wtaf is going on?
that word salad announcement 1st July? was there something released today?
why tanking?
what failed?
arhghhghghhghghgh this same old same old bs
ffs
really, really is this it
11 yrs
up and down mostly down
rock bottom down
can't believe it and i hung on so long
really do they have nothing?
great positivity but i did not read it that way
i read that the partners are frustrated - and that the continuation of the demo is not secure
please enlighten me as to the grounds of you perspective
wow seeing an idea floating around that they are being falsely negative to drop the price and buy up before good news? really... come on... wasn't it low enough ffs
again, could it be that they have inadvertantly come up with some other energy device... applying AOT field to crude creates energy - can that energy be harvested, could it create a closed system whereby running AOT was not costing anything in energy and actually creates energy?
could it mean that w x amount of crude oil in a closed loop there was a generator that is no burning fuel but simply activating translating energy from one source through a medium into another source? light vibration into electricity - how long could that work on same crude oil, or does it need to be flow through... very interesting wonder if any of the muppets at qsep have thought about it
what do they mean a surge... to me that means too much energy that blows the safety out, shuts things down...
thoughts?
exactly
is it because they have never actually done any real site testing that they never saw this before
i had a thought... what if they have inadvertantly discovered the real beauty of their tech - not to reduce chemical additives for viscosity but as a generator of sorts... is the surge catchable?
that had to be the worst ever update, i feel no faith with them right now, gutted to see this share price, compared to this time last year, when hope was returning after so many years, to be hopes dashed again, well... really i give up...
if only i was not tied in 2013 and had managed to get out then - wow what a tough lesson to learn - it doesn't seem like they will get their sht together - how could they waste this opportunity... it says a lot that the demo site are growing frustrated with them... this is the killer statement in the mix...
i just don't know what to say i can barely muster energy to care about qsep anymore
exactly
jeez what a day
what is going on?
has there been a disappointing update?
return to old design
i dont think i can take much more of this
Thanks for interjecting a little optimism in this bleak moment... I think we are all feeling how excited we were this time last year and feel somewhat deflated and less inclined to be so excited this time around... but as you say, it's all moving along somewhat positively....
We just need some solid news and some solid share price activity, the sooner the better. 2020 is a time to get it done already.
great - and today's release confirms that...
lets see how it goes now!
Great, and great that they are promising to have interim and more frequent updates on the website...
With these upgrades in design, they will need to have new data on the power efficiency - with affects the overall viablity
So we are back where we were at the beginning of the year, after raising hopes and dashing them, losing faith and being bored to death with silence and delays...
Lets hope it gets interesting from here on in
Good luck to all
that was an update from May!!! So nothing specifically happening now, where is this info about the NEWLY DESIGNED power supply being en route to demo site?
will we see an update this year or will this drag out, and fumble at these low stock prices, til Jan... hopefully not much longer!!
anyone with Schwab? do they trade these 'pink' OTC sheets? still can't get my shares into a brokerage to trade them even if I wanted to... td ameritrade plain lied, created account specifically for QSEP and then in the share transfer they refused!!!!
what to do?
what's happening, I'm totally out of the loop... explain
I'm missing something here, who's Chris?
lets hope so!
thanks... ok, so now we're supposedly back in business after an interminable pause... so mid dec we ought to have something, it's too soon now to comment...
is it me or could they do some one liner updates, x completed, being delivered, etc etc... would be nice to know we are on schedule...
You're right, they can't give us any more excuses... it would be super lame, and the share prices is lame enough...
Hopefully then we begin 2020 rocking...
Ah Smile, you are so optimistic, it's good to pop in after a long break and see your keeping our spirits up against all odds...
I have to admit I feel somewhat lack lustre about it all...
Is it Nov this week, wasn't there meant to be some news in? I can't keep up with the changes in deliverables...
So can someone update me, what are we waiting for?
Yeah it's super weird that this Eric B guy keeps loading in when it seems like a doozy... wonder what realy is going on... wonder if we will ever know...
So is this all on sleep mode for another quarter, another year, 10 years? LOL... yes i have been here for 10 years and it's been up and down and then hopped but crashed... and now seems to be floundering...
We started the year so hopeful, definitely feeling hopes dashed and wonder how this might turn around... it doesn't feel like much traction to do so...
