Got a great idea for WSGI management - how about selling products for operating costs instead of raising OS for a change! This is the same path I have watched for over 9 years - increase the SP then reverse split, increase the SP, reverse split. And at some point it will be for the same reason, you know, to get on XXX exchange we need to do this or some other BS reason! This company(??) must have friends at the FED, they just print shares instead of money. This is constant BS! Yeah, I know, they sold a BIB for testing. Get real!
Guess that proves it - this company has black projects. No wonder they can't find it!!
Sorry but I think you miss the entire point. It sounds logical to take out a 'confirmed citizen' terrorist on US soil that poses a possible threat right? Only problem is that the Government, giving sole power to any one person or executive branch to make such decisions is against the Constitution and illegal. It's the argument that those who give up liberty for security get neither. The government could suspect you are a 'possible' terrorist and arbitrarily 'take you out' because one person decides you are an extremist or pose a possible threat to the nation, ie a citizen on US soil that's undesirable. Very dangerous argument. Suppose you disagree with the Obama or any administration over an issue like gun control, which is taking away your God given right to defend yourself. You could then be considered by a single person to be a threat to the nation and eliminated. The Constitution has specific rules for the nation that are very plain. Remember Ruby Ridge, Waco, etc? Government running wild against American citizens that deserved at least a trial prior to being executed. This is how rogue governments act - time to re read the Constitution. If a person doesn't like the Constitution then change it or move to a place like Venezuela where Dictatorships rule. Rand Paul along with Ted Cruz believe in the Constitution and they are giving a class to Congress on the rules provided to be a free society. Everyone should listen to the discussion and be reeducated on the principles that protect us all from oppressive and tyrannical governments. And this argument is not about something as mundane as the 'dislike' of paying taxes - it's about our individual liberties and the Constitutional protections provided for every single American citizen, the good, the bad, and the ugly. And if WSGI is working with DHS to allow drone strikes on US soil against any American citizen not afforded the right of trial, I will dump my shares held for over 8 years, period. It's not all about money - it's about the survival of our Republic.
You are correct - most if not all trade shows require companies to stay to the bitter end. I did trade shows for 10+ years and know for a fact that you may not be allowed back next year if you break your display down early. So, most likely they stayed to the end.
A utility patent is stronger than a design patent and gives the holder more protection for an item. See below:
The difference between a design patent and a utility patent is that a design patent protects the ornamental design, configuration, improved decorative appearance, or shape of an invention. This patent is appropriate when the basic product already exists in the marketplace and is not being improved upon in function but only in style. For example, designer eyeglass frames, the original Coca-Cola bottles, and "Pet Rocks" would have all been protected with design patents. A U.S. design patent lasts for 14 years.
A utility patent protects any new invention or functional improvements on existing inventions. This can be to a product, machine, a process, or even composition of matter. For example, going from LED technology to OLED would call for a new utility patent. In this case the material of the light emitting diodes has gone from the synthetic material used in LEDs to organic material in OLEDs. Other examples would be a better carburetor, a new type of self-fastening diaper or a new recipe.
The life of a U.S. utility patent lasts 20 years from the date of filing assuming the patent is granted, but the owner of the patent must pay maintenance fees to the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) to keep a utility patent from expiring. These fees are due at 3½, 7½, and 11½ years and amount to roughly $3500 U.S. dollars for individuals and small businesses.
You're right - I for one say BS on any reverse split. How about a novel idea instead - sell products to raise the value of the company instead of taking the easy way out with a reverse split to hurry up getting to $4. We have waited years to get the stock price up, we can wait longer without any reverse split to EARN our way onto the NAS.
