Incidentally, Apple is building a new campus in North Carolina to the tune of a billion dollars. The company already has a new campus in Austin. I think it's part and parcel of their drive to get the hell out of California. It costs too damn much to live here. To a great extent that's why we have more people living in poverty than any other state! My home in the boondocks is less than 1,300 square feet. It appraises at $410,000, and my sister's home that is close to Los Angeles is valued at $605,000 for 1,400 square feet. It's nuts!
