Jobs speech moved the markets:
http://finviz.com/futures_charts.ashx?t=ES&p=m5
johnson and johnson rhymes in a way.
they have good reason to be bullish as long as gold is above 1500 for a few years and oil stays at 150 200 along the way.
gold short profits... shift cycle to miners... even if gold corrects and fils gaps at 162 or 150... miners will sell lots this year and oil hasn't been crazy.
one chart below is from yesterday and shows upside down head and shoulders breakout, and one is from today, second one shows long term how rsi isn't even close to speculative levels... also shows deterioration of a potential head and shoudlers:
hesse, you still in or out of aria? lookin booshy but watch for head and shoulders threat... most of the rest of the marked is clawing its way out of a head and shoulders, aria only has one shoulder, a head and what may or may not be a next shoulder or a breakout...watching for volume of 4 million at these prices to get excited... nicely timed with MACRO picture... call it the Operation Torque
[OT] Operation Torque...thanks for these reports.
GDXJ: retest of wedge breakout? edit: add upsidedown head and shoulders:

Are they saying hedge funds are at record short levels? is it posible they are all record short in the goldman indexes that just came out or are they the ones frontrunning?
I think gap closure at 162 or whatever will be sufficient... seasonal strength alone will support a horizontal consolidation 150-185. miners are the place to be putting your gold short profit.
thanks guys for the premelt discussion. keep those small ema's behind us.
Not a bad day! Market looks healthy!
Cool, I wasn't ready... Glad someone was.... Watch gap on compq
Awesome
right now it looks like it wants to reach for a double top
Well, TED knows who JB is too because I have already nominated JB to be a speaker with this form:

monday was critical... not just for aria but most of the market... the whole market is backtesting the neckline break of the head and shoulders, from below, and in it's haste it gapped up on "survived the hurricane" momo... market looks much worse today than it did on friday... unless it gets some rediculous volume soon.
GDXJ should break out this soon.
check out cramer's call in this link post.. reposted chart of "rectangle and falling wedge"... breakout and retest patience...upsidedown head and shoulders.

Gold is retesting the breakout of a multi year trendline... 1620 in the next few days would close the gap on the weekly GLD chart and would retest the 3 year old trendline...

OK... I should be interested in medical devices but I guess I am too adicted to biotech and gold... I was travelling all weekend... and last 10 minuts my mouse is acting up so I cant' draw a chart now.
I looked at this three year weekly chart and connect three of the four lows to make a trendline... it is hanging on for dear life to make a higher high because it broke a head and shoulders to get down here...neckline was 62ish. like the rest of the market....... this chart looks exactly like the market. on 6 months.
look at vol by price too in this chart... volume at this selloff made a big impression on the chart and this level at $50 should be huge support.
Keep me up to date, thanks.

Wed expressed my opinion of a near top by selling 4 1oz gold coins on wed... so yeah, I think that's toppy but I am a gold bug at heart. I don't think gold market can get bad ...that flag I drew on gold could resolve in 2 months and that would be with a retest of 1650... then off to the races.
I have as much invested in GDXJ as I have in physical gold left-worth of miners... not including TLR, a big losing position on KATX and I think at least 46188 shares of PCFG that is averaged in so that position is down only $212 as I type.... could have sold but didn't... not quite ready... miners are going to explode... i drew up gdx charts because gdx went out to three years and gdxj only goes out 1.8years... gdx has a broad channel to break out of, gdxj has a bearish falling wedge, which if it breaks the diagonal resistance it goes up monster.
I hope they do #2 the right way and build it " modular" so three pieces can be shipped and bolted together on site.
