You are correct. Zeno sec filing spells it out pretty clearly. Basically Zeno appears to have an angel investor funding it for them and biad provides the brains at Mids Med partnership developing it

Haven’t emailed since the mid May email I posted. I try to touch base with him every other month. Zeno issued pr recently. They should be close to some new info. It’s so thinly traded it seems any volume creates a big move one way or the other.

I am not in the lab today but I have just spoken to Dr Djennati on routine
call a few moments ago.

Yes, there has been some delay but we are now very close; there is one
remaining filtering oscillation issue (minor) that is being addressed by
adjustments to an RC circuit. The analogue and digital circuits are
otherwise complete, with all the data acquisition in place. Then we will be
just about ready to progress to testing , and can already see the beads in a
low concentration sample we had previously used, so that's like for like.
It's early days but we appear to have (as of today), at first glance, around
2.5 times the output from that same sample c.f. the old circuit, with far
less noise, and that's even before we put it on batteries in a shielding box
(which will further improve things). So it's looking good technically and we
believe (for confirmation by a third party) that we were actually detecting,
on the previous electronics, far fewer beads than we had previously
calculated, which also appears to be good news.

I apologise for time this is taking but it's not an easy endeavour.

Nothing as yet that we will announce, but we are comfortable, after a recent
third party assessment, that we have achieved an unheard of level of
detection already, i.e. that based on the current detection limit of our
relatively basic set up, and the number of molecules present for a
concentration of 2.5 pg/mL, in theory it is possible to reach the required
sensitivity of a HS-TnI assay.

Not sure what anyone expects tom can do about it. Answer is pretty obvious to me. They have no money to do prs, issue sec filings, update their website, etc. Zeno is issuing prs so any attention will go to them. How many people playing swings of an otc like zeno are digging into their financials and realizing biad is actually majority owner? Not many I would guess. We will be under the radar until we have enough cash to issue prs and get sec filings up to date. I will say this, someone seems to have discovered the real owner because there has been more volume in the last month than there has been in the last year.

The advice we have consistently received is that we will only be able to

Apologies, we are currently refining the electronics (a new master board
ordered today) which has put the testing back a bit. This stage of the R&D
is frustrating (and normal) but initial indications are that we will be able
to do what we believe we can do. Having been burned on expectations, I am
reluctant to put a timescale on testing results but rest assured I am keen
to get them out there as soon as they available.

Makes sense to me. Biad def undervalued based on IP. Don't see how Zenos other IP can be worth anything considering their 10k states they stopped funding it in 2016 and are focused solely on developing Mids. The recent US patent definitely helps to validate the tech for me. I was on the bid all day today but couldn't get any shares.

Sounds like we are solely reliant on the mystery investor. Investor is willing to take shares in lieu of loan repayment if I'm reading correctly so person seems confident.

I emailed Tom Barr a few days ago to ask if Mids is still moving forward and this was his quote

Yes it is. For detection testing purposes we now have a micro fluidic strip with an associated PCB and Hall sensors - the Hybrid strip, which is as close as we can get without going to a full production model. Flow testing appears good. We are currently producing a magnetic jig to suit and will start testing the hybrid strip for its ability to detect assay sized accumulations of nanoparticles shortly.

I used this email and stuck his description of the device into a google search and the Mids med website popped up on first page. Then I did a patent search and saw the patent recently received. Thanks to der kamf for finding Zeno. Would like to know how he came across that since Barr seems pretty tight lipped about everything.
