UCOI stretching for a run. Hop on!!!
I don't know if this means anything but by my count there were 5,712,510 shares purchased today and 4,219,735 shares sold. And my count if off by 9,000. Yet we still dropped.
Anybody know what this indicates? My limited knowledge of such things leads me to think that the price should have ended up higher based on simple market forces. I realize there is massive manipulation going on I just want a better understanding of the mechanics behind it.
Seems to me like someone is accumulating big time. Maybe we're getting ready for a pump or maybe this is just the shorts covering.
Thoughts anyone?
Amazing how they are dropping this pps on $100 trades while someone is scooping up cheap shares at $1000 - $2000 at a time. LOL
Someone knows something.
She's waaay oversold now. Good time to jump in.
This is looking like last Friday's action. Pre-lunchtime gobbling of shares for a post-lunchtime explosion.
Looking for a veteran's take on AXGJ.
I'm looking for 0.06 short term....but then I'm an idiot much of the time.
Is the day after Thanksgiving a full trading day?
I've been playing the pinks about as long as you. I've won some. I've lost some (Yup, I lost on SLJB). Everyone has their own strategies but the simplest and best is - all profit is good.
You can't waste your time beating yourself up over what could have been if you had stayed in a little longer, or gotten out sooner. Fifteen percent up is better than thirty percent down. We all want 2-10 baggers. Do they happen? Yes, but not as often as I'd like.
Take what you can. Be happy with it and move on to the next play. If you can let free shares ride on this one I'd say do it. Asking others on the board when they are gonna sell is a bit personal, like asking a man what he's gonna do for fun with his wife tonight. Don't put them into the position of having to lie to you. You know if they're married they ain't doing anything tonight with their wife.
But I digress. They've all got their strategies and the experienced longs know when to sell and re-buy to accumulate more from the inexperienced.

EQBM nickle bound today after the morning skinny dip.
EQBM!!
Sheeeeesh. Gooood Mornin'!
You can't KNOW who the good guys and bad guys are. You know nothing about the people who post here other than what you read here. Sift through these posts for nuggets of truth - they're in here. Folks will be upbeat when the price is climbing and bumbed when the price drops but the truth will shine through all of these ups and downs.
You are staring at a great opportunity. I'm a novice like yourself. I've only been trading since January of this year. I've been lucky (PTSC and FRPT) and not so lucky (too many to list but XKEM and PAIM come to mind as the tears well up in my eyes). I imagine I'll still be learning this game a year from now. So if you want to learn, crack open some books. Take some chances. Know when you plan on selling. Greed is a powerful emotion and when you are watching that stock price climb it is easy to fall under it's spell. Next thing you know you are chasing it down to $o.ooo1. Any profit is good. I repeat - any profit is good.
IMHO (and newbie opinion) you have a great opportunity here with SLJB to AT LEAST triple your money in the next month. I'm no wizard though, none of us are. At some point it comes down to what are you willing to lose, how long can you wait, and how much profit does it take to make you happy. +10% sure beats the Hell out of -40%.

STTC
Thar she blows!
Thanks smoke.
I signed up for the 30 day trial. We'll see how it goes.
Newbie Question
Are there any stock screener programs or websites you guys use to detect stocks that open with an upward gap.
Seems like by the time anyone posts lately that "XXXX stock is on fire" the damn thing has already climbed 200% and the ride is over.
Just lookin' for a short cut, not a crystal ball.
Thanks
Whatever you do, don't get suckered into the promises of five baggers and ten baggers. Those multi-baggers turn into avalaches in the time it takes for you to take a pee.
10-20% gain every couple days beats the snot out of any mutual fund out there and it always beats a loss.
This board is great for picking out stocks with momentum. Ride the wave for a bit and get out.
GLTY
A little shake here and we should see the 0.20's...then 0.30's.
Uh-oh
MM stands for market maker. When you buy a stock you are buying from an MM who is selling. When you sell a stock you are selling to an MM who is buying. When people refer to Level 2, or L2, they are talking about a tool they use to observe the MM's and what their positions are. For free L2 on PAIM go to
http://www.pinksheets.com/quote/quote.jsp?symbol=paim
You probably don't know what the four-letter codes of each MM stands for so use this

You have a lot to learn so good luck to you. Consider paper-trading until you feel like you know what you're doing or just do like me and plunge in with real money and lose a few $K before learning some powerful lessons. Nothing teaches like real pain I always say.

