Geez! There are people here again! Last time I came here there hadn't been any posts for ages, so I thought it was a thing of the past. I'm still here. Not out on the boards much though. How's everyone doing?
Hey Plato -
I hear ya! I've had way too much going on in life to worry about the little things - like which penny stock is going to run (or not) and which "adversary" is pumping a play in order to dump it. Almost lost my daugher in January 2004, and she's been in the hospital most of 2005 so far. Makes you remember what trualy is important in life. I am still in the market, but am playing the "bigger" plays. I am in stocks like Best Buy, Medtronic, Pfizer, Merck, etc.... looking to buy at the low on bad news and make a few bucks.... no longer looking to double my money on a 3 cent stock. Wish the best to every one out there and whether you're playing pennies, small cap, mid cap, large cap or mutual funds, may everyone have a prosperous 2005! -Smudge
Hey Plato, A2G, Greenhorn, Dave and all!!!!!
Hope all is well with all of you. Haven't been around for a long time due to the penny stock market conditions.... I've been trading NASDAQ and Listed stocks - been doing pretty well over the past several months - almost have my retirement plan back to where it was 2 years ago. (Ouch! - was down 40% around the first of the year!)
Taking a "sentimental journey" today and out looking for old friends (and a few old enemies...LOL!... of which there are plenty!) This all started by cleaning out my filing cabinet and boxing up my 1999 and 2000 tax returns. Took a look at my Schedule D and it brought back all sorts of fond memories.
Anyways, I'm still not trading the pennies much - I've dabbled with a few of them, but the ever-changing market conditions make them a little too hard to call for me these days. I've been trading some of the names I've traded for years, companies that I know well and feel confident holding long term if need be... like Best Buy, Royal Carribean, Baxter Labs, Home Depot, NW Airlines, etc.... Lost my butt on a few "well known names" like Worldcomm and Lucent. (I only own 2 penny stocks now, but they weren't pennies when I bought them.... )
I have popped in here once in a while over the past year or two, but haven't been in the penny market at all so I haven't posted much - just an occassional hello... But wanted to wish you all luck in your trading and say hi. I'm still not back in the pennies, but if anyone is interested in chatting about NASDAQ or Listed stocks one-on-one, you can get in touch with me through this mail box or dizzymzlizzy2001@yahoo.com
Stock talk or not, would love to hear from some of my old friends. Get in touch!!!!

P.S. - My new motto is "I started out with nothing, and I still have most of it left" ... LOL
I don't know if this is a good thing or a bad thing...
but Bobz is up and running again after 43 days of being 'out of order' -
TWO THOUSAND ONE - NINE - ELEVEN:
WHOEVER WROTE THIS SHOULD STEP FORWARD AND CLAIM
THIS POEM. THE WORDS ARE VERY POWERFUL
TWO THOUSAND ONE, NINE ELEVEN (2001-911)
Two thousand one, nine eleven
Three thousand plus arrive in heaven
As they pass through the gate,
Thousands more appear in wait
A bearded man with stovepipe hat
Steps forward saying, "Lets sit, lets chat"
They settle down in seats of clouds
A man named Martin shouts out proud
"I have a dream!" and once he did
The Newcomer said, "Your dream still lives."
Groups of soldiers in blue and gray
Others in khaki, and green then say
"We're from Bull Run, Yorktown, the Maine"
The Newcomer said, "You died not in vain."
>From a man on sticks one could hear
"The only thing we have to fear.
The Newcomer said, "We know the rest,
trust us sir, we've passed that test."
"Courage doesn't hide in caves
You can't bury freedom, in a grave,"
The Newcomers had heard this voice before
A distinct Yankees twang from Hyannisport shores
A silence fell within the mist
Somehow the Newcomer knew that this
Meant time had come for her to say
What was in the hearts of the five thousand plus
that day
"Back on Earth, we wrote reports,
Watched our children play in sports
Worked our gardens, sang our songs
Went to church and clipped coupons
We smiled, we laughed, we cried, we fought
Unlike you, great we're not"
The tall man in the stovepipe hat
Stood and said, "Don't talk like that!
Look at your country, look and see
You died for freedom, just like me"
Then, before them all appeared a scene
Of rubbled streets and twisted beams
Death, destruction, smoke and dust
And people working just 'cause they must
Hauling ash, lifting stones,
Knee deep in hell, but not alone
"Look! Blackman, Whiteman, Brownman, Yellowman
Side by side helping their fellow man!"
So said Martin, as he watched the scene
"Even from nightmares, can be born a dream."
Down below three firemen raised
The colors high into ashen haze
The soldiers above had seen it before
On Iwo Jima back in '44
The man on sticks studied everything closely
Then shared his perceptions on what he saw mostly
"I see pain, I see tears,
I see sorrow -- but I don't see fear."
"You left behind husbands and wives
Daughters and sons and so many lives
are suffering now because of this wrong
But look very closely. You're not really gone.
All of those people, even those who've never met you
All of their lives, they'll never forget you
Don't you see what has happened?
Don't you see what you've done?
You've brought them together, together as one.
With that the man in the stovepipe hat said
"Take my hand," and from there he led
three thousand plus heroes, Newcomers to heaven
On this day, two thousand one, nine eleven

