Hk Fooey: Same to you.
Remember that character who was screaming, and buying, all the way down to .0001 that 'the market cap is getting SQUEEEEEEZZZZED' like it was some super buy signal?
Well, it's getting squezed again, so maybe it's him...
skruggs: Been funny watching people paying .055, then .05, then .041, then .03, then .025, and now .01 last couple of days.
I can't believe anyone is paying anything for this bk crap. People buying at .05 are down 80% in two days. Even the people buying at .02 are down 50%.
Hk Fooey: I does seem so. And, once again, thanks for finding and sharing this stuff...
gimp_vulture: French filed for bankruptcy:

therealtruth10: Looks like someone put in a buy for 8M shares, that took 14 seconds to fill.
But how interesting, really, is a 800.00 total trade?
Hk Fooey: Thanks, once again, for keeping us up to date with what's going on with the VAT stuff.
barryinla: Don't you think that a large percentage of that business has probably gone to other companies by now?
I seriously doubt that they can start off running again at anywhere near what they were doing before...
Gambler - Could be, but I've never had a problem with any site before.
I'll have to watch more closely when I go to other sites...
Dano: Interesting tidbit, at least to me - just went to the website and the Thawte icon states "Invalid Certificate."
Looks like Plant hasn't bothered to keep the site secure for purchases.
Dano: You had one p too many:

For those who care, it looks like the MJ suit is winding down: 25 lots are being awarded to MJ, and 35 lots to JJ.
Go to the following court site, search for Michael J. Jackson.

roundabout: You're right, the battle isn't over until the DOJ and IRS are through with him.
richard_jones: Thanks for that rather discouraging info.
It doesn't surprise me as there has been no business for these guys to do for quite awhile now.
Hk Fooey: Thanks. That's pretty much how I'm going to look at this until something dire happens (like the High Court doesn't uphold the VAT Tribunal - that would be dire).
As for the longer delay, I hope it winds up being much shorter than what you think it could be. Maybe the High Court will see that this is something that is directly affecting many companies, as well as the government, and speed up the process.
Again, thanks.
The Cap'm: Well, thank you ever so much for being so helpful and willing to converse with someone like me.
I feel so special now.
Again, thanks.
The Cap'm: Huh?
A reference to the answer to Life, the universe, and everything...
The Cap'm: Hmmmm... So I shouldn't believe that post, either?
The Cap'm: So you are that optimistic, which if you are right, will be good for me: at .025 I can get out completely green after having done some serious averaging down.
I'm not sure you are 100% correct (for example, the bit about them buying shares), nor am I sure that the High Court will come down on the side of the VAT Tribunal.
But I can wait. I have all the things I want or need, so I have no real use for the 5800.00 I'm into this stock for still.
Good luck to both of us.
The Cap'm: So you believe that the HMRC's decision to appeal the VAT tribunal's decision to the High Court is meaningless, has no possible affect at all?
It's a pretty optimistic view of today's news from HK Foley...
The Cap'm: I have no intention of selling anything right now. Maybe later this year, if I need to consider tax loss selling, but right now, the most I can lose from here is another 5800.00. Not chump change, but nothing for me to sweat about.
I'm just extremely unhappy with the latest twist in the VAT mess. Are you happy with it?
Hk Fooey: Well, that throws a spanner into the works.
We have no idea how long this appeal process will take, nor its outcome, or even if in favor of Livewire Telecom whether it will be narrowly defined so as to apply only to Livewire Telecom.
And will the VAT & Duties Tribunal go forward with new reviews now, or wait and see how the appeal goes?
Bah...
Anvil/CT: Thanks for sharing that info with the rest of us. It's all very interesting, particularly the parts where it appears Gundy may be getting groomed for rolling on RA.
Again, thanks.
Anvil/CT: Good luck in your other endeavors. You will be missed.
janice shell: Thanks. I look forward to providing RB with a new countdown to RA's next "bring-your-toothbrush" moment...
All State: He may own up to the location of some, but I also don't think he'll point to where most of it is.
If he hasn't got any money, he really has been living way, way beyond where he has appeared to be living...
virginian: Without a full report of what was said by the judge, in particular, it isn't clear.
It does look like RA made an attempt to meet the judge's demands regarding his financial info, which was what he was essentially on the hook for. How detailed and complet, is unknown right now, but clearly it was enough to hold off RA going to jail right now.
I have no idea if new payment terms were imposed, or any of that. All I know is the judge was looking for RA to come clean on his finances, and RA apparently did.
need: Not a problem. Maybe I can get Anvil to send me an email if I promise not to diseminate the info, and just use if for personal knowledge.
Thanks for your post.
need: Supposedly 9:30. I doubt it was cancelled or rescheduled, that would have showed up in PACER.
Does seem odd that neither of the two people known to be going there this AM has made any attempt to post anything at all...
janice_shell: Thanks.
puppydotcom: I guess us non-members will still need to be very careful about who we call 'fluffy'...
dia duit: Poor Bud, being so misquoted. I love the fact that Arun (beone/valueinvestor/beatenvalue/usxpite/etc.) and Bud now see what they thought was a great event, an event totally blown out of proportion by them, as a dark conspiracy to unduly influence the appeals court by taking an opportunity to dump all over Gundy again.
You can't make up stuff like this.
Oh wait, apparently you can...
Mighty_Mezz: It is amazing how far beone and Bud can stray from the truth of what has appently happened.
Gunderson may have actually filed an appeal of the ALJ's ruling within the 21 days allowed, and maybe the SEC commissioners (or their staff) will review the appeal of that ALJ ruling.
That is barely within the same world as beone's report that the ALJ overruled Judge Lynch and is letting Gunderson essentially argue the whole case before the SEC commissioners.
If they are selling their house, and their condo is being claimed by the court, where are they planning on living?
Of course, the floating condo...
All State: No. That company has been around for over 20 years.
There's also a Universal Express in England and although I don't have a link, someone posted awhile back about a Universal Express in Australia.
overachiever: Ask has gone back up to .0002.
Can't expect it to stay at .0001 for very long the first few times it comes down to that, but each time could be longer than the last.
Was at .0001 yesterday for less than 5 minutes...
ETrade shows Bid 0, Ask .0001, again.
virginian: np - All Stars post was much better at expaining exactly what's going on, though.
ETrade is now showing the bid at 0, and the ask at .0001.
Didn't last long - Back to .0002...
virginian: It is not a new suit. If you read the actual filing it is a summary of the SEC vs USXP et al case, and the resulting summary judgement.
The receiver can request information from banks, private individuals, storage facilities, other companies, etc. in attempting to find assets in a specific locality, whether in Florida, Las Vegas, Texas, or New York. But she cannot subpoena them if they refuse.
By filing the NY courts rulings in other jurisdictions she can use those court's to help enforce her requests.
A New York federal court can subpoena anyone they want in direct relationship to the suit in question. They cannot issue subpoena's to help a company (in this case USXP), even one taken over by a receiver it appoints, in a different jurisdiction. Thus the SEC filing in Florida.
