i'm like a blind pig and today could be a truffle... at least i called this one today and took my own advice and bought someone's stopped out shares at 4.50 and 4.48. As Frank Drebin said, 50% of the time I am right 75% of the time... now lets push this truffle over 5 again and go. last hour could be fun
Thanks for all the analysis. I see lots of good news in here, and enough headline red meat for the otc traders to beat this pretty well for a couple of days. I wouldn't be surprised with low 4s and a smart money quick reversal next week that will piss off those who lose their shares to stop losses at $4.50 and $4.25
Yep- I pulled the rip cord at 29 again (and left 10% of it in just to make me feel better if it rips in the AM.) Was a good day, made up for some good losses down from 30. I'm in my first (part time) year learning this. Will be interesting to see tomorrow.
I was in and took profits just over 26, went to meetings and my jaw dropped at 27.50+... so I got back in (many days that may have been dumb) and now, just crested 29... wild.
get out or hold overnight? Feels like many people will be caught off guard by the big number headline and will start up again early tomorrow? or just wishful thinking?
Hold overnight? Or will this cool off and gap down before open?
I may be mis-remembering, but I think the last couple days of March were down as well and then a couple of quick up days early April. This feels like low-volume, OTC walk-it-down BS with lack of news for a while. I do think we could rally to and through 6 with earnings next week.
Up- use "Find" on browser and it comes up under Personal Products about halfway down. You have a lot of "de Capital Variables" from Mexico before you hit CV Sciences
Cool find as always Sleuth. Maybe they could buy more today?
Thanks FastMny
Who are the extraction companies?
Yes, its BS. But the advertising around class action lawsuits will linger like it has with CVSI and APHA. VFF is my second hit by Citron in the past 9 months
Thanks Rog. Good info
And we trade $300,000 worth of share value in a day... need to get some attention... A CEO as well and get past the short attack from Dec.
volume higher in first 40 min than any of past 5 days... will be hard to ignore if we can stay green and avoid being played by MM. regardless 100M revenue in a year and 108% 2019 guidance is amazing in near and long term.
anyone on conf call and can post notes? I cannot join this AM..
early answer is no... tcnnf did not inspire activity here yet :)
will do - after vacation next week
Perhaps a good read through to CURLF from the TCNNF posting of $103m 2018 today and 108% guidance for 2019. Lets hope this shines a brighter light on well run MSOs... I'm trying to figure who is most efficient and strategic in this area - I like CURLF, TCNNF, and HRVSF. Others?
Perhaps TCNNF $103 mil annual report and 108% guidance for 2019 will help shine a brighter light on Multistate operators in US. Earnings for HRVSF around end of the month? I hope they are maximizing revenue in this aggressive expansion.
Wow - $103 million for TCNNF... I hope that casts a light on us.
Great report TCNNF! $103mil in just FL. I think we are in MA and CA now too. 108% guidance? Amazing...
Now lets pass the SAFE Banking act and allow this to uplist and get access to banks and... watch out.
Agreed - but I would love that headline...
I hope LHSIF gets a good read through bump up with TCNNF earnings tomorrow. More people should see what potential will happen with this many profitable dispensaries in FL and if we get a CEO or bought out soon. Thoughts?
Has any MJ company posted $100mil in annual revenue yet? And will TCNNF be the first?
What are next catalysts that people are watching for here and on what time frame? Texas? Earnings? Distribution announcement?
Yeah, but couldn't you say that we had excellent numbers in Nov and Dec too? No mj or hemp play is immune from the broader market as yesterday showed. Hopefully we are relatively better within the category due to our numbers. Looking forward to tomorrow.
I only try to invest in profitable companies or those with significant and growing revenue like CVSI, CWBHF, TCNNF because they 'feel' relatively safer. But yesterday was a reminder of last Nov and Dec: ie that despite good numbers the broader market really drives the MJ Hemp markets lower at even quicker declines. Its reminds me we are a speculative industry and therefore the quickest area that many pull the plug. They seem correlated when things are going down - if whole market down 1% expect mj hemp down 3%... And good news from it, (like Jan and Feb) it seems mj hemp spring back better and higher on the way back up. Its hard to be patient when in the red in a good economy. Now as I look ahead at what mj and hemp may look like in a recession in late 19 or early 20, it may be even harder to be patient if certain structural changes have not occurred. Will be fascinating to see.
Thanks Jefra. Good to get a new store count update. I like the % increase here too.
I think TH and Fri could be up TCNNF, but overall sell off was pretty wide due to worries of larger market slowdown? When that happened in Nov/Dec no mj stocks were immune.
Green indeed: as Frank Drebin liked to say, there's a 50/50 chance, but only a 10% chance of that...
I had to throw my 25K block bid in at 5.93 to make Mr Boom happy for the weekend... (I wish.)
They wouldn't let me do that for OTC stocks either Bear. I use Etrade for all of these now to avoid the international Fidelity mark-up ($50 extra for canadian listed CWBHF, TCNNF, etc; and no stop losses).
yes! (see, just call me Mr. Positive, Mr Boom)
Thanks Rifle. I see the company that performed CVSI GRAS is also an associate member- AIBMR Life Sciences.
nice reversal yesterday down to 5.50s and back up green. profits from cwbhf flowing back over here?
Boom: I'm negative on OTC stock price action, not this company. Big difference. I've been investing and trading CVSI here over a year now, and really like CVSI. But I am very realistic about this crappy OTC market and the illogical actions that whip us around down here.
No idea if it will go up today to 5.95, or drop to 5.39 and scare people loose of shares again (and I will try to buy some then...).
Good morning: after a nice pop in March, this once again feels like the same sideways trading of the crappy OTC not based on the value of the company. Feels like we are watching the same movie, just a little brighter screen. I hope the new $5.50 channel holds as many people have mentioned, and have a bid in near there since I do fully expect an unexpected, manipulated drop on low volume for a brief time to clear stops near 5.49, 5.40 etc. I would also not be surprised with a couple of unexpected quick 7% moves to hit low $6 again after that... (The capriciousness of the OTC market reminds me of how a middle school bully works...) CWBHF def has the mojo in the CBD market leader space at present - I know many of regular posters here are also in that and it is interesting to compare the different market functions between the two. Have a good day all.
Quick - Someone put that 65,000 share buy offer in now... get us to 1m
new record volume two days in a row
Ha :)
Yep- I saw the first one with Kim and would love another one. Well run profitable US mj companies at scale are unicorns.