Don't feel too bad, Dave -
I only have 2 penny stocks right now - Ericsson (ERICY) and Worldcom (WCOEQ). The problem is, they WEREN'T penny stocks when I bought them.
ROTFL!! Okay you guys, quit picking on me...
No, I am NOT "Bob" - LOL. Bruceski, you crack me up! Plato, you're right - I'm just hanging around. Not playing penny stocks these days, but am still in the market in some NASDAQ and NYSE stocks and just trying to keep my head above water while this market tries to recover.
As far as Bobz goes, I don't know for sure. I sent Gregg an email last night to ask him about it. I know he's had some things going on in his life that have made it difficult for him to keep on top of the boards, he DID have it up for sale for a while, and with the market going to hell, traffic was way down and his ad revenue was too, and I wouldn't be surprised if he just pulled the plug. Strictly speculation right now until I hear from him, but I think we should all have a moment of silence while we mourn the passing of our old friend, Crazy Bob...
Found this on Bobz - LOL - Pretty FUNNY!

Is anybody here???? Hello?????
Yo - Bru!!!!
Why don't you ever email me anymore? ;o)
Hey Plato, Bruceski, Low, Green....everyone
How's it going? Haven't talked to most of you for ages. But I do pop in here every once in a while and read up. Congrats Low and Green! Well, Bru.....????????? ;o) I have chatted with Plato a bit lately so I know how things are going with him. Good Job JP!!!!! Me, I'm doing ok. Not GREAT, mind you, but ok. Miss all my friends out here. Not trading any pennies these days because most of the Big Board and NAS stocks are almost pennies. Been trading some of the airlines and cruiselines, playing with a few biotechs and computer techs, and about 70% in cash right now. I don't think we've bottomed during the current churn, but we're getting close IMHO. Hope all of you are making at least a little pocket change. BTW, my email is smudge2@qwest.net. Holler once in a while.
If anyone here is still holding PLRP,
It had a nice run today. Looks like there might be some more coming.
A Christmas Joke to start December....
Subject: Christmas Angel
Not long ago and far away, Santa was getting ready for
his annual trip...but there were problems everywhere. Four
of his elves got sick, and the trainee elves did not produce
the toys as fast as the regular ones so Santa was beginning to
feel the pressure of being behind schedule.
Then Mrs. Claus told Santa that her Mom was coming to visit.
This stressed Santa even more. When he went to harness the
reindeer, he found that three of them were about to give birth
and two had jumped the fence and were out, heaven knows
where to. More Stress! Then when he began to load the sleigh,
one of the boards cracked and the toy bag fell to the ground
and scattered the toys.
Totally frustrated, Santa went into the house for a cup of
coffee and a shot of whiskey. When he went to the cupboard,
he found the elves had hit the liquor and there was nothing to
drink. In his frustration, he dropped the coffee pot and it broke
into hundreds of little pieces all over the kitchen floor.
He went to get the broom and found that mice had eaten the straw it was made from.
Just then the doorbell rang and Santa cussed on his
way to the door. He opened the door and there was a little angel
with a great big Christmas tree. The angel said: "Where
would you like to put this tree, fat man?"
And that my friend is how the little angel came to be
on top of the Christmas tree.

