Refer to my comment yesterday about the value of credibility to a start up like we have here. The lack of credibility is why our share price never moves when we get a positive news release. By the way, why haven't we heard anything from the presentation we gave to all the retailers we'll need to stock our Immune boost product?
It's not people saying mean things about this company that's hurting the stock price. It's the lack of follow through on statements made by management. Credibility is a major asset, maybe the major asset for a start up like this, and they are squandering that by promising things and missing deadlines. Let's hope March 31 doesn't come and go without hearing something.
Agreed. I have been adding until a couple of months ago and am now just waiting. But just like I finally threw in the towel with RGB*, I'm getting close here as well. Too many fluff tweets, missed deadlines, unmet promises, etc. Another health supplement to hit the market, so what? Is that why we all invested here?
We can try to spin this news as positive, but everyone was convinced Koos wouldn't have made this deal with Canary without having the $50 million lined up. While we don't know why the deal was terminated (and a little more information about that would have been nice) lack of funding would be a good guess. It just raises questions about Koos's overall competence.
Point taken, but there's a middle ground between a full page ad in Fortune and somebody sending out tweets. Baby steps!
First post here, but I have a good amount of shares.
It may be some time down the road before we get to a share price we all hope it eventually achieves, but it would be helpful to get some affirmation that we're on the right path. To this end, they need to stop communicating by tweet and implement a competent, professional PR strategy. If we want to eventually play in the major leagues, we need to start acting now like that's where we belong.
During this past year I haven't taken a dime in salary from Regen. The reason for this is because I see our company for all its potential and possibilities and I'm betting on what we have and what we can achieve.
One more thing about this statement. Koos must expect a payoff in the relatively short term, not years down the road or he'd be paying himself in the meantime. Maybe just wishful thinking on my part?
Wouldn't that have been a material event, required to be disclosed to shareholders (even if the source of the funding couldn't be revealed due to an NDA)?
Settlement date is T+2, but the IRS uses trade date rather than settlement date for tax computation.
Mr. Market is telling you how he thinks the money is going to be raised.
I don't understand. If they need to come up with $50 million, why don't they raise $51 million to pay off this debt and then end the dilution and not bother with this 8k?
Fingers crossed.
I would think if Koos told us how the money will be raised, the price would shoot up (if it were good news). How much has the stock price dropped percentage-wise, since he told us about the $50 million deal?
Assuming it is not because of ongoing dilution, I would think it is because investors are nervous about next steps. This was certainly material news, and some additional color around the transaction would be a big help, IMO.
Fine, then he should tell us how he's going to raise the money. I felt the same way as you as to the likelihood he was going to dilute, but the longer we get the mushroom treatment the more I have to wonder. And the trend in the stock price is not a hopeful sign that great news is on the horizon.
Koos owes investors an explanation as to how he plans to come up with the $50 million. Many posters were skeptical that he would resort to issuing additional shares and hopefully that's not the case, but if he IS doing that and hoping no one will notice, that's pretty slimy.
And when I asked yesterday in a post where our favorite pumper is these days, he quickly deleted my post. Let's see how long this one lasts. LOL
Sometimes it's skill, sometimes it's luck, most of the time it's BS.
I would hope so. I have a sizeable investment here that looks like it's going to zero. And it's frustrating reading post after post about what a great buying opportunity this is. All of the actions Koos has taken the last several months led me to be very optimistic about the potential here, but at some point investors have to re-examine their investment thesis and say "maybe I was wrong".
The stock price is telling you investors are not going to like how Koos raises the $50 million. Time will tell if that is meaningful or not.
Thanks. I don't know how any layman can really understand or know the true value of our patents, but I hope you're right.
Serious question - What gives you the confidence to continue buying as the price drops? How do you know we really have the goods, rather than this being another OTC stock promising untold wealth to investors?
We can continue to blame the recent price action on MM manipulation, or note sellers, tax loss selling, etc. But at some point we have to consider that maybe we've been had. I'm not bashing, just being realistic. Occam's Razor and all that.
I still think the lack of clarity about the source of the $50 million is what continues to pressure the stock price. Why doesn't Koos tell us already?
That's what the market is saying, despite assurances from some posters here to the contrary. If not dilution, something else that the market thinks is not going to be shareholder friendly. That's why it's time for Koos to let us know where the money is coming from.
It would be a good time for Koos to tell us how he is going to come up with $50 million.
I would argue the current share price tells the ENTIRE story more accurately than some article from 6 years ago. Price is truth.
The only thing unstoppable about this company is the slide in the share price! Jeez, this is painful to watch.
It's probably prudent to own some of the preferred shares, since that is what Koos owns.
Not my area of expertise, but someone once explained that those numbers are intraday buys/sells from MMs providing liquidity to the market, and typically the shorts are covered EOD. I'm not naive enough to think there aren't a lot of games being played, but again I would think there are many other names out there for the MMs to short with less risk of being burned.
I don't think so. The most the shorts can make is 2 cents, but what will they lose if/when blockbuster news drops? There's too many easier targets out there.
Despite everyone here having an opinion to the contrary, the market must be worried about shares being issued to raise the $50 million. What other reasonable explanation is there for the non-stop erosion of the share price?
It seems pretty obvious that Koos needs to put that issue to rest. And the longer he goes leaving that question unanswered (Where is the money coming from?)the more I think we might not like the answer.
Why? Can you show us how that has helped the stock price at all? In fact, I would argue it has done the opposite.
You're correct of course. But it would seem that Koos already has the report given the moves he's made as outlined in the recent 8K. And that being the case, I think from an investors relations standpoint he could do more to give us an update. Especially allaying fears about NOT using new shares to raise $50 million.
I agree, and someone posted a question yesterday and the post was quickly deleted. With everything we have going for us, why are we trading where we are? (his question) And my question - are the posters on this message board smarter than all other investors? There's been some impressive due diligence posted here, but it's all publicly available information and some of it is many years old. We can blame MMs, flippers, etc. but I would think eventually the price should start going up if we really have the goods.
I didn't see any 5 cent predictions either, but I have noticed an inverse correlation to the level of excitement and number of posts on a weekend, to the way the stock performs on Monday. So far today at least, that relationship is holding up.
That wouldn't be consistent with the steps Koos has taken to date, so while not the most likely outcome, I'd have to give it more than a 0% possibility. This is the OTC after all!!
It seems obvious that Koos has the funding mechanism for the $50 million lined up, so this sell off could have been avoided if a PR had accompanied the 8k giving an indication of where the money was coming from. Not specifics, but at least dispelling any thoughts of additional shares being the source of funds.
I certainly don't think that, but it's a reasonable guess that investors are worried about that possibility. I bought more on this selloff.
