Lodas, I also just STO the April 29th $45 PUT and collected $1.00 ps on 20 contracts.
Lodas, I just STO the weekly April 29 $46.50 and collected $1.50 per share 20 contracts. This is one day after earning which I expect will be positive.
In the last 2-3 weeks when COOP moved down so fast, I made a ton of $$ by STO PUTS I have them at $35, $40, $45 all now big time ITM also have some $50 Mays that I collected 7.90 per share. So, I have had fun now with weeklies I will need to look at all my Options - so to speak!
COOP greatly expanded their Options by creating weekly dates and tighten the strike prices. The must have plans for more activity. Lodas what is your take on new Option tables?
Ron, you may not understand the effects of Writing a PUT Option. If you STO - Sell to Open a PUT Option, it is an optimistic play that you are betting the pps is too low and will close above your Stike price on expiration date.
When you STO a PUT you need someone that want the pps to go lower and that would be the Buyer of the PUT - who is betting the pps will go below the strike price.
I love doing STO PUT options and with COOP going lower I have collected well over 100K in cash into my account (in just the last week), which I use to buy more COOP shares. The negative is one must have cash reserves to buy the stock if assigned. One would only get assigned if the pps went below your Stike price. When you SELL first you also have Time decay working on your side which lets you Buy to close when close before expiration date.
Investing can be a gamble and one needs to understand - what can go wrong and how to mitigate any loss. Yes, I feel the pps of COOP is too low and willing to bet it will move above my Stike price.

Nightdaytrader, I wish I had the answer as why they (Charles Smith) others worked so hard to conceal what could be Estate assets. This Paladin Acquisitions Corp does have same address as Charles Smith and it show him only as acting chief legal officer
It does show Matthew Boutte as CEO & President and states he is A proven banking executive with broad experience in bank treasury, balance sheet risk, fixed income portfolio management, stress testing, and product line finance functions at institutions of varying sizes
https://www.linkedin.com/in/matthewboutte
It show Paladin as in the industry of Investment Management https://www.linkedin.com/company/paladin-acquisitions-corporation/about/
Also show Peter Freilinger active with Paladin https://www.linkedin.com/in/peter-freilinger-6742299/

Loan Corporation, Marion Insurance Company, WAMU 1031 Exchange, WM Mortgage Reinsurance Company, Inc., WM Citation Holdings, LLC, Washington Mutual Finance Group, LLC, Soundbay Leasing LLC, WMGW Delaware Holdings LLC, WMI Rainier LLC and Washington Mutual Capital Trust.
Most of the old subs of WMI I listed was only reactivated and then merged but with no clear links on who they where merged with. These subs seem to be some of the remaining subs:
It is clear - Charles Smith and Doreen went through a lot of work, time and expense with these subs but for what reason remains? It seems logical that they will / have been formed as a sub of Paladin Acquisitions Corp and could be new sub of WMIH corp for benefit of Estate owners?

BBOB, I see your point and agree that possible just new shares to Estate holder could take place.
I do feel we will also see something else coming through DST just wish they did not make this so muddy.
Note: I still expect a Forward stock split in COOP, or an issuing of shares to Estate owners for assets.
All reactivated subs and PALADIN ACQUISITIONS COMPANY LLC are listed as Jurisdiction of Delaware and my best guess is all those subs will become a sub of PALADIN ACQUISITIONS COMPANY LLC which IMO will be a new sub of WMIH-Corp and those Estate holders that signed their release will be issued ether new shares or cash for value through the DST.

If you check further some subs where merged into other sub listed on bottom.
lodas, I can help Ron with that question
dm, How many shares of Company Stock are eligible to vote at the annual meeting?
At the close of business on March 21, 2022, the record date of the annual meeting, there was a total of 74,610,861 shares of Mr. Cooper Group common stock outstanding and eligible to vote at the annual meeting.
BBANBOB, if if if COOP does issue more shares there will be add value that equals those shares. I see more a possible dividend getting reported along with forward split.
MORE IMPORTANT IS:
So what has these lt manager been doing in last 6 months?
It is the assets held in legal isolation and off books as for the reorganization ch. 11 There are only two managers = CHARLES SMITH AND DOREEN LOGAN DOING administering final MINISTERIAL DETAILS through and including 3/31/2022 Chad Smith has been the main legal counsel and Doreen was in charge of WMII and managed all the assets held in Trust. It is those remote assets and what these two are doing that should be important. These reactivated subs are all registored in Deleware and if shares are issued will be new shares from PALADIN ACQUISITIONS COMPANY LLC which is likly a sub of WMIH-Corp IMO
Why did they form = PALADIN ACQUISITIONS COMPANY LLC