All we got is Eric investing as a sign of hope?
interesting...
still overall, that's not a lot of money he's outlayed, so... mmm
lets hope alls well
and lets hope the timing is speeding up
i'm not a fan of the word hope... maybe being a QSEP sharehold has forced me to learn how to live with it... but, i want faith faith in this company and this investment
can't do that forever though can they?
who's buying now?
i really don't know what to think anymore!
deep sigh
yes, this has been going on for years
they say a lot without saying anything...
it's very vague
i've been stuck with this for 10 yrs different exit points were obscured for some reason, and I'd like to think it was for a good reason... but now I am itching for a change, bored of this...
lol
yes it's quite fundamental to the offering is it not - if they haven't go the power issue resolved then their power requirement estimation goes out of the window, and then the viabliity comes into question...
so this is no small thing
it's all about energy...
EXACTLY!!
I was right there with you back then re the power thing when that came up, and yes, if they are super close, why hasn't there been more buy ins keeping the stock prices up, they have been out there more than usual now, and it seems on the brink, but clearly, something is not quite right and investors are feeling that... waiting to jump in later down the line? or that it will never happen...
mmm
this resonates with my feeling, nothing is new, the problem isn't new, nothing is actually different...
it works but it's not consistent or reliable, it works for a second effectively, so technically it works, but they do not have a viable product or service?
i'm struggling to get my head around it and that annoys me as we should be so informed that reading between the lines or seeking to uncover the lies is not a consideration
Yes that was the "good" line from the statement.
So does this mean they never got any other data from sites before? I was under the impression they had... In that case, wasn't that reported back some years ago, so then, what's new? And what's old... me I'm getting old lol... actually I'm only 50 but these 10plus years have been.... interesting!
But, I would like a little more detail... what lab results are confirmed on site? If the power is insufficient then surely that has an impact on the results? We are talking about a field making device that reduces viscosity for a period of time, and for this to be commercially viable, then it would need to work for x and for y time that makes leaving chemical methods a no brainer option...
lets see that data... even if it's insufficient, it's worth seeing if it's all good, the only reason to keep that data is if it's not good, or could be construed at not good... but then withholding on it has the same effect on the share price, value of the company and regard of the company...
so it's an intriguing play they got going on... I would like to see it done differently, and so, it pains me to say I don't feel this management can pull it off... they are dropping the ball too much... it's surely not that complicated, I'm an architectural designer and done my fair share of project management, involving all sorts of professional consultants, engineers etc to manufacture a building, and other unique elements, I know about r&d design, functionality... who's the project manager of the AOT demo instalation? Power issues would have been top of my list given the history...
so AOT works, but is it viable and can the team get it together to bring it to the marketplace as a commercially viable option?
I really hope it doesn't go there, but if it's going there for a moment and then getting way up into full dollars, at least 3 then ok...
I feel like you, totally disheartened in management, I expect better. I've been in this for over 10yrs now, at the beginning of 2013 I wanted out but couldn't do it, so I'm hoping for at least that type of recovery... I'll just sit that out til then I guess, unless it's like 6months plus a year and still failling about... I'd rather invest elsewhere and feel better...
I am surprised that I feel this way but this was their last hope for me, and they seem to have fudged it... I thought they had it together finally, but it's the same old, and really what have they been doing all these years if they haven't been working on making it work commercially???
it seems that it could be another 3 years of them working it out commercially before they do any business and, frankly I don't have the stomach for any more qsep bs -- they are not ready - and then you have to ask, why, and can they get their s together or not?
so you think it will go that low, and then recover in how long?
IS IT ME OR IS THAT LATEST REPORT BASICALLY REPEATING EXACTLY THE SAME AS THE PREVIOUS ONE?
AND NOW, THINGS ARE COMPLEX?
INTERESTING CHOICE OF WORD...
I READ THIS AND AGAIN I'M ANNOYED THAT THIS DEMO SITE IS ACTUALLY STILL R&D - IT'S NOT A DEMO SITE, IT'S AN R&D SITE... A DEMO SITE IS WHEN YOU SHOWCASE A COMPLETE TECHNOLOGY, BUT IT SEEMS THEY WERE UNPREPARED FOR THE CONDUCTIVITY OF THE CRUDE OIL AT THAT LOCATION - DESPITE PREPARING AN AOT UNIT FOR THAT LOCATION BEFORE THEY INSTALLED IT...
BACK IN THE DAY SOMWHERE ALONG THIS 10 PLUS YEAR JOURNEY, I RECALL THEM DISCOVERING THAT EACH LOCATION, EACH OIL, HAD IT'S OWN PROPERTIES OF ELECTRO MAGNETICS... SO TO MY MIND THEY OUGHT TO KNOW THIS, AND THEY OUGHT TO HAVE PREPARED MORE BEFORE HAND - THE ARCHITECT IN ME,,..
