Military Whistleblowers To Challenge Jan. 6 Claims
https://truthpress.com/news/military-whistleblowers-to-challenge-jan-6-claims/
D.C. National Guard members who have never talked publicly are set to challenge claims about what happened on Jan. 6, 2021.
The members are going to testify on April 17 that narratives contained in an official report on Jan. 6 “are false,” Rep. Barry Loudermilk (R-Ga.) told The Epoch Times.
Brig. Gen. Aaron Dean, the D.C. National Guard’s adjutant general, and Capt. Timothy Nick, a top aide to the D.C. National Guard’s commanding general, will be speaking for the first time in public about the events that unfolded on Jan. 6.
D.C. National Guard Command Sgt. Michael Brooks, a senior officer with the Guard until he retired in 2022, and Col. Earl Matthews, a lawyer who was with Commanding General William Walker throughout the day, are also scheduled to testify to the House of Representatives Administration Committee’s Subcommittee on Oversight in the public hearing on Wednesday.
Command Sgt. Brooks has only offered brief comments on Jan. 6. Col. Matthews co-authored a previously-released memorandum with Major Gen. Walker, who is now retired, that challenged claims in an official report on Jan. 6 from the Department of Defense’s Office of Inspector General (DOD IG).
“We have several whistleblowers that have come forward and said a lot of what’s in that DOD IG report is false. It’s fabricated,” Mr. Loudermilk told The Epoch Times.
That includes purported calls in the 3 and 4 o’clock hours from Army Secretary Ryan McCarthy and Brig. Gen. Christopher LaNeve, an Army official who worked closely with Mr. McCarthy, to Major Gen. Walker. The calls have been described as authorizing the mobilization of Guard personnel and deployment of the personnel to the Capitol grounds.
“These witnesses say those phone calls were never made,” Mr. Loudermilk said.
“We stand by our January 6th Report and have no further comment at this time,” a DOD IG spokesperson told The Epoch Times via email.
The Pentagon referred a request for comment to the Guard, which did not respond.
Both Col. Matthews and Major Gen. Walker have denied that Major Gen. Walker was called by Mr. McCarthy or Brig. Gen. LaNeve during the timeframe.
A D.C. Guard timeline supports their position. It says that acting Defense Secretary Christopher Miller directed Major Gen. Walker at 3:11 p.m. to mobilize the Guard but that deployment orders did not come until 5:08 p.m., and that the orders were conveyed from Mr. Miller through Gen. James McConville, according to the timeline.
Other parts of the military, though, have said the calls took place.
An Army timeline says Mr. McCarthy called Major Gen. Walker at 2:47 p.m. and ordered the mobilization of Guard personnel. It says some of the personnel were deployed under orders from Mr. McCarthy at 5 p.m.
A Department of Defense timeline says Mr. McCarthy at 3 p.m. directed Major Gen. Walker to prepare Guard personnel for deployment and that the personnel deployed at 5:02 p.m.
The DOD IG report says Mr. McCarthy called Major Gen. Walker at 3:05 p.m. to mobilize Guard personnel. It says Brig. Gen. LaNeve called Major Gen. Walker at 4:25 p.m. and told him to prepare to move to the Capitol. Mr. McCarthy called Major Gen. Walker about 10 minutes later and told him to deploy personnel. The calls were attributed to the officials and notes from an aide to Mr. McCarthy.
Mr. McCarthy has said that the deployment order was conveyed through Brig. Gen. LaNeve as he was nearby. Brig. Gen. LaNeve told the now-disbanded House Jan. 6 committee that he did not convey a deployment order to Major Gen. Walker but that he heard Mr. McCarthy convey such an order on a call around 4:35 p.m. Mr. McCarthy has said that he did not speak to Major Gen. Walker during that timeframe.
Major Gen. Walker has said that the purported calls at 3:05 p.m., 4:35 p.m., and 4:35 p.m. did not take place. He said the deployment order was conveyed by Mr. McConville.
The deployment finally happened after repeated requests from Steven Sund, the chief of the U.S. Capitol Police. It took more than an hour for Mr. Sund to receive approval from the Capitol Police Board to make the requests. After that, he contacted military officials around 2 p.m. asking for assistance.
