My understanding was that they have enough money to last well into next year. Am I correct?
I wish I could say it is just the last few days that has me frustrated. Last few years is more like it. There is so much potential here, yet hardly anyone is taking notice. What is it going to take?
I wonder if a larger suitor is knocking our price down to get a better price on buy out?
I agree. For a company with so much going for it, I hope to see improvement in the sp soon!
Not sure if this has been asked before- What would it take to provide DCVAX direct thru the specials program in the UK?
I’m in the boat that believes that the publication, buildout for production and the approval process are going on simultaneously. Like many have stated before me, what good would it do for them to come out with a “partial TLD” statement that would surely draw criticism from anyone demanding more than just a basic picture? Publishing a scientifically reviewed article in a respected journal takes time and leaves a lot of the time consuming steps in other’s hands (reviewers, publishers etc) but may be a far superior way to reveal their findings.
Also a better option for shareholders because it would presumably offer a more sustained, higher share price.
One could also argue that leaving a protracted amount of time between TLD and approval may not serve shareholders as it may create another “quiet period” which many would find unacceptable!
I’m gonna have a nice Thanksgiving/ Christmas anyway ( and I hope you all do too!)
I would argue that perhaps they don’t own the clock in most of the process?
No, I’m just saying that getting DCVAX to market probably presents an enormous burden on LP and company when it comes to acquiescing to the immediate desires of shareholders vs saving people’s lives. I, for one, would figure that I’d have to live with the guilt of putting immediate wealth (presumably an enormous spike in SP) over presenting the world with a new cancer cure…
One could challenge her fiduciary duty to shareholders possibly with her responsibilities to bring this therapy to GBM patients. I think that this is a struggle that LP must face at every decision. If she put out a lot of information that would later harm the chances of DCVAX approval, she would have to live with that as well. Time will tell if she makes the right decisions but I believe in the company’s decision making until proven otherwise.
Wouldn’t the generic name of DCVAX simply be “autologous dendritic cells” (ATL- DC’s) as the UCLA trial with Keytruda has it? Is there any implications that the product printed on the bag doesn’t mention the generic name placed underneath it? EVERY commercial/ product that I have ever seen/been given as a retail pharmacist has both the brand and generic name of the product being given. Is it because it’s a process and not a product? Just interested in other’s opinions on this?
Sometimes a Sweetheart, sometimes not so much! I love your post. Thank you!
I like your thinking. Unfortunately due to lack of dry powder, I will just have to hold what I have till either b/o or approval. Wish I could establish a trading position in both ATNM and NWBO!
Is a buy out our only hope at this point?? Their pipeline doesn’t seem to impres Wall Street?
Insider selling?
Great Dane!
I can’t believe I missed this post- it’s an epic post- should be stickied!
Then my stake in the company (and I understand yours too) hopes the ends justify the means!
I truly believe that the company knows that they can’t last till November 2022. They need some kind of cash investment to stay alive and (correct me if I’m wrong) they legally can’t sell shares (dilute) if they have knowledge that is crucial to the company’s well-being? My point is, it’s in everyone’s best interest to get approval as soon as possible. That’s why I believe it’s in a regulatory body’s hands.
I hear the frustration and I understand. I’m often get in a frustrated mood myself. It’s then that I think of all of the regulatory “hoops” that NWBO must face at pretty much every point in their process. In multiple jurisdictions as well. I feel sometimes they are bound to keep silent based upon how it would look to the regulators if they spoke up.
I’m just saying that DI and the others shouldn’t be judged too hastily. If, say, a month from now (or a longer period of time) the company finally PR’s not only a positive TLD- but BLA acceptance in one or more of the jurisdictions- we would maybe regret our previous criticisms?
I agree- we don’t know everything that he does behind the scenes and it’s premature to judge anyone until we know the whole story. I pray that is soon.
Yes, it’s sad because there is so much potential for this company with such a relatively small float and a nice pipeline.
Not sure why there’s no breakout today? Any insights? (For anyone)
I agree with your take on the PR. Even though it wasn’t a front page story, it mattered just to hear something from the company.
I have determined about a year ago that I’m going to just hold the shares I have and not buy or sell anything till at least TLD. Though it was awful tempting to buy at under 1.05 and I may have made an exception had I had any dry powder. I hope all of our patience pays off and a new hope can be delivered for those suffering with GBM.
Usually I get an emailed copy of the PR. Haven’t gotten anything yet. (Not that I need it) Just wondering if they ceased sending updates from their investor databank?
Thank you Antihama, but I typically don’t use a computer to post and my iPhone doesn’t have the functionality.
That’s okay- I appreciate your trying. Here’s to some good news coming our way soon! :)
Thank you so much for trying but I don’t think I have an “image” button that you refer to?
Do you think that the resulting share price from a reverse split would last long enough to qualify us for a better exchange? I ask this as a long, not as a cynical question- I just don’t know if a r/s wouldn’t come back to bite us without any news.
Okay, if I click on my link, I can see the emoji that I sent?
Lol, thanks anyway- either doesn’t work with iPhone or I’m computer illiterate. (Second one is highly likely)
Just figured out I couldn’t send the “thumbs up” emoji!
Looks like the beatings are going to continue until morale improves?
The above mentioned takes time and patience. If an investor (not specifically siting you) doesn’t have either, sell and find another company.
Agreed that it will take regulatory approval to reach 50/sh but I hope we can at least reach 20 with good news/ presentations before the end of the year. With such a small float, this stock is coiled for a spike.
Best minions ever= grandkids!
