How do folks here summarize the shareholder call today?
I was hoping for a little more concrete, this is when we hope to sign a contract with so and so type of an answer but understand why we didn't.
Thanks for sharing this. If Loop is a part of making this happen then this is HUGE!
Lol. Definitely not a guru on blockchain by no means. I don't even know why I chose that handle to begin with.
But Ezzra, thanks so much for sharing your insight. I really appreciate the information you share on this forum. Have been reading your thoughts for a while now on Loop. Thanks again.
Does anyone have a sense of when we can hear about the completion of these pilots? We really need at least one contract from these pilots for this to snowball.
Looks like High point Advisory Group that manages $ 2.2 billion in funds took a position in RSCF in q4 2020.

Same here..I've reached out to their IR multiple times via email without a response.
I wish I knew what to say if I called them up. @wickerman has the skillset there :)
Thanks for taking the initiative on this @wickerman. Really appreciate your updates after your convos with RSCF.
Does anyone know why someone would sell 60K of their shares at 0.64 after hours when the bid was at .78?
Trying to wrap my head around what just happened.
I am speculating here (more on the optimistic side), thinking that they are ripe for acquisition (have the intellectual property, have designed and developed the freezers but just need a large enough entity to manufacture, market and sell these freezers) and are currently in talks about being acquired by a bigger fish?
Does anyone know what Kim Boyce actually said and what was then circulated (or taken out of context)?
@wickerman, thank you so much! I really appreciate you taking the initiative in calling them and sharing that info here.
Lets hope some big news is on its way. GLTA!
@wickerman, I might have missed this, were you able to glean any information from IR on them up listing anytime soon?
Yeah I agree. I feel that they are playing it by the book and making sure that don't disclose anything that could materially influence the stock price.
Let's just hope that behind the silence they are working on fulfilling some big contracts and that the next PR will reflect that.
This is what I received on Dec 18th when I inquired about potential contracts:
"Dear Shareholder,
Thank you for your inquiry. The following information may help answer any questions you may have about Reflect Scientific Inc.
Purchase contracts, product use, and product configuration are considered by many of our customers as a strategic asset or trade secret. Reflect Scientific does not disclose this information to the public unless express permission is granted. However, at times, Reflect will provide general information concerning products and sales via press releases and social media.
Reflect Scientific is moving forward with innovative low-temperature refrigeration/freezer storage and transportation solutions. We invite you to follow us on Twitter @ReflectSci or Linkedin.
Thank you for your interest in Reflect Scientific.

Investor Relations"
100% agree. I cannot imagine them not having any business from the cold chain requirements for the vaccine distribution. So I would think that the next PR that comes out will talk more about the deals have have been signed on that front. That in of itself should send this over a dollar easily.
Added to that the exposure that RSCF has gotten this year will invariably have them placed in a good position to grow further. Holding on to my small position and adding along the way, until then. GLTA!
Looks like a neutral-ish PR. I wish they'd had something in regards to a contract with the govt of sorts. Lets see how this PR moves the ticker today.
I think situation that we are in is that the last PR was lukewarm at best. All they said was that they are waiting on decisions from FEMA, OWS etc. Had that PR been on the positive side we would've seen this fly.
Now without any news this is either a technical play (RSI, BB, MACD etc..) or big time speculation at best.
We desperately need good news for big movement in the right direction.
Lol. Yeah I agree. I hope this author means 500 million vials and Not freezers.
Otherwise I’ want in on whatever he/she is smoking.
For sure. Yeah I don't have any experience in any acquisitions and so good to know what is possible.
The value is certainly there so its just a matter of time IMHO that the price will shoot through the roof.
That would be sweet!! Thanks @tigermoney.
Can someone help me understand what a "get bought" scenario would mean?
I agree that they have said so. But some details would be opportune right now.
“Reflect Scientific is now working with organizations such as the governments’ Operation Warp Speed and air carriers that have the expertise to utilize this storage system for specific customized applications”
How are they working with the government? Has the govt agreed to use their freezers? Organizations such as OWS? who are these organizations if its not OWS? Air carriers? What carriers? Specifics are needed.
A contract or a more specific PR is what would drive this to multi dollar territory IMHO.
I agree. If they had the foresight and prepared all the inventory as soon as this pandemic began then they can meet the moment here.
Also, looks like Utah as a state is very strategic to cold chain supply. https://www.ksl.com/article/50059421/why-utah-is-a-key-link-in-the-cold-chain-for-the-wests-covid-19-vaccine-delivery
Not sure if this has any bearing on the profitability of RSCF but they are headquartered in Utah as well.
In addition to Cryo freezers RSCF manufactures vials - https://www.reflectscientific.com/product-lines.html
so all in all, I think the upside here is huge!! Just hope that the company has made the necessary arrangements and built strategic partnerships with the states/US Gov/ EU Govs in advance. From the way the patents have been approved, I would guess that they have.
This company has such a superior product. I suspect that their Q4 earnings (and/or a timely news release of a gov contract) is the catalyst that will send this to multi dollar territory.
Total noob here when it comes to mergers & acquisitions.
What would the expectation be if say Pfizer announced the acquisition of Reflect Scientific?
Kim Boyce, CEO, President at Reflect Scientific, Inc., told gasworld, “The Cryometrix S 90 shipper provides bio-pharma companies with an alternate to using dry ice for managing temperature sensitive product shipments. Liquid nitrogen is passed through an indirect heat exchanger in a closed system that prevents any contact of the payload with a cooling medium. The only effluent, after phase change, is a nitrogen gas exhaust. The system utilizes the thermal capacity of liquid nitrogen and provides the user with a capability of short or long duration bulk shipping in combination with a long-term storage capability, if required, once at point of use.”
The skid mounted dewar holds over 200 gallons of liquid nitrogen which is sufficient to keep a payload at minus 80 degrees centigrade for up to 10 days. At this point the dewar can be recharged or connected to a bulk tank to provide extended time at temperature if longer term storage is required.
“It is an ideal solution for freezing, shipping and storing temperature sensitive biological materials like Covid- 19 vaccines,” Boyce added.