The delay in deployment, even after Mr. Miller authorized it, came in part because officials wanted to develop a plan before deploying the personnel, Mr. McCarthy told the Jan. 6 panel.
Optics?
The personnel testifying on Wednesday are also planning to corroborate allegations that top military officials said they were concerned about the optics of sending Guard personnel to the Capitol.
“We have witnesses saying they personally heard that several times, and others had heard it as well,” Mr. Loudermilk said. “That their concern was more optics than it was just defending the Capitol.”
In a conference call at 2:30 p.m., according to the memo from Major Gen. Walker and Col. Matthews, Army officials Lt. Gen. Walter Piatt and Gen. Charles Flynn described the optics of having uniformed military personnel at the Capitol as “not good.”
They instead suggested Guardsmen relieve Washington officers of traffic duty, enabling those officers to go to the Capitol.
“I don’t like the visual of the National Guard standing a line with the Capitol in the background. I would much rather relieve USCP officers from other posts so they can handle the protestors,” Lt. Gen. Piatt said on the call, according to Major Gen. Walker, Col. Matthews, and Mr. Sund.
Lt. Gen. Piatt has told lawmakers that he did not recall using the words optics, visuals, or image during the call or any other conversations on Jan. 6. He later told reporters that, according to some people taking notes from the call, “I may have said that.”
Gen. Flynn told the House Oversight Committee in 2021 that “I never expressed a concern about the visuals, image, or public perception of sending the D.C. National Guard to the U.S. Capitol.”
Both officials said they worked to support Mr. McCarthy’s decisions.

I am 100% right.
Iggy is wrong, he sold all his shares hoping to buy back cheaper and has nothing left but to bash to hope to buy back cheaper and it's not happening because the float is locked, and he knows it.
It's so obvious.
Only because you sold. Just leave will you, take your game elsewhere.
You sold brother, if you didn't you wouldn't bash.
$DRNK very nice.
Iggy, why bash after you sell ? Why don't you just buy back. It's so obvious what you're doing, we all see it.

https://www.newmediawire.com/news/innovative-medtech-otc-imth-takes-a-big-step-forward-to-pioneer-the-future-of-healthcare-with-its-latest-partnership-for-innovative-vein-illumination-technology-7074060
This marks a pivotal moment in medical technology, potentially revolutionizing vein visualization for enhanced patient care
BLUE ISLAND, IL - (NewMediaWire) - April 15, 2024 - Innovative MedTech, Inc. (the “Company”) (OTC: IMTH), a provider of health and wellness technology solutions and services, is excited to announce the execution of a distribution agreement (the “Agreement”) with Near Infrared Imaging, Inc. (“NII”) for Vein-Eye Carry, a patent-pending vein illumination technology whichemploys advanced optics and real-time imaging to precisely identify veins, reducing the need for multiple attempts and enhancing procedural accuracy.
This Agreement is another milestone for the Company following its mission to license, distribute or acquire leading medical devices and technologies, potentially positioning the Company as a leader in the rapidly growing vein illuminator market.
The global vein illuminator market is set for substantial growth, anticipated to grow from $19.74 billion in 2022 to a projected $24.05 billion in 2023, reflecting an impressive Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) of 21.8%. This market's momentum is anticipated to continue, culminating in a valuation of $53.27 billion by 2027, with a CAGR of 22.0%. (See Research and Markets).
The home therapy, home infusion market is projected to grow to $380 billion by 2030 (see Markets and Markets). The Vein-Eye Carry is lightweight and portable and can be successfully carried into a home, up flights of stairs, carried into a clinic nursing home, placed in an ambulance or another emergency medical vehicle.

Iran Shuts Nuclear Facilities Over Revenge Fear
https://www.cf.org/news/iran-shuts-nuclear-facilities-over-revenge-fear/?utm_source=cforg.beehiiv.com&utm_medium=newsletter&utm_campaign=iran-shuts-nuclear-sites
Iran closed down its nuclear facilities amid fears of an Israeli attack, the United Nations has revealed.
Inspectors were blocked from the sites on Sunday, Rafael Grossi, the UN’s International Atomic Energy Agency chief, said.