Why did they reactivate all the subs listed below in the last year with Smith listed as acting CEO? YES, I still believe all those that sign the required papers needed will get rewarded but the distribution will flow throw the DST and DCT

BBOB, My bet is it will go up. This is oversold and should go up fast.
I decided to make more $$$ today:
My bet is COOP will close above $45. by July expiration date. I sold to open 50 Contracts which equals 5000 shares and collected $28,000 today cash in account. My risk would be if in July it closes below $39.40
COOP Jul 15 '22 $45 Put
Term: GTC
Price type: Limit at $5.6
Execution price: $5.6 = $28,000
Order quantity: 50
Quantity executed: 50
Lodas, maybe you do not understand how Coop does accounting with their mark to mark but they even stated in last earnings to any rises in interest has a positive effect on earnings. They stated each 1/4 point increase produces an extra 200 million earnings.
As for the interest volume in the 45 and 50 the same hedge funds moving the pps down are also possible selling $50 puts knowing it’s going back up. But any interest increase is a positive for coop in short term.
Lodas, option question. If this take down of coop pops is so insiders and hedge can offer a buyout - what would be best way to play this. Would I be correct writing 3 months out $50 Put which I would collect about $10pps now. If there is a offer for them to take it private IMO it would need to be at least $50 plus. I sold lots of $40 puts but the 3-4 month out $50 have great premium. How would you play it to maximize this possibility as I also feel coop should quickly move up over $50 in next 3 months?
BBOB, I agree possible news after hour
Justice, I see most gaps filled and we should start seeing a nice return up. I do feel 1st quarter earnings should be positive and my guess is those short - manipulated the pps down to cover.
What I did today when pps was below $42.
I sold to open May $40 PUT option and collected $1.75 per share or $8,750 cash in my account today. If assigned which I do not feel will happen my cost would be $38.25 - that's how you make money when your stock is under selling pressure.
COOP May 20 '22 $40 Put
Term: GTC
Price type: Limit at $1.75
Execution price: $1.75
Quantity: 50
t1215s, one important point about Options - is Time value and decay.
Theta is part of the Option Greeks alphabet
If you sell to open ether a Call or PUT option, you have Theta or Time decay working on your side. It is why I always Sell first with 45 days to expiration date being the sweet point I normally look 1.5 to 3 months out but the more time to more value you get. I normally wait till close to expiration date to Buy to Close my position back or let it expirer if that works best. I love doing Sell to Open Puts if I feel comfortable that the pps should close above your strike price at expiration date. Why buy a stock when you can get more value Selling to open a PUT. Example today I did this trade an out of the money STO PUT.
Update: The only negative with Selling to open is you must have cash or margin value in your account to cover buying it back if exercised against you.
Security: COOP Sep 16 '22 $50 Put
Term: Day
Price type: Limit at $6.8
Execution price: $6.8
Quantity: 50 note: This controls 5000 shares and I collected $34,000 today!
If you Buy to open, you have Theta or Time Decay working against you.
Theta gauges the time value of an option. Theta defines the loss in value an option will experience as time passes, and it's usually expressed on a per-day basis. Buying premium will result in a negative theta, because time is working against you, while selling premium involves a positive theta, since the passage of time works in your favor.
So, a long option with a theta of -0.10 will lose about 10 cents per day in value, assuming the stock price and volatility are constant. Theta is non-linear, because it accelerates as the option gets closer to expiration. This rate of decay is proportional to the square root of the time remaining before expiration.
When one sells to open PUT option it is an optimistic play that you feel the current COOP pps is oversold and will go up above your strike price on option expiration date.
COOP = fundamentals & technical = https://finviz.com/quote.ashx?t=COOP
IMO, COOP is oversold, or insiders have sold knowing a dividend will adjust the pps down after dividend.
P/E = 2.76
EPS = $16.46
EPS next year = +418%
Target Price 59.14
I have had a great day and making $$$$$$$$$$$
Security: COOP Sep 16 '22 $50 Put
Term: Day
Price type: Limit at $6.8
Execution price: $6.8
Quantity: 50
Net amount cash today = $34,000
Also today
Security: COOP Jul 15 '22 $40 Put
Term: Day
Price type: Limit at $1.5
Execution price: $1.5
Quantity: 100
Net amount cash today = $15,000
I always sell first and use time decay to buy to close. I like working within 60-90 day as I feel going over a year out may not give best bank for your buck. I preferer to sell PUT options but you must have reserves needed to write those, but if you feel COOP is undervalued then to me it's like free money.
Lodas, RE: OPTIONS yes, I have done many STO PUT options which I love these two just today put $45,500 cash in my account today.
Security: COOP Jul 15 '22 $50 Put

