Like in Kenya, there is the basis for reasonable excitement toward the imminent commencement of our exploration in Chad.
How incredible is it to have someone who is willing to say that looking through rose colored lenses is not so rosie?

I think its illegal to yell fire in a theater no?
one could be for natural gas?eom
The difference in the value of ERHE between proven and unproven is worthy of a discussion on its own. Ranges for unproven are a lot lower than proven. Some numbers posted by Mabeen1 several yrs ago are outstanding. They were based on $50 oil and ranged from $1.50 to $3.00 unproven and $17 to$25.00/sh 1-3 years down the road. Natural gas is a wild card as I see it.
Does anyone know the size of the float? It would seem that the fewer shares available the more aggressive the sp.
Educated guess anyone? While we have some indication that unproven oil deposits exist, how much longer will it take to announce proven oil deposits? What incentive is there to announce proven? Isn't this like showing your hand while playing cards?
below is a post from yankemike it does a nice job of determining sp for erhe. other variables outlined in my last post are going to factor in one way or another wouldnt you say? its like playing the game of clue ...it was xyz who found oil and/or gas, who was than bought out by a company with good intentions, at a price which hindges on the price of oil? Maybe my horizon for this company is longer than yours?

Formula for share price:
S.P. = [R * 0.1(OP)]/ 722M
S.P. = share price in dollars
R = Proven oil reserves
OP = Price of crude oil in dollars
So if you plug in 344M barrels of proven reserves, and an oil price of $70, you come up with a share price of approximately $3.33.
This formula gives a ROUGH APPROXIMATION of the share price based on proven undeveloped reserves. Obviously, many other factors need to be considered.
There are too many unknown factors to put a price tag on erhe. How much oil,if were bought out, stock split, listing on another exchange, more oil than estimated, less oil than estimated. We need another white board or chart to make sence of it all.
Has the issue with ERHC Arbitration in Blocks 5 and 6 of the Nigeria and São Tomé and Príncipe Joint Development Zone, begun in November of 08, been setteled? I don't remember it being finalized. Thanks in advance.
BB & midtieroil All..thanks for the insight. Without others to help explain events, I don't think I would have stayed around as long as I have. It would be great if meetings were held in different regions of the country. I submit that delegates from the east coast be involved in presenting with joe six pack :)
BB In reply to your last post.... "Keep in mind that if speculation plays out as stated and ERHC issues new shares at a premium to the current sp....that our sp won't suffer at all. An investment bank that knows the real value of our JDZ assets might want a healthy percentage of ERHC and be willing to pay for it via block of new shares." ... Isn't there enough shares on the float to satisfy all concerns? I'm confused.
today looked manipulted demand was undermined with sell orders someone wants this stock to go down big time the logic could be devious and warrents close attention
my thoughts are the same as most here as a long time holder at .70 i too have gotten tired of the setbacks last year everyone was saying this year this year everyone is saying next year i have the patience but like some this may out live my life spand for what it worth i remain optimistic and this is still the best board
BB...It's simple...You leave they win...I don't think so! ;) Your better than that...I know it you know it.
bb...An alliance or partnership might give erhe some leverage in return for company owned shares of erhe...just thinking out loud...i think things can change instantly when unknown factors become visible.
Red and Try...Thanks for the insight...If I may speculate, will we then receive x number of shares of the new in exchange for x number of ERHE? I'm also wondering which company will provide the better earnings. But that would require a crystal ball.
I'm not sure I understand. Are you saying that ERHE will have a seperate company that will be traded on the AIM, or is this a spin off of ERHE?

Are imminent buyins/outs and ceasing to be ERHC no longer part of any scenario? .....They will become attractive if and when we can show the merits of our efforts hold real value. I think drilling will launch these efforts. Should they chose not to disclose these results then Huston we have a problem. I ask the rest of you, why would they not want to come foreward with those results unless unless they were counter productive.
Welcome back BB!...timing is everything...which comes first? discovery of crude and how much? moving to another exchange? hiring a new gun? until we get some news of substance real substance we are range bound and risk to reward will act accordingly should erhe explore other avenues of profit i would view that as moving away from what has brought us here and not to shareholders bottom line of concern ie crude and lots of it.
With the increase in volume of trades dilution of shares would not be to our advantage. Two principles are at work. 1) supply and demand and 2) what the market place will tolerate. When we get real news we will get exposure from the masses which will drive the value of the sp. I would argue that the real news is out there waiting. We are either in the seventh inning stretch or top of the fourth.
My opinion of him is one of integrity. There are others as well, but they have already posted.
Well at least today's volume was up. It was disheartening to see sp drop though. Why hasn't BB posted. I would have hoped he would have shared his thoughts with yesterday's meeting.
yes i agree eom
i stand corrected however the principal applies the only interested investors are the folks on these boards ie raging bull etc.when someone yells "fire" the reaction is nuts ....all i'm saying is lets be careful out there...Hill Street Blues circa 70's
you and BB are making some really good points my only reservation is that we are listed on the pinks and as such make Dodge City look like Disney World.
whats everyone doing with there proxy vote?...i personaly don't think it matters as they have the votes to proceed with or without us.
transactions are name of the game ducks geese eggs where's the beef?
I agree with Red. It will take more than smoke and mirrors to attract hard earned capital (that includes most here.) Houston do we have lift off?
I truely do not know anything about eom's position on this venture. I do sense that they are still involved. Let's just call it a hunch and leave it at that. I can speak no more to it as I have know real knowledge and my source will not say.
Thanks for the help.............what has kept me here for many years comes from a source at xom... at that time they were very interested however i have no knowledge of current status as times have changed many time over and i have no knowledge of their current involvement
"Richkans post last fall".................Can someone give me the # of that post?
Looks like a Conglomerate eom

A reverse takeover (RTO), also known as a back door listing, or a reverse merger, is a financial transaction that results in a privately held company becoming a publicly held company without going the traditional route of filing a prospectus and undertaking an initial public offering (IPO)." Does this mean a reverse stock split is coming, and isn't this a bad thing?
