You're basically saying Wordlogic owns the entire predictive text market. I guess that will be news to all the other companies who have patents in this area. I could be wrong but I disagree about the scope. My understanding is that Wordlogic's patent is related to entering predictive text using a pointing device coupled with a digital keyboard. I've seen predictive text products like blackberry's suretype and I do not think they infringe on Wordlogic's patent. (Research in Motion cleared up the patent situation on suretype with another company years ago, btw)

But even if it did infringe, Wordlogic would face a massive, multi-year legal challenge and we all know what lawyers cost today. And the market isn't anywhere close to one billion units. That's patently ridiculous. wink
