He’s locked up for 2 years, unless he gets it to a $1.00 or gets it listed on NASDAQ. This is probably the most minority-shareholder protective executive agreement for stock compensation they’ve ever drafted, although it also protects the guy with almost 500 mill shs and incentivizes the CEO to get his shares unlocked by getting the price up. Can he do it? Tough to say. Will he be motivated to do it? Hell, yeah.
I get it, though, there’s facts like what is filed with the SEC and then there’s Fake News!…with no basis in reality or fact.
750K would be a really nice price bump. A bump to 750 with positive news could give a really nice jolt.
Thanks for the info. I saw that about Zyris, but I'm still surprised the supply on that was so short in timeframe.
The bottom line is TC is in this for share appreciation.
So I did some analysis based on your find.
Inventory 12/31/20 43K. (WIP 0 FG 43) Cost of Sales 3/31/21 55K. Product Revenue 63K. GP% 12.7%
Inventory 3/31/21. 147K (WIP 25 FG 122) Cost of Sales 6/30/21 154K. Product Revenue 231K GP% 33.3%
Inventory 6/30/21 161K. (WIP 80, FG 81) Cost of Sales 9/30/21. ??? Product Revenue ???
Hopefully, they’re continuing to build up Inventory to turnover into Q3. Tough to tell if this is mostly Zyris, though.
Agreed! Success to ALL!!! “Old timers” and newbies, alike, UNITE IN LQMT TRIUMPH!!! GREAT CALL!!! LOVIN’ THE POSITIVITY!!!!!
TC is in control. He wants to make money. 240K isn't enough. And he can't sell into weakness. There's no volume and nothing to sustain value until they prove consistency of revenue growth.
If a shareholder has no faith in him, they can dump it out and walk away.
The FG and WIP met COS through the whole Q2. We'll see if they build from there with the 33% GP.
Nah, SRLY rules killed that and you can’t CB anymore either.
I’m liking the trashing. I’m thinking the worm may be-a-turnin’!
Their COS was 154K. It’s probably the first Q they’ve had a GP% over 20 and it was 33.
Where was the DTC involved? I searched around, but found nothing. This is freely trading.
P.S. Double-checked - you’re referring to RSU’s treated as settled cash. Yes, that’s standard.
Very true.
Happy Hour tomorrow. Free PM’s.
Great stuff, thanks. And I’m loving the Apple divi’s in my DRIP…
Great to hear! Will try to reach out to you via PM tomorrow. Stay well!
Hang in there! Get a lot of fresh air! Keep the lungs going! And plenty of Vitamin C!
The last time Apple filed a patent was in 2010??? Wow! They need to get out of the Dark Ages!
Who’s “Larry Buffington”? It sounds like a made up name. I like Harry Shmuffington better, I think. That document looks fake.
Always double-check internet “sources” aka “sorcerers” looking to “spin” a tale. I’ll never forget an infamous (I’ll keep the defendant’s name confidential) trial where his attorney said, “The prosecution is looking to spin you a tail!” as he spun his finger at the AUSA’s head like he was crazy. The whole courtroom laughed and the AUSA was thoroughly humiliated. Even the Judge smirked. And yes, I was in the courtroom. It was a classic scene!
Anywho, yeah, so I still wonder if that 11 year old document was all “PDF-altered.” I have never heard of a “Garry Puffington” as CEO of Liquidmetal.
However, yes, agreed, if one buys a stock at .02 or .03 there is more profit than buying at .09.
Well said. This is all true. See ya’ on the dark side, brother…
Well, yeah, there's that, lol, but you have to understand how WIP, FG, and JIT works to analyze what you're trying to say. Good call. Thanks again.
I don't think anyone else figured out what you were trying to say, lol. Figures.
Great call, sir! COS was 154 for the last Q. They pretty much follow JIT for inventory, or, in the past, they just wrote it down. A minimum of 161 COS should hit Q3 with a margin of about 39% should at least equal Q2 revenues, with 3 months to go for a buildup on Inventory for sale. Nice call.
That’s nice work, man. Thanks again. We shall see…
Very true. Thank you.
This is so true. When Apple is having huge supply chain issues, what does that say for any other companies supply chain?
I'm actually a little surprised they were able to do 250k this Q.
Lol, he didn't get beat up...check that, the Fed courts knocked him down and out of Coatings.
I'll never forget someone telling me he allegedly tried to privately buy their shares. I doubt it's legal for a CEO to approach a private investor like that. If true, it just further verifies what a garbage that former CEO is.
At least one sale they’ve got, but they need to grow it organically. Whales can cause problems. They require massive infrastructure and one screw-up and you’re dead - finished.
Nothing to laugh at. After QE 3/31’s 72K of revenue, 243K in this Q looks like a blowout Q, but they have to up it again next Q. They need 3 consecutive Q’s of growing revs to prove some sustainability.
Well, we all know that truth be told,, comments aren't going to make or break LQMT. Hopefully, TC can find a way to get the price up - his history says he likes money from selling.
The fact is, if it's true about Lugee's wealth, he doesn't really need it as much as TC does.
It's actually true. He can't come in to the U.S.
https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/travelers/from-other-countries.html
He's been CEO since 2016, so I'm not sure that 5-1/2 years as CEO would be an abrupt departure.
He wasn't taking a salary either, so I don't see the drain on Company funds, other than clearly an indisputable lack of profitability that maybe he thought he'd give someone else a chance.
TC does like to sell shares at a premium. Most people like to, but if he can flip the switch in 6 months or so, I don’t think a shareholder will complain. He's got 6 months.
If this collapses, he lost 64MM. That’s real money.
Yes, he stepped down, but still has his 400MM+ shares. He really didn’t get anything done as CEO. Maybe he thought it was time. The price speaks to how good a CEO he was here, so maybe he felt TC could get something done. I don’t think TC will be happy with 9-10 cent shares.