THEN I BEGIN TO DOUBT THE MANAGEMENT FOR THE WAY THEY HANDLED THIS YEAR
EITHER STUPIDITY OR MANIPULATION
EITHER WAY, IT DOESN'T FEEL GOOD
AND, WHAT'S MISSING FROM THIS REPORT REPREAT IS *** how much power does the AOT require??!!!?!?!?!?!?!? this surely is a crucial element in evaluating it's viability
awaiting restoration of my faith in the future of this company
if i could upload the image, it's definitely saying that on his trading ap! hence why i asked...
DELISTED?
I just got a message from a friend shareholder of long standing who is in Australia, showing QSEP delisted?
What does that mean, could it happen?
It does appear to be the case doesn't it... astounding though that is... after all this time!!
I can't quite get my head around it though, the over confidence in setting up a demo site story, installation etc without having this base covered... powering the AOT
Losing faith fast with the share price, this situation and not enough information...
have you been?
I would love a video walk through the office, photos, from the test site, yes to see what the hell is going on - would be reassuring...
this is getting tiring
i think they have handled this whole thing badly and it's really shown them up in a bad light, they had a great opportunity here, how could they mess up like this at this stage after all these years??!
so, anyone able to confirm when I should look back in, next month or October?
Oh geez I feel you...
I have read it and, between the lines, I'm asking myself how the f were they unaware of this stuff before the install, what were they doing before?
So, am I right in thinking that they say they installed a repaired or new unit based on the old design for the power supply, but they already know that it will be insufficient? why the f install it then, it's that a waste of money and time, why even declare it, is it supposed to appease us?
Then they are designing a new unit to handle this super conductive oil, that they didn't assess before they designed the demo unit - this is screaming stupidity - and that will be installed end of august? but then the testing that we were waiting for in Jan, won't happen until the 4th quarter, so October? so a complete f empty dull september? and we are at .14???????
i've been in this too long, not to ride it out, but i surely feel i wish i wasn't watching this f stupid boring same old same old nonsense... how old are these guys? they are like children, that report was pathetic... do they assume we are stupid, well, we might be stupid with money, to an extent to have gambled on them, but we aren't in this 24 hrs - they are, their reputations are on the line and this is what they output?
so all the R&D for years and they are no wiser about how to build the AOT and make it viable?
that's the impression... i fully expect the dissenters to qualify my disappointment etc but I am looking forward to any of you that have some encouragement about this, or are we all on the same page this time?
give me strength so i can have faithinthefuture! with this company...
Brokerage
Why is it that I can buy more QSEP shares with a brokerage but I cannot transfer my shares into my account there?
I've been led a merry dance for the whole year, setting up new account, trying to get docs they asked for, my father's inside leg measurements, the last time I ate pizza, and so forth... QSEP took months to get me what I needed, and now the brokerage say the can't accept them due to 'industry regulations' - I've asked them to be more specific of course...
How the hell is anyone selling these? Not that I am selling now, but I would like to be in a position to do WTF I want with them... Any advice? The company assured me in Nov 2018 that they did accept QSEP - and I have bought more shares via that account with CASH, how can they reason that they won't accept the transfer to account?
Just adds to the pain of being a QSEP shareholder...
Wearily holding on to my profile name. FAITHINTHEFUTURE
That's true... they could inform us without revealing too much, unless, it's critical and they don't have an easy solution?
I will have to re-read the statement. So we are expecting something to happen by mid Aug?
update on investor relations and mike mccullen
well well well after i posted here yesterday, i got an actual email and the documentation i needed that i have been waiting for since early april!!!!!!!!!!!
so, either someone here put in a word for me or, they are on the forum and seeing all this...
interesting...
So who has direct connection with Management/ Investor Relations?
I have been waiting on a reply since April.
I can't remember how many emails I have sent to Mike or the investor relations in this time, only to get no reply from him other than once, and the standard reply from the investor relations email, which is woefully inadequate.
I'm not asking a difficult question, I need some documentation. I NEED IT, and NO ONE IS RESPONDING!!!
