy any stock? I doubt it. This story is so boring and tired. There will NEVER be any retail interest.
So in other words, you're not a pumper, just the penny stock world's most reliable contrary indicator.
Looks like you nearly top-ticked MXFD with all you boasting. Uncanny.
Sure, whatever you say, hot shot. With those stock picking skills, you have a lot of credibility.
RSPG, RRPH, CVDT, RCTY, RVNG, CYLC, GHLT, SLJB, EERG, CSHD, GZGT, URCO, SOBM, PSEG, etc etc.
Any questions?
I expect some coverage soon. Hey Itamar, you available for some questions?
Yet another poster who posts exclusively on MXFD and RSPG. Speaking of RSPG, how's that one doing for you? You flogged it for months and then suddenly disappeared. At least that one actually has a business.
Now they're getting greedy. You just don't see moves this parabolic or market caps this large. Inevitably, it will attract the attention of journalists, maybe even regulators.
It's only paper wealth until you sell.
Yeah, back and forth.
well it sure dont look like a pump job now does it?? lol. Funds trading it.
A sleepy otc stock doesn't trade 1-3 million shares a day.
Interesting how this stock does 1 to 3 million shares of volume a day ($4 to $12 million of value) yet there is no activity on any message boards.
Initiating a short here.
FWIW, I've covered my short for now at a small profit but I may revisit. Good luck, folks.
You make some good points. For every NTP, there is a SCO, and they had good lawyers too. There is nothing certain about patent trolling.
You still haven't addressed my point about the "pointing device and digital keyboard". I'll do some further reading on it but I remain unconvinced that all predictive text roads pass through Wordlogic. I, for one, have no interest in entering text with a digital keyboard using a pointing device. And Wordlogic's keyboards have been around and hardly set the world on fire.
There is something very suspicious about the company's recent stock sales. You don't see many Reg S deals these days. Here's some reading:
http://www.rgm.com/articles/nypost2.html
Also, have a look at all the form 4's. The activity is highly irregular.
You're basically saying Wordlogic owns the entire predictive text market. I guess that will be news to all the other companies who have patents in this area. I could be wrong but I disagree about the scope. My understanding is that Wordlogic's patent is related to entering predictive text using a pointing device coupled with a digital keyboard. I've seen predictive text products like blackberry's suretype and I do not think they infringe on Wordlogic's patent. (Research in Motion cleared up the patent situation on suretype with another company years ago, btw)
But even if it did infringe, Wordlogic would face a massive, multi-year legal challenge and we all know what lawyers cost today. And the market isn't anywhere close to one billion units. That's patently ridiculous.
I have no interest in going long. I have a small short position that I may add to as I look into the story in greater depth.
I'd have to disagree with those who claim that the company can earn a royalty on a billion units. I don't know of any devices currently on the market that infringe on the patent as I read it. Who uses a pointing device to enter text using predictive logic? Wordlogic has a new system for entering text imo--it may even be a great system--but the world is doing just fine so far without it. Couple that with the incredibly rich valuation, huge run-up, and cheap stock and I think this one will tumble.
You forget that they bought these shares from the company. My question is, with a patent issue imminent, why would the company sell stock with warrants attached at a big discount to the share price with such great news pending?
JMO but I don't think those foreign investors are all that foreign.
It means that foreign investors got millions of shares of stock and are sitting on a 1,000%++ profit in 2-3 months. Their shares are exempt from registration and can hit the market at any time.
So I disagree with your assertion that insiders own "basically 99%" of the stock. Methinks the float is about to get a lot bigger.
Do you find it odd that the stock price took off right after this cheap stock offering?
Think again...
"Beginning August 10, 2007 and ending September 27, 2007, we sold 3,273,297 shares of our common stock at a prices ranging from $0.30 to $0.65 per share for a total of $1,191,189 in proceeds. Each of the shares sold includes a warrant. Each Warrant entitles the Subscriber to purchase one additional common share of the Company for a period of 24 months from the date of issuance, at a prices ranging from $0.50 to $1.00 per share."
MXFD staring into the abyss. Big $$$ coming.
RSPG, MXFD, RSPG, MXFD. You guys are great. MXFD is the next RSPG. lol
It ain't a profit until you sell. Enjoy your paper millions.
This is getting funny. Going up 10c at a time now on 500 shares. How about a pr to keep us entertained? You really think you're fooling ANYBODY?
Oh, ok. Of course, the rest of your post is obviously about MXFD. RSPG is nowhere near 250 million in market cap.
When MXFD drops, there will be no bid support and it will be extremely difficult to sell. I think that makes it way too risky to hold long but what do I know, I've only nailed CFUL, RVNG, CSHD, QEGY, TNEN, HYPF, PLRO, EVCC etc in this forum.
Remember look at their filing they have no cash,no clients no revenue and last i saw is 120k in cash now how come they are getting a market cap of almost 250 million?
This is insane i would short every share i can.
Your post on Friday:
"Bought 4k today and i will keep buying all the way up to 20."
Your post today:
"This is insane i would short every share i can."
Call me crazy but these two statements just look a little contradictory to me.
