Is UNH a good buy opportunity?
Anybody watching SSCCQ?
$0.031 now. Looks like we have a breakout here. Nice volume so far too. I like what I see in SSCCQ for a move higher after consolidating for almost 2 months.
I like SSCCQ at 3 cents over any other bankruptcy play. It looks like it is building a nice base.
These high volume bankrupt pennies with the Q attached on the end sure make fun trading instruments!!!
What is there to like about this stock NXG?
$.034
The funny or ironic thing about these bankruptcy stocks is that you can make more money trading these stocks when they file for bankruptcy than you could when they were solid blue chip companies. Check out LEHMQ $.05-$.40 and IndyMac went from something like $.0276 to almost $.30. If you have the stomach for volatility these are great trading instruments when they enter bankruptcy. In a strange way I feel better putting my money in WAMUQ at these prices than I do anything else in this crazy market. The upside potential and downside risk is better here than anything I'm seeing in the market right now. Goes to show you how bad the market is for me to feel safer here than the mine field that is Wall Street right now.
All these penny stocks are worthless and there only value is as a TRADE. Trade well!
I don't know, but I'm not here to scalp a penny or two there are much better places for my money than here. What I am looking for is anywhere from a 3-5 bagger and based on trading companies that have filed bankruptcy over the past 8 years there are some really nice tradeable bounces where you can make at least 3-5 times your money and sometimes if you're lucky 10-20 times your money but those usually are cases where there is hope for the common stock and you never know what can happen and even here no one knows what will happen, but as a trader you have to assume that it is worthless and not get your hopes up for a $10 buyout or something crazy like that, this is a nickel stock right now and this is the spot where I usually see a bottom in these kind of situations. Take a look at the chart of IndyMac (IDMC.PK) and you will see two really nice explosive bounces off bottom. From my experience two great bounces off bottom are usually what you get with these trades, so being greedy and looking for a third one you may or may not get it and if you do it won't be as good as the first two. JMHO
There will be a lot of bounces on the way to zero IMO. If it were so easy as going to zero overnight why not short right here right now. It is much more difficult than that. I hope everybody here makes a bundle trading this. I have seen so many post bankruptcy bounces in the past and they all have huge upside moves, and the only question is from what level. We are at that level here IMO and I will look to buy more in the morning.
Are you people for real? Wake the hell up. This is a trading vechicle and nothing more. It isn't going to a penny and it's not going back to $12 either. This is a trader's stock and if you don't understand how stocks trade and haven't played post bankruptcy stocks you need to educate yourself or just get out and take your lumps and be an observer.
Everybody who wanted to sell has already sold IMHO. There have been plenty of chances to sell the past few days.
This isn't going subpenny anytime soon. I have traded many of these BK stocks before and all of them were great trading stocks. Even IndyMac had two huge moves off it's lows and LEH is a much bigger company and this stock trades more volume. Happy trading to all!!!
You guys all sound like newbie traders. I'm buying.
"what truly hurts me is the time, the time I spent away from my family following this stock only to see this most recent result. I feel like I lost 2 plus more years of my life which I can't get back. I won't make that mistake again."

Thank you Dew. Reading messages like these really help put in perspective what is truly important in life.
VNDA expects Fanapta(TM) (iloperidone) PDUFA Action July 27, 2008
Does anybody here follow VNDA? Should we expect to hear something good or bad on Monday? What are the chances of the action being pushed out?
Does anybody think the Goats can pull it off this year? Or, will this year be like every other year where we say wait until next year?
We need someone like Carl Icahn to throw his weight in the center of this ring and get this company sold.
It pays a nice dividend too cro.
It looks like $0.25 is in the cards. GTCB broke support today and is now going to probe lower levels until it stops going down at which point may find a base to move higher from the lower left the upper right. This is ugly.
Hopefully she was then able to drive where she needed to go.
Cox and Co. have every incentive to keep GTCB out of BK because if that were to happen the newly re-emerged company would have a new CEO and a whole new BOD, so these fat cats would lose there big salaries and I think they want to continue milking it here as long as they can. The bankruptcy fears that people like you stir are humorous, because it just ain't gonna happen because Cox and the BOD like their salaries too much to let it happen. The likely outcome here is more and more dilution so your little piece of the pie will be worth less and less unless this company can get some major cashola in the bank, which I doubt. So the beat, or beat down shall we say goes on....
That's not like you to be on the fence cro, you usually take a hard stance with conviction.
A wise man you are jesse. You hit the nail on the head.
croumagnon, I'm just an animal searching for a home and hoping that this stock will make my dreams come true. And youhooewewewe?
Dew, Are you positive on GTCB because you own it, or do you own GTCB because you are positive on it?
I don't care what you say, you can give it away. I'm looking for a heartbeat.
cleith, This is my desired theme song for GTCB. It's a little cheesy, but totally awesome. Hit it boys....
I am extremely offended. Offended, but hilarious. I love the last part where they all have been stripped of their clothes, as I'm sure that is how many here feel. Very poignant.
Dew, Even though I don't understand what you are saying whatever it is you are saying sounds brillant to me, but for all your brillance the stock trend seems to disagree with your bullishness. I just find it interesting how someone could be so smart and yet so wrong. Please don't take me as coming across snide, I'm really just scratching my head trying to figuare out what went wrong here...
Well I hope you know what you are talking about Dew because I don't understand almost any of your posts, but what I do understand is the stock is moving lower and whatever you are saying in your messages the market doesn't seem to care as GTCB just drifts lower in a chinese water torture fashion. How much longer can this be going on?
There is a trade in here somewhere, but anybody who has owned this stock the past year has just been absolutely murdered and I just don't see anything on the horizon to stop this disasterous trend from continuing. Happy July 4 everyone!
I'm convinced this stock is headed to zero.
johnbits, if you look at the BBH it has held up really well and is trending higher albeit not like the coal stocks which have been moving from the lower left to the upper right on my graph paper.
johnbits, you are the smartest guy here for sure, but at some point the worm will turn here and it doesn't pay to stay negative forever. Good luck as I know it is hard to be a bear in a stampede of bulls. The contrarion bet here has been the right side of the trade.
jesse, GTCB just needs to list themselves on the pink sheets or the OTCBB. I think that is the best thing for this company and it's shareholders at this time. If they want to list on the Nasdaq down the road that's fine, but this shit about a RS has cost shareholders dearly and will continue to cost shareholders until the company has the balls to take a stand or go thru with the RS.
management has done just an awful job of managing the stock. That isn't my opinion, just pull up a damn stock chart.
Everyone who owns this stock is a loser. I own this stock. I am a loser.
I have my GTCB chart pulled up and am walking around a dark room with only the light from my monitor as I burn incense in each corner of the room. Higher! Higher! Higher!