The shutdown came as Israel’s war cabinet was locked in talks over how to respond to Iran’s first direct attack on its territory.
Experts have warned Iran is on the “threshold” of becoming a nuclear power and could build a bomb in six months to a year. Uranium enrichment is accelerating as the regime faces calls to create a deterrent.
There is limited evidence the Islamic Republic wants to create a nuclear bomb, and Israel is not understood to be preparing an imminent attack on nuclear facilities.
But Mr Grossi said UN inspectors in Iran “were informed by the Iranian government that… all the nuclear facilities we are inspecting every day would remain closed on security considerations” following the Iranian strikes.
He added that the facilities reopened on Monday but the inspectors would not be coming back there until some time on Tuesday.
The UN inspections are a legacy of the now defunct Iran nuclear deal, which exchanged sanctions relief for curbs and monitoring of the nuclear programme to prevent Tehran getting the bomb.
Inspectors this year found Iran was scaling up production of nuclear fuel approaching weapons grade uranium.
They also found newly installed equipment, ever faster speeds of uranium enrichment, and a planned expansion to double output.
The country’s Atomic Energy Organisation also used the term “deterrence” in relation to its nuclear programme earlier this year.
Kelsey Davenport, the director for Nonproliferation Policy at the Arms Control Association, said, “Iran is sitting on the threshold of nuclear weapons; it can build a bomb more quickly than at any point in its history.”
Ms Davenport warned that Israeli strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities would be “counter-productive”.
“A strike against Iran’s nuclear facilities should be off the table,” she said. “Targeting Iranian nuclear sites in reaction to a drone and missile attack that did minimal damage to Israel would be a reckless and irresponsible escalation that increases the risk of a wider regional war.
“A large-scale attack on Iran’s nuclear facilities is more likely to push Tehran to decide that developing nuclear weapons is necessary to deter future attacks.”
Iranian officials have always insisted that Tehran is pursuing its nuclear programme for civilian needs.
But the Islamic Republic has warned of a “severe” and “painful” response to any Israeli retaliation as the regime’s supporters urged it to build the weapons of mass destruction.
Abolfazl Amoei, the spokesman for the Iranian parliament’s national security committee, said: “We are prepared to use weapons we haven’t used previously, and we have strategies for every possible scenario. The Zionists should be careful.”
On social media, Madhi Mohammadi, an adviser to the speaker of the Iranian parliament, posted: “In addition to its missile programme, Iran also has a nuclear programme.”
Ebrahim Raisi, the president of Iran, said in a call on Monday with the emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani: “We firmly declare that the slightest action against Iran’s interests will definitely be met with a severe, extensive and painful response.”
Benjamin Netanyahu on Monday summoned the Israeli war cabinet for the second time in less than 24 hours, amid pressure from Joe Biden, the US president, and European allies to show restraint.
Telephone Scammers Trick Man Into Giving Up $180,000 In Life Savings
https://truthpress.com/news/telephone-scammers-trick-man-into-giving-up-180000-in-life-savings/
A Sylvania Township man is having trouble sleeping after being scammed out of his life savings.
Rama Bhamidipati, a software engineer, came to the U.S. from India on a work visa 10 years ago.
He dreamed of saving enough money so he could go back home to his family wealthy and successful, so he worked long hours and eventually saved up close to $180,000.
But when he picked up the phone on the afternoon of June 13, his hard work was in jeopardy.
“I received a call from a local police station number,” Bhamidipati said.
The voice on the other end of the line claimed to be someone from the Sylvania Township Police Department. They said they needed to transfer him to an FBI agent, and then someone from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security after that.
One by one, they all accused him of some very serious crimes.
Bhamidipati said he was told “there were some drugs being distributed under your [Social Security Number]. There are some terrorist activities going on.”
He was told authorities were prepared to arrest him if he didn’t cooperate. But, they said there was a way to avoid that.
“First thing is we need to get you a new SSN and you need to freeze all your accounts and everything,” Bhamidipati said.
The scammers faxed him a mountain of official-looking paperwork to fill out and told him to transfer all of his money — stocks and cash — into a Chase Bank account so they could monitor his finances.
