Sorry, the dems have lost their way to....
We are very tired of your incessant bothsidesism. That is the only point you make here, invalid as is it. Why not actually participate in the conversation?
And here we have something howlingly funny from the Columbia protests:
Reporter grills Columbia student after she demands the university help feed protestors occupying Hamilton Hall:

LOLOL!! Ironic that now Trumpty will have to attend. That will be a first. He didn't go to the high school graduations of any of his other children.
The original is almost as hideous.
That's also true. It isn't just the market that's changed.
It was, of course, originally a place to discuss fraudulent OTC issuers. And now the OTC is pretty much dead. Which in some ways is too bad.
And why do you assume we were "upset"? As noted, we do not agree with you. That's all.
Any chance we could at least MOSTLY discuss the financial markets, and more specifically fraudulent stuff, at least during trading hours?
As with politics, there are a great many sports boards at IHub. You may find this shocking, but some people are uninterested in sports.
i thought I could have a conversation with people here...
You are doing that. You're learning we don't agree with you, and why. So I have no idea why you're going away mad.
Yes. And most of Trump's misstatements were deliberate lies, not simple mistakes.
Lots of people have a terrible memory for names. I know I do.
He's been doing that almost daily for a while now. I'd call it overkill. They should just offer that information at their website. The stock has been on the Reg SHO threshold list for a while now. Many retail shareholders object to shorting on some kind of principle. But if they want to make their shares impossible for Shorty to borrow, they should just put them in a cash account at their brokerage. That's always been an option, and it wouldn't affect their ability to trade that stock at any time, should they want to.
Other options could cause considerable delays, and they should be aware of that.
I got a bridge I wanna sell you
And I've got a correct definition of "constantly" I'd like you to get a grip on.
Yes. Contemptible. And now most of them are back to calling them "patriots".
Ah yes! That was fun!!
orangedonshittypants doesn't seem to be wearing his wedding ring lately.
I don't think he ever wore a ring. Not even when he was married to Ivana.
He's a MAGA....this is what they do.
It is what they do. A bunch of thugs, like their leader. And also like him, they'd be terrified if they got any threats themselves.
And why is Fox the only news station covering the Colombia insurrection right now?
It wasn't. CNN and MSNBC were on site as well. Why do you just make shit up?
There is something badly wrong with you.
Don't be silly. I'd be willing to bet you could count the Trump supporters at Columbia in the dozens. And they wouldn't want to admit to it.
Even without the caption, that is creepy.
No one involved with this studied the lessons of the past, apparently.
lolol... Those students wouldn't like to hear that.
This is NOT a good look for Columbia, or for New York City.
Yes. The southern racists WERE Dems at one time. But that was before the '60s.
The real problem is gerrymandering. And one more night of killer tornadoes in those "Sunbelt" states will persuade more to leave, I think. And we're in for months and months of tornado weather.
I think people have noticed, for some time now ;)
The Trumpkins certainly haven't.
LOLOLOL!!
Manhattan is gaining residents. Despite the cost.
Humph. I don't think so. They did use spoons. I'm not very good with chopsticks, but people who've practiced are just as comfortable with them as they are with forks.
And samurai didn't carry around nunchucks and throwing stars. That was ninjas.
Women carried things in the sleeves of their kimonos. But men didn't seem to wear stuff with big sleeves in that period. I suppose a good deal could be hidden in an obi, though.
All are very good!
Seems riot police are approaching Columbia. The NYPD says it suspects there are non-students inside Hamilton Hall, not just students.
I have work to finish, but... And I need to have some dinner.
Have you ever been to San Francisco? New York? Chicago?
And exactly what would your Trump and MAGAS do to fix any of it?
They'd give more money to the super rich, of course!
Oh ffs. Are you another one gullible enough to believe people get paid if other posters reply to their own posts? Are you unable to see why that makes no sense?
And you think anyone could "make a living" that way?
Alas, Paulie, by then it will be too late. Unless it's a living will.
That is a different problem. In this century, more and more people have been working online. We're supposed to be living in a "gig economy" now. As I read it, that's one that requires nearly everyone to be an entrepreneur looking out for himself. No more iron rice bowls for most workers.
And then came COVID. Even MORE people worked from home, and it seems many of them like it. So there's a great deal of empty office space in our cities. That will cut down on the need for retail stores.
But it nonetheless seems cities like New York are still quite lively. I wouldn't count 'em out yet.
1. Yes, it did rain almost all the time. I don't think that's typical of Japanese weather. I suppose it was an artistic choice.
3. Chopsticks are fine. You just have to practice using them. And probably the folks running the show didn't want people to come to dinner with stabby forks and sharp knives. We did learn that the Japanese of that time were inordinately fond of their swords and stuff. Awkward if they brought them to dinner.
4. I really was surprised that they didn't really seem to have much in the way of furniture. Even beds were just sheets spread on the floor. Without pillows to pillow on. Life must have been uncomfortable.
Well, it IS Manhattan. I guess fans from elsewhere can't be bothered.
As the article said, there are now lots of Dems in or near major Sunbelt cities, increasing prospects for Dem wins in those states.
Personally, I still wouldn't want to live there. I don't like hot weather.
Not a single protest has been taking place outside the courthouse. Where are they?
And he's ASKED them to come! But he claims the area is cordoned off. Which it isn't. There is NOTHING he won't lie about.
Democrats have been moving to the RED states, mainly because the weather and climate change is giving them no choice.
How so? The Red states are precisely those that are suffering the most from climate change. Tornadoes, flooding, extreme heat. People moved to the "Sunbelt" back in the '70s and '80s, as manufacturers moved to places where they didn't have to let their workers unionize.
Election Day is six months away. Too soon for the polls to make any sense. Trumpty thought he'd win last time, too.
I certainly hope he doesn't this time. I really don't like fascists.
