Anybody else get a mailed publication (pump and dump??) on this stock the last couple of days? Wonder if thats why the runup today.....
Billiam: 2 questions. I too have some gifted TLKE shares , some are restricted, some not. Any ideas how to sell any of them? Also, do you think the DVFI shares will convert to TLKE? I haven't followed DVFI or their related CO's for a while. Thanks..
joebari - is this thing alive or not? Thanks - Ken
hammer: Did see that. So, why didn't they send out their mailing when the price was around .66 instead of 1.20ish? I am not saying that they part of a P/D, but thats how P/D's work....
firebag: Thanks for your private reply. Curious of your thoughts on GNXP, and VSYM, actually invested a few bucks in both, but not sure I should have.....
hammer1:
Fair enough. Don't mean to challenge what your saying, but I always wonder why stock recommendations come in the mail, is it a P/D, do they want me to subscribe to their service, etc., especially when the stock is in the pinks. I have gotten burned a couple of times. I will watch this one, along with their recommendations, and see how it works out. glta
firebag1: Have always said "you might get me once, but never twice". After the sad DVFI experience, I have avoided pinkies for the most part, and LEARNED that if I do throw some money at them, keep the expense to $500.00 or win or lose. Hopefully, you can find another stratagy that works before you go broke..lol
hammer1: support in what way?
hammer1: Could be, but after you have gotten burned on a paid mailer that was only a pump and dump, you get cautious and learn not to believe everything you read..........
firebag1: Only lost 1/3 of what you did, but not happy about that either. Don't know for sure what happened to eats, but think he wrote it off his taxes a few years ago. I guess you put DVFI in the "live and learn" department, but wish I could have "learned" without spending 10K for the lesson....
Hammer1: Follow what moves?????
toucan: seems like we chatted on another Ihub board a few years ago, don't remember what one. Anyway, got a Elete Stock Report in the mail (out of the blue) pumping this stock. I have gotten wary of mailings in the world of pinkie stock pump and dumps, what can you tell me about this one? Thanks
harr449: I have read the PR's, but learned a long time ago not to believe everything I read.....
petermic: Thanks, I got WAY to involved financially a few years ago with a couple of similar scams, am still trying to recover financially. So, when you get a hand written addressed envelope with no return address, you get a little wary. Will be content to watch on the sidelines for a few months, thanks again...
Ken
Got that same mailing that some of the others got. So, from some of you that have been in this stock for a while - is this just another penny stock pump and dump, or does this stock have real upside potential? Thanks....
So what is this stock, another pump and dump, or does it have some real growth potential?
Billiam:
Can't even do that! Fideliy won't let you trade a stock that there is no trading price for. The trading price for DVFI shows .0000, so their system won't take a GTC order....
FYI: A couple of years ago, I added Larry to my yahoo IM "friends list". I have tried to contact him several times thru that forum, he never answers. But, I see him online many hours a day, talking to who is a mystery...
Billiam: How do we sell this POS so I will have some "built in losses" for my upcoming 2010 tax year?
popcorn: do you or anyone on this board for that matter, have a clue where DVFI fits into this POCO picture, assuming it does?
jerle: thats only the vote to accept the senate version of the bill, another vote to accept has to follow...
apophis: Got a few million I could part with at .20 pps, want to buy them? If so I'll even cover the brokerage charges, let me know ...
rxgator: I think you are completely wrong, could be wrong, and willing to admit to it if so. What evidence do you have to feel this way?
tkcomputer: Ran into this post and had to respond. The only relation to DVFI that I can see is there must be enough room in the bottom of the toilet to hold the current pps numbers for both .......cheers
silver - "crooks ,all crooks, all belong in jail" - as many times you have pointed out this out WHY IN THE WORLD haven't you mounted an effort to either bring them into court, or get them in jail, instead of just whining about it ?
Joe: For what its worth, I still get emails from Arch, and in one just today, he named someone else as that major shareholder. And, contrary to what some (most?) post on this board, there is major work going on behind the scenes, to the point Arch is encouraged, will leave it at that .....
miner: Saw that same email too, wondered who Dave was, thanks for the clarificaton. Got to feel a little bit of optimism -just because we know there are folks in the office and the lights are on instead of a dark office and not knowing when Lancaster/Wadkins slipped out the back door ......
xgin: Since Larry's answering your emails (as opposed to mine), ask him if Dallian's done yet, and when we can expect to see the EQBM pps climb based on revenues....TIA
billiam:
Well summerized! And, if I can add this, the anger from various posters on this board should be focused to the folks you named, NOT whomever takes the reins NOW in their attempt to salvage the wreck. I know at one point in an email from Arch, he had links to both TX, NV SEC offices, as they wanted to hear from shareholders (whom had gotten screwed) regarding the people you mentioned in order to consider bringing criminal charges against them, which should be done. I did the link to TX, and within 5 minutes got a call from someone within the SEC office directing on how to download the appropriate form to fill out. Sadly, I got busy and didn't do it, but will look thru old emails to see if I can still find the reference email. Will post it if I can find it.