Even in the toy industry when you want to show or discuss any idea with a toy manufacturer you require an NDA - period. And you may rest assured that FEMA personnel that are tight with Boeing, Lockheed etc would not hesitate to 'share' any info with them gleaned from a CC with WSGI. Remember the old saying in WWII 'loose lips sink ships'?? Same applies to this issue. WSGI magagement did the correct thing requiring a NDA 'prior' to any discussions with ANY government entity. If this is the main issue surrounding this two day angst venting, be done with it and move on. I applaude our Mgt for being prudent and protective of the company technology, which is shareholder technology. Good job on their part. I rarely post on any board but this discussion takes the cake. Shareholders need to back off the inner workings of any company regardless of how much they 'think' they know. There are a lot of puzzle pieces behind the scenes that direct decisions all the time. Warp has been a loyal supporter of this company and I suspect he still is - and I feel the frustrations right along with everyone that holds this stock(6 years for me) But we need to let the YUMA test complete and then if nothing happens, it will be time for me to say 'good try' on a spectulative investment. I invested with my eyes wide open, all on my own,and will either lose OR win. ken w
WW - I am very glad you are doing so well. I hope your $1.50 projection comes true as that is about my exit point to break even. Continued good luck to you.

Many old shareholders trapped here with major losses (6+ years for me) - I can only hope that they pump this stock up to a point I can get out(before the dump)with just a portion of my investment saved. I truly hope for all those that hang in the very best. GLTA
Maybe some of the more astute that post on this board would supply an answer to the following:
How would the Chairman of GTEM be able to register and sell over 9 million shares without a public filing of his intent to do so?
The SEC is not blind to this company. I will not engage in any banter on this non issue.
GO COWBOYS
Hello nerd86, I get it now. Sorta sounds like the SubPrime mess the financials are in. But like one poster always notes, the Stock Market is the most crooked legal game ever foisted upon the public.
GO COWBOYS
justfrank, thanks for clarification and correction.
Thanks Warp and I agree about the "theory" issue. Hope you get your shares straightened out with TDA. Also, the new site is certainly professional and contains good info. Good luck to you and all GTEM longs.
Warp, seems to me that if there is a 1:1 share swap, the shares will only go to shareholders of record, regardless of what the brokerages did with loaning out shares to shorts. The brokerage houses must make good the shares owned by a shareholder of record. If this is done, the FTD shorts will be left with worthless GTEM shares that they can't trade after the swap and symbol change. I don't see the complexity in this type of transaction, but I admit I am a novice in the trading world. What am I missing? TIA
Let's see now - he makes $250MM in 20 years on these "set up" lawsuits, and gets fined about $10MM. That makes for his 2 1/2 years in prison worth about $96MM per year and countless companies damaged as a result. Who said crime doesn't pay! What a joke!
GO COWBOYS
BLINK031, maybe the best way for shareholders to get any satisfaction would be to come together in a class action lawsuit against each individual and the group collectively once the SEC investigation is complete and all the criminals are proven guilty of fraud and illegal stock practices per the SEC. If these people are found guilty by the SEC and hopefully the DOJ, there would be no reason that a shareholder class action lawsuit would not follow. I'm sure there are some lawyers that frequent this site and would like to hear from them as to the validity of such a class action lawsuit under these circumstances. Even if the lawyers get all the money from such a lawsuit, it would give me great pleasure to see these people suffer constant legal pursuit and legal harassment. We the shareholders deserve at least some satisfaction after what they have illegally done, according to the SEC, to our investment. All IMO.
Yeah, here is a guy (Huff) that squandered, through a lack of oversight management, many a shareholders investment while at GTEM and now has a free hand to start a similiar business with a slap on the wrist by the SEC. Anyone know who is supplying his operation with Radios?? Trimax?? I thought GTEM owned Hotzone and the technology - any ideas? TIA
ADDED: What is really sickening is that in the article released today he comments that he has "no problem raising money" while we sit here suffering the angst of a full blown SEC investigation, sans Huff. Really rubs me wrong and I was a supporter of him while he was the CEO at GTEM!
All IMO
Seems to me that all shareholders that have been financially damaged by these five people as a result of their fraudulent actions(that have been charged by the SEC in two separate filings) should be able to file a Civil Class Action law suit against them collectively and individually for recovery of losses. Even if no award, it would be some satifaction to keep them all on the grill for several more years. How about hiring one of the law firms that won the class action suit against GTEM? What a natural fit. LOL.