I am keeping relatively calm, but I am losing my patience. Anyone got a way to get some actual contact. I am an investor since 2009!
you're entertainingly depressing...
but, logically, it doesn't quite add up does it... spending 1/2 mil to install and create this buzz without more of a leg to stand on... these guys weren't born yesterday, they must know better, and there seems to be some degree of optimism about the potential of this...
i would like a lot more of a picture of how we got to this, as how could this be missed in the project management of this critical step?
so you are no longer invested, but you are here... that I find curious too...
Do we have a detailed explanation for each of these 'power supply' related issues?
I am a bit confused, it was said that the power needed was as much as a boiling kettle? Where is the data on the power requirements and the units, who supplies them etc etc who designs them...
So what we have is a concept of a technology, but we don't have an actual working unit?????? so the previous data we have is based on what? not on site, hence why this is critical... but, it seemed from end of last year and beginning of the this year that they felt they were on top of it all, saying they were taking clients to this demo site etc etc... and getting real time on site data...
with the history of the power issues, why wasn't this a focus?
perhaps it is, but they don't communicate much, it would be good to get a full break down of all the issues and their learning curves, resolutions etc... who are they relying on to design the solution?
do they have a power requirement - what is it - and why is it hard to meet it?
Truly flagging in enthusiasm right now as this does indeed 'feel' same old same old... almost kicking myself for believing we were moving out of this and into good times...
it's taking more effort to feel my profile name these days when I see the share price go below 20...
sigh
if anyone can answer these, i'd appreciate it!
wow thats impressive retrieval of data!
but it only leaves me asking more questions!!!
if the AOT only needs power equivalent to running a kettle... wtf happened?
i already knew that they had encountered needing to create different fields for different oil in a different location - actually this news very much intrigued me back in the day, sort of like ley lines and energy points on the planet all having their own unique frequency...
anyway i digress...
what could be the power issue??????? primary and secondary power not working... for a kettle? with these engineers?
still, as an architectural designer i have encountered some dumb engineers that blew me away designing M & E that was so ridiculous I had to point it out to them... so i know how a bunch of grown men in suits who look like they know something can do stupid things, asleep on the job perhaps...
it's interesting too that someone mentioned this "fake head" term, not one i am familiar with, but guessing from what was said previously that there might be bad news, before the good news... why bother being so manipulative? i would get it if the shares were $15 or so, to cause a dip but they are cheap as chips - whose going to dump out now? well someone did, very curious, and just before this disappointing report...
i don't like this at all
just get on with business ffs
Yes, that's what makes sense in the sentence...
Interesting freudian slip perhaps ARGHHH
what makes you think it's external?
and, then that begs the question how much power does it take to operate an AOT and, does it vary site to site, just as different oil has a different quality needing a different field to effect it?
power issues... could be a big deal
so, I was wrong, I thought they had it together finally and now just putting the show on the road, but actually they are still in R&D
maybe I should change my profile name to bring things into the NOW
LOL... omg this is a long story 2009 -2019 too long for this
you seem to be on it...
so do you/we know how much power does it take to run an AOT
where is that power coming from
what does this statement mean, there's an onsite issue or an internal device issue
this could be fatal couldn't it? if the device is unsustainable in it's power demands, can't imagine that a oil pumping location has 'not enough power'...
power is clearly key...
anyone got some data on this?
what made you ask that question... and what's your feeling now?
How much power does it take to run a unit of AOT and where is that power coming from?
What is the primary power supply? I am trying to work out, do they mean the power supply to the site? Or something within the unit?
Does this mean the person who dumped 300,000 shares knew this news, and that it's not good news - ie the problem is bigger than they are portraying
Is there a spelling error in that -irradicably? = · ble. (i-rad'i-k?-b?l) adj. Impossible to uproot or destroy; ineradicable: irradicable weeds; irradicable prejudices.
This was not the update I wanted to wake up to, but then astrologically it's not surprising!
I feel there is more to this, and I would like more information.
that is interesting...
that actually made my day... as it serves to remind me why I got in in the first place... and validates that this is not a dead horse, it is still worth it because the chemical load in the industry is a problem, not just the use of fossil fuels which, we will be using for some time, even if we are progressing and moving away from it, there's so much that oil is used for, it's hardly going to stop being needed overnight... or even in a couple of decades...
back in 2009, I thought things would have changed a lot more than they have...
if it works, and, I think it must, then this is a move in the right direction
my only concern is, have they got the business side of things together to follow through... ideas are one thing but the execution is another and then maintaining relationships etc and then, someone else will copy it and then, they might be a better business....
so this had better happen, and begin moving, and changing into a business that could do incredibly well...
thanks for cheering me up Smile !
