Doesn't need news to move it to $.50.. worth $1 as it stands now. this is a baby Napster.
The float on this stock is so small and tightly held..
that a hiccup could send it to $5!
Think of NAPSTER. This coulf ne a 50 bagger.
With $5 / share current assets I would say the XRTX share price fully discounts the worst earnings calamity.
Their business is data storage, which is growing exponentially.
IMO XRTX shares started the rise in anticipation of earnings and will rise to $3.5 - $4 range pre earnings same scenario as SMOD.
XRTX next HSNI? Look at this balance sheet $5 / share working capital no long term debt. Was $20 not too long ago. Best fund in the business Renaissance ownw 2 MM shares and they earned $.26 last quarter.

GlaxoSmithKline Archemix (NTMD) in deal worth up to $1.4 bln for drugs for inflammatory diseases
NTMD/Archemix is the same company
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
On November 18, 2008, Archemix announced that it had entered into a merger agreement with NitroMed, Inc., (NASDAQ: NTMD) pursuant to which Archemix has agreed to merge with NitroMed in an all-share transaction. The merger is subject to approval by Archemix's and NitroMed's shareholders, consummation of the sale of NitroMed's BiDil and BiDil XR drug business and other customary closing conditions. As a result of the $27.5 million in upfront payments received by Archemix from GSK, Archemix now estimates that cash and cash equivalents for the combined company at the closing of the merger will be approximately $78-88 million.

HERE IS TODAYS MEGA BUSTER NEWS
GlaxoSmithKline working with Archemix
Tuesday December 23, 6:55 am ET
LONDON (AP) -- GlaxoSmithKline PLC and Archemix Corp. said Tuesday they will work together to develop drugs for inflammatory diseases in a deal that could be worth as much as $1.4 billion.
The pharmaceutical companies said they will be studying aptamers, which bind to disease-causing proteins to stop them from having an effect.

They hope to develop as many as seven new drugs to treat inflammatory diseases like rheumatoid arthritis and inflammatory bowel disease, the companies said in a joint press release.
Massachusetts-based Archemix will do the research into the potential new drugs, starting with $27.5 million in upfront payments from London-based GlaxoSmithKline. Archemix will then be eligible to receive up to $200 million in development, regulatory and sales milestone payments for each of the seven drugs that could be developed -- making the deal potentially worth more than $1.4 billion, according to the statement.
If the drugs make it to the sales stage, Archemix would also receive royalties "up to lower double digits" on worldwide sales, the release said.
Archemix Chief Executive Errol DeSouza told the Associated Press that it was too early to comment on the likely timeframe for the deal, but that it was already at the clinical trial stage with several other aptamer drugs.
"We're excited about working with GlaxoSmithKline...to find where aptamers could offer novel options to treat disease," said DeSouza.
Glaxo shares were down 0.29 percent at 1,224 pence in morning trading on the London Stock Exchange.

The key to this stock is its tiny float and market cap compared to competitors. With only 3.6 MM shares OS, it would still be cheap at $10 compared to competitors like SFN that have a $100 MM market cap. I think $4 - $5 is a short term slam dunk with the January effect. However I think I will hold for much higher prices. IMO this is not a trading stock, it is the kind of stock you buy and hold and become very very wealthy.
OK in this environment any profit is great.
where did you see the guidance for next quarter? Thanks

My Strategy is to load up on cash flow positive stocks trading below cash. Found another- ENWV.
$2.10 with $3 / share cash and 46 / share cash + inventory.

SMOD + 50% since call at .95. Nice. Also doing great on HSNI and AGM and NVTL.
SMOD $1.01 + $.03 with $3 / share net liquid assets cash flow positive.
SMOD is the cheapest stock I can find and i think is poised for a SRZ type run. It was cash flow positive last report and has been for years, but they are streamlining costs to increase cash flow.
Based on latest quarterly report:
Current assets = $384M
Current liabilities = $114M
Long term liabilities = $83M
Dilutive shares outstanding = 61.3M
So, conducting a pessimistic valuation of this company by assigning no value to their long-term assets (like property and equipment) and assuming the future free cash flows of the business will equal ZERO, when discounted to present value, this stock is worth (384 - 114 - 83) / 61.3 = $3.05/share!
So, to me this is a no brainer. Their best bet right now is to close shop, give a huge severance package to all the employees, then give out $2 - $3/share to all the shareholders. An even better possibility is that a big boy competitor will do this same math and scoop them up.
$.99 with $3 / share net liquid assets cash flow positive.

Why would I buy that when I can buy a risk free cash flow positive nasdaq stock at 1/3 liquid assets?
SMOD $.98 $3 per share liquid assets cah flow positive
SMOD is $.98 and is cash flow positive with $3 per share net liquid assets (cash + inventory - debt).
Best buy in the market right now IMO. Its price is insane. Should be at $3 minimum even in a recession.

actually SMOD has net liquid assets of $3 / share and positive cash flow. Will be $3 in no time.
Just purchased a penny stock with positive cash flow and the liquidation value of the company is $3.47 p/s. I'm
going to make over 500% in 3 months of owning 1 stock. As I said before, kickin ass is what I do. What's the stock? Better not mention it people will say I am a pumper!!
Merry Xmas!
Bought 25000 of HSNI at $1.90, will be $4 in a week IMO. This has similar cash flow per share as Amazon for $2.50!
Also look at SMOD. Buy of the century. $.98 with over $2 per share net cash and cash flow positive. I see $2 in a week.
my picks: GKK and SMOD
NO BRAINER: NVTL $3.3, $5 / share cash no debt cash flow positive.
