Subject: Important concerns
I am a new shareholder and have some major concerns that I hope that you can clear up.
1) Is your product FDA approved? I can find no proof of it on the FDA site.
2) Has all the liabilities from the past shell been settled?
Fraud Judgment Awarded Against Evolution Fuels/Blue Wireless & Data/CEO
Steven Benavides and Greg Martin today announced the awarding of a judgment against Evolution Fuels, Blue Wireless and Data, now known as Big Star Media, Dennis G McLaughlin III individually, and other co-defendants for statutory fraud in the 44th District Court of Dallas County. The amount of the judgment, with penalties and interest, is over $1.6 million and relates to the purchase of wireless internet service provider Panaband Wireless in March, 2005.
Dallas, TX (PRWEB) August 2, 2010
Steven Benavides and Greg Martin, today announced the awarding of a judgment against Evolution Fuels, Inc., Blue Wireless and Data, now known as Big Star Media, Dennis G. McLaughlin III individually, and other co-defendants for statutory fraud in the 44th District Court of Dallas County. The amount of the judgment, with penalties and interest, is over $1.6 million and relates to the purchase of wireless internet service provider Panaband Wireless in March, 2005.
The initial petition was filing in February, 2006; Case Number DC-06-01509-B
“It has been a long road to this point and we are happy that the courts have awarded this judgment against Mr. McLaughlin and his various companies,†noted Mr. Benavides. “While the various entities controlled by Mr. McLaughlin have gone through many changes since the original sale, we have continued to pursue what is rightfully ours for the company we built and sold. We will continue to exhaust all efforts to collect on this judgment against all parties.â€
Over the past several months, Martin and Benavides campaigned zealously to resolve the issue amicably. However, their efforts have yielded little success and continuous misinformation and roadblocks from Mr. McLaughlin. “We continue to read about current and future projects Mr. McLaughlin and his companies are pursuing,†said Mr. Martin. “We wish him success in those endeavors, but we remain committed to our collection efforts and need to seea commitment from Mr. McLaughlin as well.â€
The Agreed Judgment filed in Dallas County, Case Number DC-06-01509-B found that "Plantiffs are entitled to recover damages, jointly and severally as a consequence of Defendents fraud practiced upon Plaintiffs, which fraud the court hereby finds by clear and convincing evidence"
The interest and penalties will continue to accrue during this collection process. Mr. Benavides and Mr. Martin are optimistic that this matter will soon be resolved.

3)Should I assume all these violations were taken care of??

Your response to these important queries is greatly appreciated.

Company's response:
Jim,
Thanks for your interest in Pharmstar, and thanks for the questions. I will answer them for you in the order in which they are asked.
1. Yes. Aquaprin meets full FDA approval. Specifically, it meets the current FDA Analgesics Monograph, appearing in the "permitted combinations" section of the Federal Register. Also in the USP under the "Effervescent Aspirin" monograph. We will provide some links on our website so that people can easily find the link.
2.Pharmstar Pharmaceuticals did not purchase the assets or the liabilities of the previous company. Instead, that company still exists, as a private company. Pharmstar completely disassociated with them, including requesting and receiving a new Tax ID number. The old tax ID number went with the previous company.
Even though we have no interest in Big Star Media, we are familiar with the Press Release that you forwarded, as it obviously came up during Due Diligence. Please note the following link, where the press release was retracted. http://www.prweb.com/releases/2010/08/prweb4386344.htm . Again, this has nothing to do with Pharmstar Pharmaceuticals, but it does address your question.
3. Concerning the warning letters from 1997. This was Howard's first attempt at stabilizing Aquaprin, and yes, there were some headaches (pardon the pun) in doing so. The product did not continuously meet the stabilizing requirements ,and there were some things that created problems not related to the business. Howard pulled the product and began working on another stabilization, which resulted in the patent that is pending now....and also meets the stabilization requirements to now earn the FDA approval. A lot has changed in 14 years.
If you have any more questions, comments or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact us.

BERNI....That's the way I read it.
Rain....200/1 reverse split
I believe that the "magic number" is 20,001. With a 200 - 1 reverse split every 20,000 shares pre split will convrt to 100 shares post split. Purchasing 201 shares now will only give the buyer 100 shares post split.
If one purchases 20,001 presplit, post split will convert to 200 shares (20,000 pre split divided by 200 = 100 shares and 100 shares for the 1 share odd lot).
GREAT DD - Many thanks to you, Rain for finding this one. Remember, the new CEO has 52% of this and he is not about to do something stupid that will hurt his investment. Lots of folks are going to be adding 20,001 shares at 10 - 15 cents as the second 100 is a gift, but they need to purchase 20,000 to get the first 100...GLTY...Merry Christmas....Jim
BenK...."I don't think that the fellow whose opinions you're challenging is a basher, paid or not. He has been posting on the Yahoo thread for many months, under the same alias, and expressing the very same ideas. So his thoughts, whether you or I agree with them or not, preceded the uptick in price per share."
Ben, thanks for the update and I'll recognize his authentic complaints and opinions as not associated with a negative bias. As I had stated in the post,
"You have been a slave to this stock too long and the possibility of success does not compute. If this is so, I am truly sorry and have much empathy for you and all the long term longs."