From talks with Ed, the books/paperwork mess left by them will take months to sort out, the revenue stream is small, so it will be an uphill struggle to salvage anything, and will be hard - if it can even be done. This has to be done if we can ever be back in the pinks again. In light of this, I would hope that whomever replaces Ed and Stephen will be given a little space to try by the IHUB posters, without jumping to conclusions that they are the same "birds of a feather" as the crooks you mentioned and therefore posting that way.
apophis:
--Why does it take these fools so long to get the simplest things done -- Would you mind sharing with us your business background as to allow you to make this statement with such authority?
ribucan:
I to have my doubts if this ship can be righted. I to wonder why it takes to long to get things done. But this I know, Ed and Stephen walked into an office that Lancaster and Co. had abandoned, without notifying any of us. In order to get back into the pinks, the books need to be in order, and considering the mess they were in, I can appreciate it will take months to get them in shape. Now, since they are moving on, we are back waiting for who will take the reins again, and what direction they want to go.
So where does that leave us - there are 2 directions as I see it. Sell, and write off the loss at the end of the year, move on, chalk it off to a bad learning experience. The second is wait it out, hope that there is a good reason for the silence and delay (say an attorney not letting PR's get out for whatever reason). As for me, I have been involved with this thing since '04, so waiting another few months doesn't really bother me. Do I wish I had never bought it, or sold it when I could have - you bet. But I got myself into this thing, so I will have to make the decision regarding the above choices of when to get out.
apophis: 2 things:
1) Glad you made a phone call today, I haven't had time to do that for a few days now. And, I think as long as your calls are curtious you will get a sense of what/where they are trying to go....
2) Assuming there was a meeting going on, at least the lights are on, and folks are working on something. That gives us some hope that this ship may right itself somehow yet...
tkcomputer: Am on of those free guys, so have to reply publicly. Regarding your question, I have no clue...
ricuban: Agree with you about what a board should do. And, I am not sure if you should consider Ed or Stephen as members of the board, employess, or what. My reason for that post was to relay that the books were in a total mess when they come on the scene (and may still be for all I know), and part of cleaning them was in order to get DVFI back in the pinks. One of those tasks was to try to see who had how much stock, in the case of Lancaster, Wadkins and Co. how much do they have, and how did they get it, and that was(is?) a hard trail to follow.
IW: I agree. Would suggest that to management if we were not in transition again ...
Apophis: Ed told me some while ago that the books were a total mess when they got them. And one of the problems they wore trying to sort out was how many shares had been issued to Lancaster/Wadkins, and were they legit to do so. For example, if Lancaster/Wadkins were issued shares in exchange for money they had given toward company expenses, that would be appropriate, but if they just printed more shares for the heck of it, thay was not. So, thats one of the things Ec and Stephen were working on was to go backward up to several years trying to match up receipts, invoices, etc. to try to figure out was was legit or not, and I can appreciate that is a time consuming task. Then on top of that, were those shares restricted, if so, for how long. When we talked about this, he was not aware that there were any requests to unrestrict their shares, but my conversation with him was a month or 2 ago. It was their (Ed and Stephen) to cancel all shares not issued for legit reasons, once those could be identified in light of the above...
eats: No not be a hoot - would be my worse nightmare !!!
Hang in there, and have a good weekend !!!
Apophis:
The company has cast these doubts on thier own - I think you have to split the word company into 2 eras - the days of Lancaster, Wadkins, and Ed, Stephen. Infact you can go one step further - whomever replaces them. Regarding the items you raised, I am thinking you need to think of more.
1) lack of execution - Don't think you have a clue what they are working on, some of us do by virtue of actually talking to them.
2) keeping share holders in the dark - Not really, communication was good via phone and email.
3) non disclosure of assets and income - Same as the above.
4) projects stopped or sold off before completion - Would suggest you direct that to Lancaster and Wadkins not the present management, can agree with you there.
5) share count expanded 400% in 18 months - Expansion occured on Lancaster and Wadkins' watch.
5) stock price down 99% - Should be directed to Lancaster and Wadkins, pps was in the tank before present management came along.
Apophis: And were did you get this tidbit of information? Haven't heard anything about this from either Ed, or those that chat with the company on a regular basis. Could have dropped thru the cracks I guess, so please reveal your source so it can be either confirmed as true or is it just speculation....
Satori-now: And what PROOF do you have that they lied, as opposed to them making a "best guess" PR date, only to be foiled by either an attorney, or the deal not completed ? Be careful to be on solid ground before accusing somebody of lying...