Yes, the Escrows that the WMI-LT held are worthless but not the Assets that were put into the DST - those assets were bankrupt remote or in legal isolation. If you would do some of your own DD instead of posting sh?t every day maybe, you would learn something. It is most likely you never held and old WMIH or did not sign the release.
If you look at all the subs I listed many were merged out and into new sub holding such as this one.

Lodas, there is now why with all the work that Chad and Doreen did to reactivate old WMI subs and creating this PALADIN ACQUISITIONS COMPANY LLC with all their work being paid by the Estate will NOT COME BACK TO BENIFIT ESTATE HOLDERS!
Yes, all their work and these reactivate subs will someday show up as subs connected to WMIH-Corp and ether with new issued shares or some form of payment to old escrow holders will benefit from their work!
lodas - You keep posting about some email supposable from Doreen please answer this question??????
Now that Chad Smith and Doreen have wrapping up their Ministerial details. Why did those two reactivate so many old subs of WMI and created PALADIN ACQUISITIONS COMPANY LLC - who will benefit with these changes?

My bet is the pps of COOP will move back up. I just sold to open May $50 PUT option on 50 contract and collected 25,500 today. I also did the same with $45.00 put and collected $2.10 today per share on 50 contracts.
Today is end of 1st. quarter earnings and end date for Chad Smith and Doreen wrapping up their Ministerial details. We are seeing a very low volume take down, so I am not expecting COOP to go down much further.
I feel an 8K coming after trading that will spell out possible 2.5 forward stock split.

Petewamu, thanks for all your DD info RE: A01 when COOP had last investor relations manager, he helped me log into investor sight as I stated I was a large investor and wanted to look at the servicing of these loans I invested into.
I found many pages of these A01 coded loans that Mr. Cooper was servicing. When I asked him who was the owner of all these A01 coded loans he did not know. So I asked him if he could get that info from J Bray or CFO.
The next week I found out he was let go and they closed my access to that investor log in. So at one time Mr. Cooper was servicing many of these A01 coded loans - I feel they still are. I also found A02 coded servicing loans.
IMO
I wrote or Sold to open $35 PUT 50 Jan 22 contracts collected $1.90
I also Sold to open $40 July 50 contracts and collected $1.45
I feel both of these will leave me in the money as COOP should be trading above those two Strike prices on expiration date. It is easy cash flow money today!
When you sell a PUT contract you believe COOP will trade above those prices you also must have reserve cash in your account if it is exercised below those strike prices. I also have time decay working on my side and will most likely buy to close both at Hugh profit.
JWW - Also WMIH-Corp is still operating and true parent
Also why all these reactivated subs of WMI?????