I don't agree with his analysis on a few items, but realize that we both have the same desire to see the stock and company succeed. I stand corrected ....ATB...Jim
Threw...."my thinking that when you have a technology that no one has, that everyone needs the world will be a path to your door. My guess is there will be MANY multinational Cos. vying for this technolgy..Chances are there will be a bidding war to get it...."
This is my totally "naive" viewpoint and one that seems to elude our alleged long term long. I don't have problems with real and honest critiques of the company, but when a new poster comes aboard when the stock is going up and does nothing but question every conceivable future occurence in a very negative way, you have to question the motives of said poster.
There are a few longs who have voiced genuine complaints about the company and I totally understand and welcome the input. 17 Yr is a good example of a long with an honset critique of the company and has my full attention. Nuff said....Jim
whatisvalue..."What is there to negotiate? Are you kidding? Don't be naive."
The stronger the competitive field, the more difficult the negotiations. My major point was that if they indeed have a product/process capable of elimination of HAI's between 4-5 logs, there is virtually no competition and , as such, no real negotiation challenge. The real challenge will be in a non competitive environment to keep manufacturing out of back log. We will have the only rat trap in a rat infested industry. Think it'll take a high paid CEO to negotiate this deal? Hardly! Doesn't take more than a dolt to figure out this no brainer!
Yes, what is to "negotiate" is a whole lot easier when you are holding the nuts. If on the other hand you do not believe that they will have a competitive advantage in product, your statements are true. Me, I'll continue to believe that this process will be successful and that a total lack of competition will enable negotiations to be a non-issue.
The real issue here is if the company has a product/process that is head and shoulders above any remote competition. If so, your analysis is all wet. You have been a slave to this stock too long and the possibility of success does not compute.
If this is so, I am truly sorry and have much empathy for you and all the long term longs. If, on the other hand, you are paid for the position that you espouse, go blow it out your exhaust pipe. With all respect,....Jim
Whatisvalue,,,,,It appears as though you have not viewed the stockholder's meeting video or you have viewed it and opted to reject some of mgt's business plan.
Ed Marshall has stated that he doesn't believe that the company needs to expand much from its present size. They will most likely remain an R&d concern choosing to partner with large international concerns that own many hospitals. The company would sell the machines to the partner who then would be solely responsible for dissemination of the equipment, training, and utilization.
The key to this plan working is in the efficacy of the process. If the third level of testing and the beta test confirms the present level of confidence in the Ozone process, a contract will be signed with a hospital partner and a small number of machines (50-100) will be sold to them for operational use. When all are satisfied that the machine/process has been refined, a larger scale manufacturing and partnering agreements can be made.
This is a very manageable plan that will be driven by the successful results of the process. Since the company reverts into an order taker after the contract is signed, I don't see any need for a high powered, highly paid CEO. Just what is there to negotiate? The price of the machines will be established by the company and, with no competition, pricing becomes solely a company driven determination.
Ed has put together a team and a simple but compelling business plan that will be a success. I have invested in this company with that in mind. If and when this company needs more managerial talent, I have every confidence that Ed will find it just as he has done for the technical and medical elements of this business.
Bet on the Yankees!
homey....You are trading with me...LOL
Threw...."you dont have to be the smartest guy in the world to make money, you have to surround yourself with people smarter than you and you dont have to have all the answers, you just have to know where to go to find them"
Right on the money, my friend. I made millions over a long career in business with that same concept: "A great leader is one who has the ability to attract excellent talent and the good sense to stay out of their way." It appears to me that Ed is such a man and has been doing just that.....All the best...Jim
BenK...."What not everyone here may realize is that Dr. Dick Zoutman, who led the study that the article refers to, is the very same person who is leading Medizone's test trials!"
That is one heck of a tid bit! Thanks for that input. This "story" is beginning to take on real proportions for me. Just like yourself and threw, I am having a very difficult time trying to get my arms around the scope of MZEI's future potential. I am all "ga ga" over another biotech stock that has real promise. The situation here dwarfs that by many logs.
That said, with a successful beta test, I believe that the company will be quickly valued at around a billion dollars market cap. If anyone is having trouble with the pps calculation just take a billion and divide it by the outstanding stock. If you are somewhere around $4, you did good in your computations.
This PPS calculation is by no means a goal or end figure. It is merely a launching point before we get sales figures. The sky is truly the limit on this bugger!...GLTA...Jim
go...."* Currently, 271 people a day - the equivalent of one airline crash - will die from healthcare-associated infection
(HAIs) such as Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) infections- "
This is a staggering figure and just blows my mind. I cannot even begin to fathom what the demand for this product will be aftewr the beta test confirms effficacy.....You go, Go...Jim
threw....."BUY yourself if they'll sell..if ya dont, I'll rue the day the crow chokes ya"....You beat me to the punch. I am debating whether to put these two pissants on ignore, but the sheer stupidity of their posts is rare entertainment as we wait for MZEI to make further progress....All the best...Jim
phrantic...."The other big factor one must consider is exposure to contagions related to economic woes. In that light it's plain to see that MZEI has developed economic immunity."
