Come on folks. How will I be able to tell who's telling the truth if everyone is typing in bold caps?
Is that sort of like the Soggy Bottom Boys but not as good?
MYANTIS AND $ONCI TO DA MOON!!!
There's .08 :)
Sell before then lol
0.78 is pretty thick for now.
Going to be an interesting close here.
Right, well my guess is that we won't be green at EOD. And not only that, I think it's going to crumble Monday. All imo.
So about that bounce.. Was that for today or sometime this year?
Reminds me of that old Salt-n-Pepa song "PUMP UP the jam".
Legalization has been the Fed's plan all along imo. It's pretty obvious to me that it's their plan to stop the opioid problem. I've seen 1st hand opioid's no longer given to patients after years of prescribed use. And instead offered help to secure legal, medical marijuana. Add to that all the political noise about it. Heck, even the news sees the issue as beating a dead horse now. And to add even more fuel to the "fire" we have emails from the Koch Brothers threatening to stop the flow of $$ to the entire party (iirc?) https://www.potnetwork.com/news/encouraged-koch-brothers-more-republicans-support-legalizing-marijuana ? It's a question of when folks. GL today wherever your money is!!
I wouldn't have thought it but are we closing over .02 today??
I personally don't see it. Not without some kind of damaging Co or Industry news anyway. But I see it broke the bottom of the daily Ichimoku this morning so..??
Edit to add:
I think we're either near the bottom or I'm about to loose a bunch of money.
Here's my thought. And I've been in for +30 days so take it for what it's worth. Things were going just fine until Jeff Sessions opened his trap on 1/4/2018. Check the charts and the news that day. This is a solid buy for me. The Co has great forward momentum in the industry and today's news just proves it even more. Want to see something else about the charts here? Compare PHOT charts to MSRT. It's the industry niche we're in that's down. And that's from people waiting to be told once and for all what's legal or not. with Medical Cannabis (IMO) being the Fed. Gov's. only play to stop the opioid epidemic, it's not going to be long. Also worth noting, the MJX and the HMLSF are both up again. Finally.
The fact that Growlife HP Soil beat out names like "Fox Farm" and "Kind Soil" speaks volumes. In an industry like this where quality can make or break an entire harvest, you don't take chances. You can bet this was tested heavily before it went full scale in a grow that large.
Also more oxygen @ the roots. People use fabric pots for that reason.
You don't reuse soil in this situation. To much risk for disease, fungus, etc.
Might be closer to 2-3 months. Most strains flower for about 8 weeks (+/-). If they take big clones they may not even spend time in veg. Meaning the crop could rotate every 8 weeks. Big grows don't start from seed every cycle.
If Trump says anything pro cannabis tonight this will go nuts just like the rest of the industry. I'll watch till the end of Feb for the initial runs of the CBD extractor to truly set my own values long term. Any negative pot stock statements made tonight or even moving forward will cripple the U.S. based cannabis industry. IMO cannabis will eventually be downgraded from sched. 1 and will be left to the states/towns just like alcohol is. It's much more a question of when. But I see it coming soon enough. Until then however these are all open to some extreme volatility. And honestly, that's really why we're here right ;) ?
Or, You were paid to pump a Co. and they turned on you. Did you ever get paid? Now you're bitter and your image here has taken a knock. Would be a justified move to talk poop about them after that. Not saying that's the case, just saying.
Just FLEW past its 52-week high lol
Let it twitch here at the bottom. It's like a cat wiggling its butt before it jumps!
If this breaks .0189 just stand back and watch your toes while it falls. I don't think it will though. .019 was it for today imo. Well baring any crap news anyway.
Well we just hit .019 which is a 38.2% Retracement From it's 52 Week Low. Would be a nice turning point.
Almost half of Fridays volume in the 1st 30 mins. It's looking for it's bottom.
Doesn't really matter if $PHOT sells marijuana or not. This change affects the industry as a whole because of the uncertainty and fear it's created. $PHOT sells grow equipment right? Theoretically it's now much riskier to grow your own marijuana even if you live in Co or CA where it's "legal". That's just 1 way $PHOT could be affected. With that said, my avg is .0144 and I have no intentions of selling here.
Ignorance, fear, and personal agendas are doing this. Can you imagine how easy it would be for Phillip-Morris for example to switch from tobacco to marijuana? Not even completely switch, just say 10%. This isn't about money, not in that sense anyway.
That's exactly how it's written. Which now means there's even less understanding on how things will work legally. One prosecutor may be lenient on a case but the next prosecutor on a similar case may follow the book with maximum penalties. That's going to relate to larger risk in the industry as a whole. Our last AG wasn't hell bent on punishing marijuana users/patients, but this on is. Prosecutors won't be any different.
The next step will be Congress rescheduling marijuana from class 1. It's the only thing the DOJ has said they would honor.
Unreal, he rescinded it.

edit: words
This is gonna be touchy until we hear Jeff Sessions lips flapping. What he says today could destroy the entire sector. Get the antiques out of Washington!
.05 on the next run.
I'm really amazed how quiet this board has been. Up +30% in the last 30 days. And news like we've been getting too? Good luck everyone.
Holy crap, I just saw that! My darn account is all tied up this morning. Hoping I can shift funds fast enough to get in. GL
Yea, that's why I decided to shed some shares. I needed to avg. down on another stock and I'm comfortable that I have a few days to spare here.