Yeah, I can't imagine the legal expense for him in the coming years of litigation. He pays, GTEM has Jon. Not a bad setup going forward IMO.
mide, yes, the speculation in itself should be most entertaining for the coming year. Maybe GTEM will have some good news that will push this to the back pages. The beat goes on.
nerd86, I don't think that there will be any GTEM "roasting" involved, but still think this will be a drawn out case, mostly via the Defense. I would hope for a speedy resolution, just don't think it will happen, IMO.
No, most likely it will take several more years after the Final Pretrial conference: August 3, 2009 date with additional appeals, extensions etc. My guess is that this will drag on into 2012 or 2013 at best. Why do people think this will be a quick resolution? These trials take years to complete. IMO only.
For those of you who are casting doubt about issues between Courtney Smith & Co., Inc. and Genesisintermedia, plus anyone associated with this trial, might want to review the attachment below. Trying this issue again,on a message board, may lead to serious consequences, IMO. Just a thought.

Might be a good idea if those of us that feel somewhat jilted by TH to write the author of this article and tell him what you think of TH and what he did to GTEM and its shareholders. Seems he is now starting up another company that competes with GTEM in Wi-Fi. Why didn't he do this when he was the CEO of GTEM? I've already sent my email and my opinion of Huffs new venture. Sickening, IMO.
Geez, yesterday it was "where are the pictures". Oh I forgot, new talking point for today. If I recall there was a post a week or so ago showing the solar panels on one of the airships. The panels appeared blue on top with 6 sections. But I'm sure you saw them also. If not, maybe someone on this board can find them and post them again just for you. Now wouldn't that be a nice Xmas present for you to get? And BTW, how do you know that they haven't flown the airship under Solar power? Hummmm, let me guess your answer.
I'm glad to see that the airship can fly without Solar panels as this will be a requirement for extended flights where the sunlight is at a minimum for extended periods of time. So you see, there is a good side also. But don't fret, solar panels will be applied when testing is ready.
Ahh, it's so refreshing to read all the naysayers post in desparate attempts to undermine the SAS 51 progress. In the latest video, it was demonstrated that a video capability could be intergrated into the system, the airship is nicely controlled, the altitude in one shot looked well above 1000 feet at least, and Sanswire - TOA are continuing to develop a marketable product. Now I'm waiting for the next negative post stating that they saw a wing tip one of the video shots that proves that the SAS 51 was never making the video shots, or how about, we saw a reflection on the ground of a heli that proves that the video camera was not in the airship. Gets tiring but that's what they live for - disruption, doubt, and total negative comments. Actually, it is amusing to read their posts.
Maybe the video surviellance is a top priority and not the Hotzone telephony. Could be they are looking at border control or DOD solutions for a possible partner. Never know.
Got any PROOF? You are posting libel information. If not show proof of your claims.
MODERATORS: This is a poster that re-posts the same messages over and over and over. Is that allowed on this board? Also, check the other board - his post about "show us Sanswire 2" has been stated for the last 3 weeks - same message. How many times will we have to read these same comments?
You sure are quick to get up to speed on GTEM being such a novice investor as you posted 2 days ago. Please share with us some of those debts that you claim that you'll to be around to collect. Hummm, sounds a little fishy Mr. Novice Investor. TIA
Your post on 12-15-2007:
I am new here on I-Hub. I am a novice investor trying to learn about trading penny's.You have a nice info header. The Pinks and OTC are full of scams.I guess this board will be helpful in my DD.Thanks
As you say "Unfortunately for many it's not good". Too bad the big news is so bad for all the bashers. BTW, can you post some facts about this bad news for the bashers? TIA
IMO, here is how such information can possibly occur:
Ques: Does GTEM have current funding.
Ans: Can't comment.
Ques: GTEM must have a source of funds.
Ans: Can't be specific but we are surviving.