I believe this could be a big plus in this very top heavy DOW environment. Most technical traders and fundamentalists are calling for a severe market downturn. As most all stocks would be effected by a market plunge, special situation stocks like this will be least effected and may even be in the category of the few that really shine. I am betting on it....Jim
gofor....Yes, we should tell all of our healthcare contacts. This is a very needed technology right now!
Significant feedback from a hospital CEO........
I sent the Medizone movie to a retired CEO who had worked for 3 major N.E. hospitals in his career. He was very impressed with what he viewed. He is going to be a stockholder. Nuff said!
This only confirms my opinion that this company is on the road to greatness and will make a significant contribution in lowering hospital acquired inferctions.
The astounding factor is that this very large world-wide problem is only the first of many more critical areas that can be addressed by this technology. Partnering with large multi-national concerns for the disemination and use of the equipment will take this stock to heights that I am presently afraid to even fathom. I think that a quick pop to new all time highs (in excess of 80 cents) is a momentary reality. The ultimate future for the pps is beyond my present ability to comprehend.....GLTA...Jim
Go...I'd lick almost anything for a few hundred thousand more shares of MZEI. Best of luck....Jim
gofor....GM.....That's the longest tongue that I have ever seen. Always love your wildlife selections....Jim
homey....I am certain that SRSR will be a big winner, but it may take a bit longer than this one. No comparisons are valid - apples and oranges here.
MZEI is on the verge of popping after a very long process. The general market may tank and would no doubt cause this to flinch, but only temporarily. The needed technology in the healthcare field will bring this stock thru any bad market. I like the odds here as we all buy stocks to make money. Just a big plus when you can make a bunch of money and also know that a large contribution to the healthcare field will result.
gofor.....I don't think that you will need to wait until 2011 to see 3 bucks in this one. Revenue and big back log of orders in 2010 will create havac in the pps - in a very good way!
homey....Good choice in wanting more MZEI. This will be a large winner. ....Jim
PS Your Buckeyes were pretty rough on my gophers last Saturday - LOL
go....The bashers just indicate a running stock and great momo. The first real tipoff is that they are first time posters like these last two ding a lings. Of course they are both long time shareholdrs and just now - when the stock is taking off - are going to warn the longs - most of whom have been around for ten + years.
Why haven't these two goof balls warned of their ominous findings before and why haven't they posted what the heck the negatiuves are? Answer is obvious - nuff said and let's have a good day ...GM...jim
silicon....you were the one that was out bidding me there....Good going and welcome to the party. Do you think this stock is as pretty as our other lady?....Jim
Threw....I can attest to the length of time getting filled. 5-10 minutes was a norm and longer in some cases. I worked real hard to get about half of what i am looking to accumulate. To say that the market is thin is an understatement. What is going to happen when we get some serious volume here? Can anyone say a dollar by November....All the best...Jim
threw....Not buying anymore right now. Making some adjustments in my other holdings.
I would guess that filling at the ask should be no problem. Although I didn't get filled there on the close Friday.
Go...right! The bigger picture is what is motivating me. Whether i pay 7 -8 or 10 cents won't matter in a few months when the pps is much higher....Jim
Threw....Thin as heck. Won't take a lot of buyers to move this.
Go...Yes, got a bunch at .073 and working on more....Jim
gofor....You can give me a check for being here and buying shares...LOL
gofor....You can give me a check for being here and buying shares...LOL
homey....I was waiting for you to come around. Great opportunity here. Just about ready to break out. Good luck to you on Monday as well!....Jim
Norton....Just another lucky break thanks to GoforTheBet. Good seeing you here!
BenK....Thanks for your astutue contact to the source - Dr. Shannon. The resistance to ozone factor certainly isn't a major concern here as voiced by a medical authority. Congrats on your long and trying wait on this stock.
Most of us on this board are new to this stock, but we do recognize a great situation when it presents itself. Looks like your reward in a higher pps is imminent.....Jim
Threw...Good work! You're way ahead of me.
Threw....Here is a good lead for MZEI's revolutionary sterilization procedure. Think that Edwin should contact this dude!
http://blog.heritage.org/2009/10/06/in-the-green-room-david-goldhill-on-how-american-health-care-killed-his-father/
Threw....Quite impressive! Looks like the results coming from beta testing could be the match that seends this rocket up. I like buying this below a dime for a ride to new highs!...Jim
Trading volume
With the exception when this stock ran in 2000 to 80 cents with a high of 20 million shares traded and many days in the 5-10 million range, looks like it has never done much better than a 1.5 million day - 400,000 share day is big now.
Appears as though a lot of the old investors from 2000 are gone and this is a fairly unknown stock. What a great situation - to be able to get in now before the rush that will certainly be on this stock in the coming weeks. Unique situation...Jim
Threw...I am still trying to figure out the trading here. I suspect that this one is way off anyone's radar. This may be like catching SRSR at .0008.
How big is the stockholder base? What is the percentage owned by officers/directors?....Jim
NORTON...I couldn't pass this one up. I thought that my portfolio was set, but an op like this is just too much to ignore. Good to have you here also!....Jim