Thanks for sharing that information. Clear, to the point and makes perfect sense.
Now the value needs to be communicated to those that are making the purchasing decisions and RSCF needs to be able to produce however many freezers required after the purchase.
Actually, it looks like only - https://www.so-low.com/cryogenic-storage this freezer from the so-low products is based on liquid nitrogen. But is more of a liquid nitrogen tank where temperature cannot be modulated.
All the other products, even the Thermofisher products seem to be compressor based. - https://www.thermofisher.com/us/en/home/life-science/lab-equipment/cold-storage/lab-freezers/ultra-low-temperature-freezers-minus-80.html
But that being said, ThermoFisher is a very well known company so they will definitely have a lot of sway in the decision making of the government. And not sure how big of a disadvantage it is to simply have a ultra-low freezer that is compressor based vs liquid nitrogen based.
RSCF has laid out some pros/cons of their systems against traditional compressor based systems here - https://cryometrix.com/product-t160
The patents are for (as far as I understand) the liquid nitrogen technology.
Most refrigerators use the traditional compression cycle with a coolant (exactly like how we have the refrigerators at home), which are energy intensive and dissipate all the heat from inside of the fridge outdoors.
If you stand behind your fridge the coil is where you will sense the heat that is extracted from the fridge. This is a very inefficient process and the temperature cannot be modulated incredibly precisely.
Reflect scientific has patented technology that does not require the traditional compression cycle and does the cooling and maintaining of temperature using liquid nitrogen instead.
LOL I just sent the PR release to major news networks as a news tip. A shot in the dark but hey if that gets the word out then its worth it.
Agreed. It seems like there has been news on every other cold storage company but Reflect Scientific.
I think we need to write to news organizations sharing the latest PR release that came about yesterday.
Absolutely. I think the upside here is huge.
As per their blog (https://cryometrix.com/blog):
"CE Mark Approval 6/17/2019
Cryometrix is proud to announce that the B-90 Blast/Thaw Freezer, the T-90 Storage Freezer, and the T-160 ULT Freezer have all received CE Mark approval. This is a significant step for these products and one that will be utilized to the fullest. We are excited to bring our revolutionary Cryometrix Liquid Nitrogen Technology to Europe.
Cryometrix freezers utilize liquid nitrogen (LN2) to rapidly freeze, enabling the world’s fastest liquid nitrogen blast freezer (20 °C to -90 °C in 7 minutes) and the world’s most convenient ultralow freezer (-160 °C in under two hours with zero LN2 exposure to product). Our liquid nitrogen freezers are powerfully effective!
CE Mark approval is required for any product being sold/imported within European Union member countries. It includes rigorous testing to ensure the safety of those using the product as well as all those in the vicinity of the product. We look forward to serving the European community with our array of freezers in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and blood bank industries.
While CE Mark approval is not required for sale within the United States and to many other countries, it gives added confidence in the safety and performance of Cryometrix Freezers. Many companies (including some of our current customers) have facilities worldwide. Gaining CE Mark approval enables these companies to implement the same technology and manufacturing procedures across the globe, no matter where they are. See sample Declarations of Conformity for the B-90, T-90, and T-160."
I suspect a lot lot lot more judging on the basis of what the competitors' market cap is at.
Second, if Operation Warp Speed is indeed implementing their freezers, then I suspect there is a huge international play as well. Don't they have a CE stamp in Europe for their freezers as well?
If RSCF does everything right I don't see any reason why this stock won't fly like the therma stock that we were talking about yesterday.
Yes, but storage is an issue. Dry ice needs to be replaced periodically. Which brings risk and uncertainty. If I was looking to mitigate risk, I would do away with dry ice and go with temperature controlled freezers to begin with.
That being said, any new product (like these freezers) bring with it, its own risk profile. Primarily because it isn't widely used and relatively untested in the field.
No positive movement on this stock after the earnings call. In fact, the stock went lower. Any idea what might be happening folks?
Hi @swampboots,
Muchas gracias! Makes perfect sense. I am thinking the same thing. Their latest Q3 earnings shows that their fixed costs are increasing proportionally with their profits. The pie is getting bigger but they haven't seemed to have figured out how to utilize economies of scale yet. Most likely because they aren't "manufacturing" the products themselves.
Nevertheless I am holding on to them for now, got in at 5c and increased my position at 25c a week ago (of which I am kicking myself now). But yeah the upside with RSCF seems much larger than the downside for me to risk a little capital.
Thanks again for your response and sharing your opinion. Cheers mate.
@swampboots I don't quite understand what you mean here. Can you help newbies like myself understand by elaborating a little?