I wanted to add to my last comment (message_id=136220970.) I've been in MJNA for a few weeks now with 10K shares. I cut that in half today to 5K shares. I've looked through the past financials and previous forward looking statements and I do like this company. I feel it has a healthy future in the marijuana/cannabis industry if it can iron out it's financials. Sadly I don't expect to see the earnings report till the end of the month. Hence my shares being sold for now.
MJNA is focused on CBD products. And right now that couldn't be a better thing. This article First to Address the United Nations About CBD is so significant and so important that I don't think everyone understands quite how big it is. With things like "First Company to have Cannabis Products Subsidized by Mexican Government", "First to Provide Access to Medical Cannabis Products in Paraguay", "First to Bring Medical Cannabis Products to Mexico", "First to Offer Government-subsidized Botanical Cannabis-based Products", "First to Deliver Prescription CBD Products to Epilepsy, Alzheimer’s Disease, Parkinson’s Disease, Chronic Pain, and Migraine Sufferers", "First to Introduce Medical Cannabis Products to Puerto Rico", "First to Introduce Legal Medical Cannabis Products to Brazil", "First with a License to Commercialize the U.S. National Institutes of Health Patent “Cannabinoids as Antioxidants and Neuroprotectants.”", and so on, all being huge in their own moments. This Co. has a massive foothold in the future of cannabis world wide.
CBD in it and of itself has medically proven benefits. However it is only 1 chemical (a non-psychoactive cannabinoid) from a cannabis plant. We haven't been legally able to research anything from the marijuana plants for medical purposes (few exceptions) since the Marijuana Tax Act of 1937". And once it was determined that this act was unconstitutional it was replaced with the Controlled Substances Act in 1970. To be clear here marijuana is illegal excluding it's stalks, seeds, and oils derived from these. It's the leaves, flowers, and THC (a different cannabinoid that is psychoactive) specifically that's illegal.
Now lets read into that for a second. With few exceptions it's remained illegal since the late 30's to do research on marijuana in the U.S.. But with changes being made now we're finally getting back into the game. The U.S. Government has finally started to sway towards a positive future for cannabis in the U.S. with things like "So far, researchers haven't conducted enough large-scale clinical trials that show that the benefits of the marijuana plant (as opposed to its cannabinoid ingredients) outweigh its risks in patients it's meant to treat." and "Some preliminary studies have suggested that medical marijuana legalization might be associated with decreased prescription opioid use and overdose deaths, but researchers don't have enough evidence yet to confirm this finding." being spoken about. This last quote became significantly more important in the U.S. when the Trump administration called for a war on opioid abuse. Try getting a prescription for opioid pain meds today.. For now the U.S. medical industry will be using acetaminophen and NSAID combinations in place of opioids on a massive scale. But once cannabis gets a foothold in the U.S. legally under federal law, I do feel that it will become somewhat of the new norm.
With all that said however, much of it only pertains to the U.S.
MJNA has a huge international presence where they've been doing business now for years. This is why it's so important to remember that they recently spoke to the U.N. "80. The Board notes with serious concern the ongoing move towards the legalization of cannabis for non-medical purposes in some parts of the United States of America and, in particular, the outcomes of recent allot initiatives that took place in the states of Colorado and Washington in November 2012." This statement from the last U.N. report paints a clear picture of it's current stance on legalization. But more over seems to still mirror the views of many lawmakers and world leaders. And I'm sad to say much of this is due to cultural opinions and decades old biases that were agenda driven with little to no substantiation.
The waste product of growing cannabis for CBD is itself a profitable commodity, hemp. A renewable resource that can be used to produce various textiles, health, and beauty products. "On an annual basis, 1 acre of hemp will produce as much fiber as 2 to 3 acres of cotton. Hemp fiber is stronger and softer than cotton, lasts twice as long as cotton, and will not mildew." Ladies and gentlemen I could go on here but I think you can see where I'm going.
TL:DR
The potential in this industry is very honestly and IMO as big as the major pharma Co's. like, Abbvie or Allergan. Lets just see what happens when opioid prescriptions plummet and world leaders start acknowledging the help cannabis/marijuana offer. This was as much about my thoughts on the industry as a whole as it was on MJNA.
Absolutely correct. I'm a medical patient in a very strict state. I've personally had an attorney refuse to work on a case because of it. Not that it was something she was against but her experience in the court system. I asked why she refused the case and she basically said that with it still against Federal law that she often sees judges rule in favor of the fed rather than the state with certain types of cases. The bias even towards a med patient in a super strict med legal state is wicked. I'm legally able to buy, transport, and medicate with medical marijuana. I'm also able to be legally fired if it's in my system. Which can be found in urine tests up to a month later. Jeff Sessions should not be the AG, that's for darn sure.
Think about this. According to the Fed., marijuana is sched. 1 same as heroin. Do you think we'd be trading stocks for heroin production and distribution companies that were operating illegally? We need to cycle the older generation out of Washington. With that, these types of orchastrated biases will disappear.
TL;DR The biggest hurdles for any marijuana Co. today is legality within the Federal Govt. Once that changes hold on to your hats!
Thoughts on whether or not the financials are going to do much for this? I don't think it's going to do much for movement. Not yet.
Still Federally illegal. And Jeff Sessions is very against it. Gotta flush the age out of government before it's taken from the Sched. 1 list.
"Feds green light" is a bit of a stretch imo.