Seems to be a possible sub of WMIH-Corp or tied into a new company being formed for benefit of the Estate holders. To me it is clear with all the names connected such as Charles Smith that this could be a new company set up to have other Old subs of WMI that have been reactivated – all with Charels Smith as acting director.
I notied they had a small fund raising of 2.4 million which is small and it show 18 investor. https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1876566/000187656621000001/xslFormDX01/primary_doc.xml
Do you also see this company was formed for the benefit of Estate holders?
IMO
mordicai, do you have a link of that 10-K report? Is it the one for For the fiscal year ended December 31, 2013? I would like to find what page that info is on as I am writing a letter to COOP management along with cc to SEC about what I feel is misinformation in that report.
Split T I sold both the Feb. 50 & 55 Covered calls collecting nice premium. It looks to me there is too much buying pressure and tomorrow at option expiration they will keep the pps above 50 to force all that had a STO order to sell at $50.
Now I do have a low order to BTC - buy to close but do not feel it will come down to it. I will have 30 contracts or 3000 shares Call end of day tomorrow. My game plan will then be on Monday I will Sell to Open the March 18th $50. PUT option and should collect about $1.50 premium.
I have lots of COOP, so I am using options to collect a monthly dividend.
The way to play is always Sell first collect your premium then let time decay work on your side and then on expiration date BTC- buy to close at good profit if it does not work and it is called, I work the PUT side to play it back.
Yes, I was also hoping for more meat in 10-K but appears to be no ties to WMIH Estate assets being owned by COOP.
I DO FEEL THE ASSETS ARE STILL UNDER MANEGMENT BY CHARLES SMITH AND DOREEN LOGAN DOING their final MINISTERIAL DETAILS through and including 3/31/2022 but could end before 3/31/2022 WHICH ARE ALSO UNDER CONTROL IN A Delaware Statutory Trust HELD FOR THE BENIFICIAL HOLDERS OF WMIH ESTATE HOLDER.
I FEEL MOST OF OUR ASSETS MAY END UP UNDER = "PALADIN ACQUISITIONS CORPORATION" WE HAVE WITNEST MANY OLD SUBS THAT HAVE BEEN MOVED TO ACTIVE STATUS AND ALL LIST CHARELES SMITH AS ACTING CEO – IMO those will all get incorporated within "PALADIN ACQUISITIONS CORPORATION" and we will get new shares as owners of the estate. Also feel WMIH- Corp will reemerge as parent over "PALADIN ACQUISITIONS CORPORATION"
Still confused about the retained earnings that was reported and how and who has control but most likely under the control of are two remaining administer.
NOTES FROM 10-K Mr. Cooper Group Inc. - 2021 Annual Report on Form 10-K
Mr. Cooper Group Inc. (Exact name of registrant as specified in its charter)
So far I see no reference to WMIH-Corp as the holding company - Prior to October 10, 2018, Company’s common stock traded under the ticker symbol “WMIH”. I also see no reference that COOP is holding any WMIH Estate assets, or any other assets within the consolidated balance sheets.
- Number of shares of common stock, $0.01 par value, outstanding as of February 10, 2022 was 73,776,900.
- As of December 31, 2021, the aggregate principal amount of our unsecured senior notes was $2,700 million.
- We may not be able to fully utilize our net operating loss (“NOL”) and other tax carry forwards
- As of December 31, 2021, we had U.S. federal NOLs of approximately $609million, of which $460 million were not subject to limitation under Section 382 of the United States Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended (the “Code”). Our ability to utilize NOLs and other tax carry forwards to reduce taxable income in future years could be limited for various reasons, including if projected future taxable income is insufficient to recognize the full benefit of such NOL carry forwards
- Dividends We have not declared or paid cash dividends on our common stock, and we currently do not expect to declare or pay any cash dividends in the foreseeable future
- In July 2021, our Board of Directors authorized the repurchase of up to $500 million of our outstanding common stock. In December 2021, our Board of Directors authorized the repurchase of up to $200 million of its outstanding common stock.
- Our authorized capital stock consists of 300,000,000 shares of Common Stock, par value $0.01 per share, and 10,000,000shares of preferred stock, par value $0.01 per share. Our Board of Directors may establish the rights and preferences of the preferred stock from time to time. As of February 10, 2022, 73,776,900 shares of our Common Stock were issued and outstanding and no shares of our Preferred Stock were issued or outstanding.
- Subsidiaries of Registrant Subsidiaries Jurisdiction of Organization Nationstar Mortgage Holdings Inc. Delaware Nationstar Sub1 LLC Delaware Nationstar Mortgage LLC Delaware
My take on this 10-K is there appears to be no ties to WMIH Estate assets being owned by COOP.
I DO FEEL THE ASSETS ARE STILL UNDER MANEGMENT BY CHARLES SMITH AND DOREEN LOGAN DOING AND are administering final MINISTERIAL DETAILS through and including 3/31/2022 but could end before 3/31/2022 WHICH ARE ALSO UNDER CONTROL IN A Delaware Statutory Trust HELD FOR THE BENIFICIAL HOLDERS OF wmih ESTATE HOLDER.
Just my opinion!