(That means Good Luck to You)
Shakerzzz just pumped it a couple of hours ago...maybe less.
I don't know about you guys/gals, but I'm ready to hear how Priestly's trip to Belize went. He was supposed to have returned this past weekend.
Who talks like that anymore?
I'm a total SOB and I don't talk like that.
Anyway, before this board breaks down into a name-calling fest can we all discuss what happened here today and what we can expect tomorrow? That is, after all, why I am here, to learn from you vets.
Newbie, y'know.
This site is a great place to start:

and if you wanna plunk down the $100, I've heard great things about this:

GLTY, I'm in the same boat.
Sorta makes you want to punch something, don't it?
Gary Witt.
Consider it done.
Thanks, Kapone.
The device has not yet been invented that can accurately measure what an asset Kapone is to this board. Thanks, Kapone.
OT: I gotta say I'm impressed with the chartists here. Can any of you recommend a short course (1 week or so) that teaches this stuff and isn't outrageously expensive or a total ripoff? I'm more of a hands on learner. I've got pleanty of books on the subject of TA but they're hard to get through with kids and lovely wife constantly competing for attention. Besides, I wouldn't mind gettin' out of the Phoenix area this summer either.
Go XKEM!...(and CHDT).
According to Pinksheets.com the OS is 5,820,004 due to a 3000:1 reverse split on 2/14/06.

I thought I'd share this email correspondence I had with who I assume is the IR person for BLDV, wish I had a name though. I hope this means good news soon:
ME:
Subject: Former Ambassador Philip Priestley
Date: July 14, 2006 1:44:47 AM MST
To: rgasich@gmail.com
I was wondering if you can share with me, an investor in Blue Diamond Ventures, some of the projects the former Ambassador will be working on in Belize. I see that he was well connected and heavily involved in small business development during his tenure as High Commisioner for the UK in Belize.
Also, is the Libertad Sugar Factory out of the question now or are you still in negotiations in aquiring this facility?
I thank you for your time and care in answering these questions.

Thanks for your email.
The company BLDV and Phillip are in Belize meeting with officials out there. They will be back on Saturday and I will have a full update as to what is transpiring out there. Once a definitive agreement is reached the company will immediately issue a press release to update shareholders.
Have a great weekend.
Amb. Priestly was everywhere...back in 2003
http://www.fco.gov.uk/Files/kfile/04NEW.pdf
Hope the man still has the connections he had then. It seems he was heavily involved in small business development through government agencies and some private firms like Deloitte & Touche according to this issue of 'Britain in Belize.'
From the June 23, 2006 PR
Ambassador Priestly:
"He also secured major funding for projects and obtained debt relief for Belize."
I like the sound of this. Any DD on what those projects were?
Great DD RyanA. I've been waiting for days for that information in the form of a reply from Bhuwan Pandey and got squat. I know the average income for a Nigerian is around $1,200 but don't they have a sizable, poor, rural population? The urban folk and those employed in the Oil sector could probably afford this easy.
BTW, txprincess is right. On one hand the cheerleaders for XKEM trip all over themselves to point out what a legit company it is but for some reason can't stand to hear that some of their performance leaves much to be desired. We stepped up to the plate when we put our money into this company, they can do the same, and not report news days after the rest of the world knows. There is no excuse for that.
News will come though and the pps will rebound, I have no doubt. Lots of eyes still watching.
YIKES!
Quite the following that Green Baron has, eh.
LOL