Interesting re NASDAQ delisting suspension:
Nasdaq Takes Actions to Help Companies Remain Listed
Temporarily Suspends Minimum Bid Price and Public Float
Requirements for Continued Listing on Market
New York—In response to the extraordinary market conditions following the tragedy of
September 11th, The Nasdaq Stock Market, Inc. today announced that it was implementing an
across-the-board moratorium on the minimum bid and public float requirements for continued
listing on Nasdaq. The actions to suspend these requirements until January 2, 2002, were
approved late yesterday by the Nasdaq Board of Directors and became effective immediately.
Nasdaq rules have generally provided that companies whose securities fall below the minimum
bid price or fail to meet minimum market value of public float requirement for 30 consecutive
business days are given a 90 day grace period to regain compliance. A company may
demonstrate compliance by meeting the applicable standard for a minimum of 10 consecutive
business days. If a company fails to regain compliance within the applicable timeframe, that
company is subject to delisting. Nasdaq's new moratorium will suspend these requirements
until January 2, 2002.
Under the temporary relief provided by the new rules, companies will not be cited for bid price
or market value of public float deficiencies. Companies currently under review for deficiencies
or in the hearings process will be taken out of the process with respect to the bid price or
market value of public float requirements. No deficiencies will accrue during the proposed
suspension process. During this time, Nasdaq will consider whether it is appropriate to
recommend further and more permanent action.
"In the days following September 11th, we extended the grace period associated with these
requirements for affected companies on an individual basis," said Wick Simmons, chairman
and chief executive officer of Nasdaq. "Yesterday, we implemented a broader action that we
believe will provide greater stability to the marketplace during these times of economic
uncertainty."
The Nasdaq Stock Market® lists over 4,300 companies and trades more shares per day than
any other U.S. market. For more information about Nasdaq, visit the Nasdaq Web site at
www.nasdaq.com or the Nasdaq NewsroomSM at www.nasdaqnews.com.
Where is everybody?
Hey Bruceski - welcome home...

Or on presents for smudgely! LOL. eom
I haven't been trading pennies - just a few options in recent months. But I agree, the penny market is starting to improve. We're back in a position where there is money to be made if you trade carefully and think about what you're doing. I'm not sure that we'll ever see the days of everything you touch going up again, like we did in 1999, but yes, there is money to be made. We've got more people coming back into the market, and a 'relative' sense that things have kind of bottomed out. I hope to be active in pennies again soon. And when it does, this board will be back to normal. Bobz is getting back to normal, isn't it? (Oh, Goodie! Just what we wanted! - LOL!)
Todd, actually I wouldn't recommend my arrangemet to anyone...lol; because of some restrictions due to my employment, I have to use a full service NYSE firm for all my trading. My commission discount stinks, and makes it difficult to trade actively and profitably except in really good markets. This is not necessarily a recommendation, but I know some people who use E-trade and are pretty happy with them. Ask around for opinions.
Todd - Plato: More PLRP news:
PACEL Corp.'s e-Centurion Stops W32/Sircam Virus In Its Tracks
MANASSAS, VA--(INTERNET WIRE)--Aug 02, 2001-- David E. Calkins, president and CEO of PACEL Corp. (OTC BB: PLRP) announced today that the company's e-Centurion security product completely prevented the devastating W32/Sircam virus from executing during extensive testing over the past week.
CW32/Sircam is malicious code that spreads through email and potentially through unprotected network shares. Once the malicious code has been executed on a system, it may reveal or delete sensitive information. Users who receive copies of the malicious code through electronic mail might recognize the sender.
The email message will contain an attachment whose name matches the subject line and has a double file extension (e.g. subject.ZIP.BAT or subject.DOC.EXE). The CERT/CC has confirmed reports that the first extension may be .DOC, .XLS, or .ZIP. Anti-virus vendors have referred to additional extensions, including .GIF, .JPG, .JPEG, .MPEG, .MOV, .MPG, .PDF, .PNG, and .PS. The second extension will be .EXE, .COM, .BAT, .PIF, or .LNK. The attached file contains both the malicious code and the contents of a file copied from an infected system. When the attachment is opened, the copied file is extracted to both the %TEMP% folder (usually C:\WINDOWS\TEMP) and the Recycled folder on the affected system. The original file is then opened using the appropriate default viewer while the infection process continues in the background. (Source: CERT/CC)
"We are very pleased to further validate our claims that e-Centurion is a revolutionary product," stated Calkins. "Simply by using the default configuration for our product--protecting .exe and .bat files--we were able to stopW32/ Sircam cold. Without prior knowledge of the virus signature, e-Centurion prevented it from inserting itself into any of the user's folders or creating any files in order to execute. e-Centurion also protects the address book, soW32/ Sircam wasn't able to propagate through e-mail. When W32/Sircam isn't able to do its dirty work, it simply disappears. In effect, we killed it."
According to Calkins, a limited number of advance copies of e-Centurion will be available via Amazon.com and on the company website once outside testing is complete. "When a program is as powerful as e-Centurion, it must be extensively tested to ensure that it is as stable as possible," he explained.

