Yeah, I sure miss the mama llamas and the emaciated boy miners and the coochi-coochi girls.
I hope the share price continues to go up so that Mart can make some money.
Take care.

Hey Trinity,
Luckily, there will be other candidates who won't have to be addressed Mr./Mrs. Caitlyn.
As I said, only in California.
Incidentally, Apple is building a new campus in North Carolina to the tune of a billion dollars. The company already has a new campus in Austin. I think it's part and parcel of their drive to get the hell out of California. It costs too damn much to live here. To a great extent that's why we have more people living in poverty than any other state! My home in the boondocks is less than 1,300 square feet. It appraises at $410,000, and my sister's home that is close to Los Angeles is valued at $605,000 for 1,400 square feet. It's nuts!
Trueheart
Slo, long time no see. Hope you've been well.
I popped in here after seeing the huge jump in share price.
Trueheart
I sure wish I could put a "like" on your comment.

My local Fox outlet just reported that the effort to recall Guv Newsom has been successful and qualifies for the ballot.
Caitlyn Jenner is among the candidates who want to replace the guv.
Only in California.
Trueheart
Hey, Sorta,
Its great to "see" you in the halls.
Yeppers, I forgot the hydro project among others.
Hope all is well with you.

Hey, buddy, pal, friend, amici, former co-member of the Marines, ol' chap, amigo, comrade --- I just happened to read that a Michigander won $2 million from a scratch-off lottery ticket.
That wouldn't be generous you, would it?

From The Hill: Michael Lindell has filed a $1.6 billion countersuit against Dominion Voting Systems, claiming that Dominion's suit is "debasing the legal system."
Dominion issued a statement that the lawsuit "is meritless," as one would expect.

They've never done anything but talk and hype and promise.
Lithium is the new buzzword but for this company it ranged from silver to gold to Cerro Rico to Pulacayo to tin sales to hydraulics to oil and gas to airlines to gold sales to gold dredging to something at Tierra del Fuego, etc.
As I said, I'm rooting that you'll all take the share price up to the point that Mart can sell.
Trueheart
Mart, the activity among the posters may drive the price up to the point that you, at last, can sell and get out of Dodge.
I'm rooting for you.
I spent ten years here waiting for their "projects" ranging from gold mining to an airline to oil and gas to be real.
Good luck!

The s--tbird at CNN surely revealed the outlet's intentions.
However, a Technical Director is not "right below" the director. The TD is on the technical staff along with cameramen, lighting and sound.
The TD controls the switcher at the director's commands and typically sits next to the director. He cuts from camera to camera and to other video sources and takes the show in and out.
The stupid man inflated his position.

Hola Janice,
I don't think I will try tuna in the can. If I did I'm sure I would feel guilty and I'd probably have to lay it out in the confessional.
I didn't know that tuna was available in olive oil. Out here in Calliforny we are given a choice of water or vegetable oil.
I buy only solid pack albacore tuna. The other stuff appears to be a mishmash of guts and fins.

Hola EZ,
The Hill (the online newspaper) reports that approx 40% of Marines have refused to take the COVID vaccine.
I hope they'll be around to say they're former Marines.

I'm hip, Janice!
Thanks for sharing the photos of the near-food that has come about from the drag of pandemic-driven insulation and isolation.
Laziness is the common unlisted ingredient in all the concoctions but, on the preparers' behalf, there is the satisfaction of eating things that satisfy the senses and tummies. Isn't that what we want in our meals?
As a single man who hates doing dishes, I like the mayo in the tuna can, which I have not tried but am tempted to do so. There's no clean up except for the spoon the can be licked clean.

Unbelievable. Incredulous. Fantastic.
CNN has chewed on two administration officials, one of which is Buttegieg, for "misstating" the number of jobs that will be created by Biden's $1.9 trillion jobs plan will be 19,000,000.
A research company called Moody's Analytics estimated that between the fourth quarter of 2021 and the fourth quarter of 2030, 19,000,000 million jobs would be created. The boys seized on the number, saying that's the number plan would create.
The truth of the matter is that Moody's actually said they estimated the number of jobs created would be the 19,000,000 but about 3,000,000 of that number could be attributed to the plan.
From CNN.
Wonder of wonders. Imagine that.

He said he hired a handyman. He gave him a list of things to do and left for the day. When he got home he discovered that the man had done only items 1, 3 and 5. He asked why he didn't do them all and the handyman replied he did only odd jobs.

Thanks for the response, K2.
The last time I posted about the lawsuits I identified the sources. I was remiss this time.
The sources are the NYT, WSJ, LATimes, CNN, Forbes, Business Insider, the Washington Post and the Denver Post. I compare the reporting and take the facts, trying to leave out any journalistic bias. I attempt to do do factual reporting with interest.
As to news skewing, I dropped the home delivery of the Los Angeles Times because of their biased reporting. The front page is features, the inside pages are op-ed and the op-ed page is one-way.
Thanks again for making a great comment.