Bhamidipati said he was given one rule: “They mentioned that you can discuss with your attorney, but not anyone else.”
But he doesn’t have an attorney, so he kept the issue to himself, and over the following week he dutifully filled out each sheet of fake documentation, sold his company shares and transferred every hard-earned cent of his into the bank account.
The scammers called again the next day, saying the Chase Bank account wouldn’t work and that a government-monitored bank account in Hong Kong would be safer.
So, Bhamidipati received the transfer request and hit send. He never saw his money or heard back from the people claiming to be government agents again.
“I immediately ran to the local police and filed a complaint. I ran to the Chase Bank and pleaded,” he said.
But he said no one could stop the transfer, not even U.S. Sen. Marcy Kaptur and the FBI. Sylvania Township police also consider Bhamidipati’s case closed.
Now, Bhamidipati’s dreams of bringing wealth home to his family are back to square one.
Lane Montz, the president and CEO of Toledo’s Better Business Bureau, says Bhamidipati’s situation is an example of why you should always second-guess the voice on the other end of the phone.
“There are so many red flags here, but it’s always easy to see them in hindsight after you know it’s a scam,” Montz said. “One of them is being contacted by a government official purely by phone. In all of these scams, the main focus is to get you scared or hopeful. In this case, scared.”
16-Year-Old Student Suspended After Using Term “Illegal Alien” In English Class
https://truthpress.com/news/16-year-old-student-suspended-after-using-term-illegal-alien-in-english-class/
16-year-old student at Central Davidson High School in Lexington, North Carolina was suspended for three days last week after using the term ‘illegal alien’ during a vocabulary assignment in his English class.
Leah McGhee’s son has a teacher who assigned vocabulary words during class last Tuesday, including the word ‘alien.’ McGhee says her son made an effort to understand the assignment and responded to his teacher, asking, “Like space aliens or illegal aliens without green cards?”
According to an email describing the incident, sent to local officials and shared with Carolina Journal, a young man in class took offense to his question and reportedly threatened to fight him, prompting the teacher to call in the assistant principal. Ultimately, his words were deemed by administrative staff to be offensive and disrespectful to classmates who are Hispanic.
“I didn’t make a statement directed towards anyone; I asked a question,” said the student in response to his suspension. “I wasn’t speaking of Hispanics because everyone from other countries needs green cards, and the term “illegal alien” is an actual term that I hear on the news and can find in the dictionary.”
In addition to the three-day suspension, his record could be damaged as he aims to secure an athletic scholarship for college. He is actively involved in school clubs, track, and cross country.
“Because of his question, our son was disciplined and given THREE days OUT of school suspension for ‘racism,’” wrote his mother in the email.
“He is devastated and concerned that the racism label on his school record will harm his future goal of receiving a track scholarship. We are concerned that he will fall behind in his classes due to being absent for three consecutive days.”
Leah said the assistant principal has so far refused to remove the infraction from her son’s record. The family is working with an attorney to remedy the situation so it doesn’t harm his future, and they expect more developments in the days ahead.
Meanwhile, State Senator Steve Jarvis, R-Davidson, said he contacted the school district’s superintendent to make him aware of the situation. Jarvis told the Carolina Journal that while he informed top officials of the issue and urged officials to look for the best outcome, he did not take a stance on what they should do because he wasn’t there to understand all sides of the story.
“I do not see that that would be an offensive statement, just in getting clarification,” said Jarvis. “But there again, I don’t know. I don’t know the situation of this particular incident.”
An official at Davidson County Schools said the district could not provide details on a student matter. The student handbook says that “schools may place restrictions on a student’s right to free speech when the speech is obscene, abusive, promoting illegal drug use, or is reasonably expected to cause a substantial disruption to the school day.”
State legislators have propelled school choice forward in North Carolina to give parents and students alternative education options. More than 72,000 applications flooded the Opportunity Scholarship program this February in record-breaking demand, and additional funds will likely expand the program’s budget due to the surging demand.
Very nice.

Israel Announces It Will Respond to Iran Missile Attack as Airlines Cancel Flights to Region

Israel’s military chief said on April 15 that Israel will respond to Iran’s missile and drone attack, but it’s not clear how or when.
