Appreciate the sentiment, J, and the offer. However, when this finally goes ballistic, insh'Allah, whoever owns more shares pops for dinner [smile]. GLTY and all the rest of the NLST Longs here. Cheers, G
Sounds like you and another popular poster or two here live in rural parts of the country where it certainly is still wonderful. Stay away from the cities and any place with bureaucrats [smile]. Just sayin'...
The Draft is for six years of service. Usually only two active duty and four in the Reserves. In the early days of Nam they were keeping both draftees and enlistees out of necessity till replacements were available -- a common practice in many of our larger overseas forays. There were still decent folks passing laws in those days, quite unaware of the new 'masters of war' for profit that is so well understood in our now 'brave new world' run by global banking cartels (WEF). This was well before the huge troop buildup when almost everyone in uniform spent their one year in-country, in fact, I was home before Nixon's inauguration in '69 when the escalation went truly wild. They thanked me for my extended time over there by releasing me from my Reserve requirement, which I truly appreciated, altho' I was such an idiot child that I had expected a hero's welcome awaited me, not having dog crap thrown at me when I landed in SFO, altho' two years or so of heavy drugs may have had something to do with my confusion and surprise [smile]. The USA was really a great country when I was a kid in the '40s and '50s...
One of the 1st things I saw on TV after 31 straight months in Vietnam. Best PTSD meds ever!
No offense taken, and Welcome Home brother. Was simply checking to see if you knew what you were askin' for. Personally, If it were my choice, after all these years I'm finally at the point where I'd scatter the pieces and send all those that infringe against us with impunity straight to hell, along with the corrupt bureaucrats and their administrivial cash incentives and BS that allows it all to happen. Just sayin'...
Fyi to interested civilians, PTSD isn't always cringing under the bed when you hear a loud noise, often as not, it's anger and rage against drafting teenagers to feed into overseas meatgrinders to die for the profit schemes of the donors that control both houses of our Congress; along with all the rest of those that 'pick on the weak', like abusers of women and children and 'dumb' animals. WWII GIs fought for their moms and sweethearts, most of us were sent against our will to murder innocents and die for the Bank of America and Gulf Oil. The hefty Agent Orange Cancer Apology bonus I recently received somehow makes me feel even more guilty for what I did from late '65 to mid '68.
Forgive me for venting here, but enough of you PM'd me, so...
Respectfully, as a Vietnam Vet I just wonder if you realize what you're exhorting us to do when you shout out, as it were, that we "Get some!!". Admittedly, my momentary flashes of PTSD-type sweats are minor these sixty years later, but simply wanted to mention it in case you're not aware. I would never ask anyone to not speak their mind, and I can handle reading it occasionally; perhaps you also are a Viet Vet, if so, forgive my big mouth. Appreciate all you do otherwise [smile], and please keep up the good work!! Cheers
Sixty-three sounds like a puppy from my seventy-eight years. Just sayin'...
Still here, even bought more during recent dips, altho' bear in mind since I'm about his age, I may in fact be suffering from Biden Brain. Just sayin'. Cheers!!
Keep up the good work brother, hang tough, attitude is everything. Cheers!!
I'm just wondering how many of us had our arms twisted and were forced to buy into this stock. Those that were in fact made to invest against their will to become stockholders in this company may feel others need to hear them whinge and moan like our new celebrated Victim Class, although the grown ups among us may consider not blaming others for our situational discomforts.
Appreciate the sentiment, MP33, I do hope for the best but always try to be prepared for the worst.
GLTY and all the Longs here. Cheers!!
I'm not long for this world, but I'm comfortable with my NLST shares simmering in a trust account for my daughter's solvent future. Just sayin'...
I take Finatic's slur against the venerable 9th Circuit quite personal [smile]...
Yep, the integrity, honor and courage of our Founding Fathers of 250 years ago didn't last long at all. The idea of the USA was simply too pure, too tolerant and too benevolent to its citizens to be tolerated by the parasites hovering around something so beautiful.
Thinking the best of folks or even giving them the benefit of the doubt has become dangerous territory. A good example is the Dept of Justice, which is a misnomer and should rightfully be called the 'Dept of INJUSTICE'. Billy and the Bimbo probably don't even feel any guilt over their villainy, it's a new world and culture out there. The worst part for me was all the friends, family and folks I introduced to that POS and the Consortium for which I felt responsible. Plus, it was terrible to see many of our 'friends' on the board turn on each other when things went sour and the hostilities began
Yeah, I remember you guys from that fiasco. Whatever happens here, I'm confident that Chuck isn't going to run off with our winnings like Billy and his double-agent partner-in-crime lawyer girlfriend did with our money from their sell-out settlement. Been loading up here for years, good chance I won't be around long enough to see the windfall that's due us, but I am counting on it to see my daughter through the corrupt times ahead of us for a generation or two. Just sayin'...
The quick brown fox jumped....
WTF!!! I go away for a couple days and the whole thing falls apart...
As usual, my appreciation for keeping folks updated on the process/ progress. Cheers!
Nice, thanks for posting!
Agree 100% re: organized religion, and point it out constantly about ALL of them. Life's too short to follow someone/something else's lights, just look inside of ourselves for all the answers. It's called integrity, just like a closed system in physics...
Moslem is on my fifty-five year old dogtags, and with my huge honker and one eyebrow, that's what I am. Doubt I'll live long enough to see the days when we are just another American ethnicity like we used to be.
Enjoy it while you can, youngster, this ain't a practice run...[smile]
Who are those guys, they kinda look familiar...
A few of us have previously agreed 100% with your characterization of LOS in an SA blog's comments section, but today was trying to grease the wheels a little to preclude your deletion.
First thing that came to mind trying to comply was oily LOS flattery, a specialty of my people (pardon, EasyMe, but poking recurring self-deprecating humor at arabs and moslems is what many of us feel helps our assimilation, but I have "given it a rest" lately).
And it's still there, AJ...[smile]
He/she has strong opinions, but sure seems like a straight-shooter. Can't hurt to try..
Agreeing mainly with: "Of course it was biased....the questions is, was it accurate?", and the remainder was speculative musings that didn't seem out of line.
Would love to see that article! Please post it here, most of us like to see as many sides of an issue as possible. Cheers
Well said, Rocket, thanks!
Good post!
Love it! Great buy, great company, great CEO.
Adding CMGO! GL Longs!!
Thanks again. Cheers!
Cheers! Bet your mom's both funny and bright.
You might consider buying her a few CMGOs for a longish-term hold...
Nice, thanks! No date, was that from today?
LOL!! Excellent, Space P, you just made my day and got another follower...
Good Luck w/ CMGO. Cheers!
Don't worry, Randy, the liquor will know what to do with the CMGO shit-clouds in the air ...
Getting pretty weird, to say the least.
Starting to feel abandoned, and would expect that an announcement [or explanation?] of some type simply has to be coming soon. But gut feeling is to hang tough...
Yep, adding 6s and holding... GLTA!!
Possibly a reference to Mr. Lahey of The Trailer Park Boys, and how he would announce harbingers of something evil this way coming...
CMGO
I'm buying...[smile]
Here's their pricing page:

Well, actually it was in fact $0.00, but not going to argue. Perhaps it depends on how much business you do w/ them, similar to my only having been charged $4.95 per trade for quite a while due to the volume of my trades.
But we are all certainly welcome to our own way of looking at and doing things. GL!
Just made an OTC trade at E-Trade with zero commission fee... GL!