Todd - I think the penny market is starting to look more intriguing recently than it has for over a year. Volumes are getting stronger, the boards are getting more active and we're actually seeing some significant movement in certain stocks. The move on USXP early this week was really exciting - even though I wasn't in it. I think PLRP has some real potential and at under .02 it represents little risk. Of course, when you're trading any stock, the risk potential is always 100%, but if you're ready and able to get your feet wet again in the market, I think it makes sense to buy the really cheap ones that have some 'happenins goin on' and bide your time.
Todd - here's their recent news for starters...
July 25, 2001 14:37
PACEL Corp. Reports Second Straight Quarter of Revenue Increases Over 250%
MANASSAS, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 25, 2001--PACEL Corp. (OTC BB: PLRP)
announced today that for the three months ended June 30, 2001, sales were
$226,000 for a total of $429,000 for the six months ended June 30, 2001,
compared to $58,000 for the second quarter of 2000 and a total of $116,000
for the six months ended June 30, 2000, an increase of $313,000 or 270%.
The increase in revenues is directly attributed to the sales generated from
existing NATO contracts of Fairfax Communications Limited and from
EBStor.com's increased business in consulting and Web development.
The Company intends to continue to focus its efforts on the marketing of
the ChildWatch(TM) family of products and e-Centurion anti-virus software.
Only limited revenues from the ChildWatch software have been realized to
date due to marketing delays.
The Company's marketing delays stem from the inability to obtain financing
through the second quarter, a difficulty that the Company is working to
address.
David Calkins, president and CEO of PACEL Corp., said, "As a result of our
efforts to obtain continued sources of financing, we have entered into an
equity line of credit arrangement and also issued some convertible
debentures. As part of these financings, registration rights were provided
to the security holders.
"A registration statement was filed on April 25, 2001 with the SEC to
register the shares that may be issued under the equity line of credit
arrangement. This registration statement was subsequently withdrawn on July
10, 2001 to address certain regulatory issues. We anticipate filing a new
registration statement with the SEC covering the common stock under these
arrangements.
"Once the registration statement is declared effective by the SEC, we
intend to use a portion of the proceeds from the equity line of credit to
help fund our marketing plans. In an effort to continue the promotion and
marketing rollout of ChildWatch and e-Centurion, PACEL Corp. has engaged
various services in exchange for stock.
"While this has caused some dilution, we are confident that our stock value
will increase in conjunction with continued increases in sales."

Plato; OK - that's cool. Just getting a little leary of all the crazies over at Bobz. It has happened before that someone posted as you when it really wasn't.... Sweet run on USXP today.... was going to buy some of that on rctrader2's recommendation last week but didn't do it. Gun shy, I guess... ;o(
Hey Plato - there is someone posting as you out on Bobz. It doesn't sound like you and you haven't posted here about the same stocks, so I'm guessing it's an imposter.... I mentioned that on Bobz...see your email.
Hey Bruceski -
Don't forget to bring some hotdogs with you.
You'd hate to lose a body part for lack of ground beef....!
;o)
smudgely
Been doing ok - but not in the market. Haven't traded a thing for a couple of months. New job, a lot of 'stuff' going on in life, and I just haven't been around much. I spend every free minute I get out by the pool, frying myself to a crisp. LOL. Glad to see everyone is still here, even if we're all being quiet. We ought to start calling this 'the nap room'.
LOL- Plato, believe it or not, I've become a lurker! eom
Plato - you have mail eom
Ok - since we're not into the market these days,
how about some humor????

LOL - Doug, I wouldn't mind testing the 19,000 level on the NASDAQ! Sounds like a good time to me. Count me in!!!!
Anyone here?? Another low one that's been moving lately is MYIQ - up another 15% this morning, now trading at .04. This one was $1 during the hay days of the OTCBB in the early spring of 2000. Check out the chart for the past few weeks - a strong uptrend is taking place. They've had a a couple of PRs recently that demonstrate they're working hard on development of their programs. They've already served their time with the E and on the pink sheets, so hopefully those concerns are all in the past. Hope everyone is making some money this week. Nice to see some strength back in the market.
Better than having 'blank screen syndrome' - LOL.