Herzi Halevi, head of the Israel Defense Forces, told reporters that Iran’s strikes “will be met with a response” without elaborating. He spoke during a visit to the Nevatim air base, which Israel says suffered light damage in the Iranian attack.
“Iran wanted to harm the strategic capabilities of the State of Israel—that is something that had not happened before. We were prepared for the ‘Iron Shield’ operation—preparation that brought Iran to also meet air superiority,” he said. “Last Monday, we saw what was being organized, and we think that the State of Israel is very strong and knows how to deal with it alone, but with a threat so numerous and so far away, we are always happy to have [the United States] with us.
“Looking ahead, we are considering our steps, and this launch of so many missiles, cruise missiles, and UAVs into the territory of the State of Israel will be met with a response.”
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has been huddling with top officials to discuss a possible response to Iran’s attack involving hundreds of drones, ballistic missiles, and cruise missiles. World leaders have been urging Israel to not retaliate, while U.S. officials have suggested that Israel’s defense apparatus was overwhelmingly successful in dealing with Iran’s attack and intercepted 99 percent of their missiles and drones.
Iran’s attack on April 13 was the first time Tehran directly targeted Israel since the current regime took over in 1979. However, the country has been engaged in proxy attacks against both Israel and the United States originating from a number of Middle Eastern countries.

Airlines Cancel Flights
On April 15, a number of airline companies canceled or delayed flights again after the Iranian missile and drone attack. United Airlines and Air Canada, notably, canceled some flights into Tel Aviv as well as flights into Jordan.
About a dozen more companies announced that they would scrap flights to the country amid heightened tensions.
More Warnings
Iranian officials said the attack was carried out in response to an Israeli airstrike on April 1 on a Syrian compound that left two Iranian generals and other officials dead.
Over the weekend, Tehran issued more warnings to Israel to not respond, while noting that any U.S. intervention in the escalating conflict would be met with a response, too. All U.S. assets and bases in the region could be targeted, one official said.
“Our response will be much larger than tonight’s military action if Israel retaliates against Iran,” armed forces chief of staff Maj. Gen. Mohammad Bagheri told state-run media in articles published on April 14. He claimed that Iran warned the United States through Switzerland that any support of an Israeli counterattack against Iran would lead to American assets being targeted.
After the drones and missiles were launched, the Iranian Revolutionary Guard issued a direct warning to the United States through state-run IRNA that the “U.S. government is warned any support or participation in harming Iran’s interests will be followed by decisive and regretting response by Iran’s armed forces.”
U.S. National Security Council spokesman John Kirby commented on April 15 about whether the United States had been or expects to be briefed on any Israeli response plans.
“We will let the Israelis speak to that,” he told reporters. “We are not involved in their decision-making process about a potential response.”
The Iranian attack on April 13 was the first time that Iran has launched a direct military assault on Israel, despite decades of enmity dating back to the country’s 1979 Islamic Revolution. The attack happened less than two weeks after a suspected Israeli strike in Syria that killed two Iranian generals in an Iranian consular building.
Israel’s military stated that its Arrow system, which shoots down ballistic missiles outside the atmosphere, handled most interceptions and noted that “strategic partners” were involved.
U.S. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin said in a statement that U.S. military forces “intercepted dozens of missiles and UAVs en route to Israel, launched from Iran, Iraq, Syria and Yemen,” referring to a term used for unmanned aerial vehicles.
“At my direction, to support the defense of Israel, the U.S. military moved aircraft and ballistic missile defense destroyers to the region over the course of the past week,” President Joe Biden said in a separate statement over the past weekend. “Thanks to these deployments and the extraordinary skill of our service members, we helped Israel take down nearly all of the incoming drones and missiles.”
Israel and Iran have been on a collision course throughout Israel’s six-month war against Hamas terrorists in the Gaza Strip after members of the group carried out a cross-border attack that left more than 1,200 civilians dead. More than 250 people were kidnapped during the Oct. 7, 2023, incident, according to officials. Israel’s government is still negotiating with Hamas for the release of the remaining hostages.