Ques: If funding is going on, are these funds via shareholders?
Ans: Can't comment, but if we were receiving funding, these groups would certainly be considered special.
Ques: If GTEM was getting funding, how would it be handled.
Ans: Well, If we were to receive such funding, I would suspect that at this specific time it would have to be done in 2 tranches. And if that was the way it was be handled, I would suspect that GTEM would not announce any funding deals until the second tranch was available because we would not want such a deal to be viewed as a solicitation for funding. But that's just an opinion.
Ques: How will investors know if such funding may have taken place?
Ans: GTEM would release it through an 8K when they feel that it is appropiate. But GTEM would have to make a decision as to when that would be considered appropiate, but I cannot really comment on anything specific at this time.
Conclusion: Read mide's message.
Get the point? Nothing is by any means factual at this time and are most likely the conclusions drawn from several snippets of information.
Watching the markets the last few weeks has really shown what a corrupt and manipulated system in which small investors are trapped. For weeks report after report has stated that the housing and credit crunch is huge, massive mortgage losses in the billions reported every day. Yet a week ago the Fed Chairman "mutters" a possible 1/4 point cut in the interest rate and the market goes crazy - up, up, up. This run up, in face of all the massive bad news, was fake and just goes to show that the "free" market is not free at all - it is controlled and contrived. It's a market reflecting what they(big hedge funds and money)want it to be. That coupled with the toothless SEC, and the small investor is screwed. I,like others you mentioned, am out once I see the final conclusion of GTEM. As one investor says "This stock market is the most corrupt institution in America." All IMO of course.
One other question I asked him - did he think Congress was turning their head as to the magnitude of the Naked Shorting issue, and he responded that Congress has much larger things to concentrate on such as the War in Iraq. In other words, he did not view the naked short selling as a big problem. I even cited the facts the Senator put forward about shares of a defunct company still being traded - he seemed unconcerned. What an eye opener today!
Mt bigsky, I just finished speaking to an SEC agent and I am here to tell you that as far as enforcing any SHO threshold provisions and naked short selling in general - forget it. According to this agent, the SEC views Naked Shorting as perfectly legal. And according to this person I spoke with he said that there are many reasons that a stock will continue to repeatedly appear on the SHO threshold report. When asked if they would enforce the laws of violators, he said only if there is proven manipulation issues involved. I asked if failure to abide by their own threashold law would be reason to take action and he again replied "only if there is proof of purposeful attempts to manipulate". His final response was, we want to wait and see how the changes to the grandfather clause work out - in other word, forget any SEC enforcement IMO. All words and there will be no action IMO. Talk about depressing.
Yep, got them Friday. A big .02 cents per share (prior to additional deductions) is the big payoff estimate - what a surprise. This suit was just for the Lawyer ambulance chasers, IMO.
Warp, you are right. The company has to pay for those lists, usually around $10,000 per year. But they are available and I suspect GTEM has one. That's how they know the shareholder base count and who owns GTEM shares.
If you are so sure that NMC is a scam, you need to get to the SEC ASAP. Posting such unfounded opinions on a message board does little to answer your claims and exposes you to libel and slander if you are wrong. And why all the CAPS? And BTW, just because there is no NMC site doesn't mean there is no NMC, does it??
Disagree. Right now GTEM is very well served with a Lawyer as CEO to guide the company through this maze of issues without multiple levels of management inbetween to mess decisions up, decisions that are required legally, not technically. Fortunately, TAO has technology expertise, as well as VPN. So I see little basis for your complaint at this time, IMO.
You apparently have not read that the Lotte(SAS- 51) is now Sanswires low altitude airship. I suspect that the Sky Dragon will be the mid altitude airship, and perhaps the Sanswire2 will be the high altitude airship. Fortunately, there is an email address on the TOA site. Maybe you should ask all your Sanswire questions to them as they are now the ones that will be performing tests, modifications etc to all the airships. And you can ask all your questions so easily to them by using the Internet via a simple email. Go for it.