The latest and greatest on the Dominion Voting Systems lawsuits.
Dominion sued Fox for $1.6 billion.
The court has yet to respond to Powell's request to have the lawsuit dismissed on the grounds that no "reasonable people" would have believed her claims that Dominion conspired to steal the election for Biden.
Giuliani has stated on numerous occasions that free speech protected his claims that Dominion's machines were at the center of the alleged election fraud scheme. In early March he asked for a 35 day extension to respond to the lawsuit saying that he wasn't trying to hide from the lawsuit and that his attorney needed the time to get the okay to practice in the jurisdiction. The motion was unopposed by Dominion. He has until approximately April 10 to formally respond.
Lindell has extended his claims that he has real info on Dominion as to how they pulled off the alleged fraud. One would think that if he really had the hot info on Dominion, Powell and Giuliani and Fox would be clamoring to get their hands on it. We shall see what he has. Lindell also chewed on Fox for not allowing him to air his latest claims.

Thank you.

Thanks for getting back to me, K2,
As I understand, the voting machines in the various jurisdictions are not tied in any way to Dominion during their operation. The voting machines cannot be manipulated by Dominion once they are in the hands of voting officials.
I, too, hope that Lindell does not go the way of Powell (and to a certain extent Giuliani) and back away from his own charges against Dominion. Lindell's defense team will demand access to the voting machines and during the discovery phase we should know the result of their investigation, how the software actually operated.
Take care,
Trueheart
Hi K2,
Sidney Powell's defense team team is attempting to have the $1.9 billion lawsuit dismissed. As you're aware, she made claims and allegations that Dominion Voting Systems was involved in a massive nationwide conspiracy to throw the election to Biden by rigging their voting machines. As of today, no proof has arisen that shows Dominion's software changed the outcome of the election.
If there was a conspiracy by the Dems and Dominion, the plan would have surfaced in some manner by now either by emails, texts, phone calls, letters or by disgruntled employees from the DNC or Dominion. The DNC has proven that it can't hold its own water. The exchange between Pillory and Brazelle in which they plotted to deny Bernie became public.
Powell knows there is no evidence that would expose Dominion so she and her team have crafted a defense that bypasses the issue and lays it on the voters who believed her claims. By saying "sensible people," she implies that rational thinkers should have known that she was simply creating theater, that her claims were not to be believed as factual. She even cites the lawsuit in her defense and also says that her claims were free speech.
It's apparent that Powell and Giuliani have rejected Lindel's claims that he has the goods on Dominion as their defense because they have steered clear of trying to back their claims of fraud since the lawsuits were filed.
Giuliani probably will attempt to get out of the suit by claiming free speech as his defense. As to Lindel, he continues to say that he has the evidence on Dominion and is happy to have been sued so that he can expose Dominion to the public. However, if he has the damaging information, I think Powell and Giuliani would have used it.
The question arises, if indeed there was no nationwide conspiracy between the Dems and Dominion to throw the election to Biden, are the seven million votes that Biden garnered over Mr. Trump legitimate?
All in my opinion.
Trueheart
Trinity, Powell is using the "reasonable people" strategy in her attempt to have the Dominion lawsuit dismissed.
The suit is not being tried at this time.
Trueheart
Sidney Powell's defense against the $1.3 billion Dominion Voting System lawsuit is that "reasonable people" would not have believed her various claims that Dominion was involved in committing massive fraud in the 2020 presidential election, and that her claims were not based on fact (distilled from the WSJ, NYT, Vox).
Rudy Giuliani's apparent defense will be free speech.
Mike Lindell is still chewing on Dominion, claiming he has proof of election fraud.

Hi MG and all,
Thanks for getting back to me. I appreciate your candidness.
The ingredients for your meal are simple and appealing. Home cooking (road) is the way to go.
The price of copper has dropped from the recent peak, possibly the result of traders abandoning the metal. For the long term I think copper is a natural for an increase in price as national electrification programs imply increased demand of the metal. But as a geezer my long term may be tomorrow.
Aluminum is used for high voltage long distance transmission of electricity but its use in homes can cause fires.
Enjoy your day.

Hi K2,
Unfortunately, the NYT puzzle can't be printed without a subscription. I get mine online via a regional newspaper that prints the news factually.
Like the NYT, the LAT crossword puzzle can't be printed without paying for it. I prefer online. I do the Universal puzzle when I need a crossword fix.
I relish the taste of home grown veggies. There's a fruit stand a few miles away that sells locally grown produce but it's pricy.
We used to get tree limb-snapping snow but over the 30 years I've lived in my burg the snow has become a dusting. It gets cold without much white stuff.

Good day MG and all,
What are your thoughts on copper mining companies continuing their run?
As you know, the administration wants to drop fossil fuels over a given number of years. The changeover from heating homes with gas to electricity will take enormous amounts of copper to run lines and to upgrade homes, hundreds of millions of which have woefully low amperage capacities.
I think that heating houses with electricity under a national program is folly and will cost more than the country can afford (also upgrade insulation, roofs, windows, etc.) but my opinion doesn't matter.
Anywaze, whaddaya think?
