Thanks Gleno. Looks like it is on the tipping scale of opportunity to me. I agree that earnings will tell us. If Bidu breaks 156, it is clear skies ahead. If it can't break 156, great short entry.
Out @ .65 = 50%
Poker - Thanks for your reply. I agree with everything you have said and have come to the same conclusion over the last few years.
North - I do like what you have to say, and agree wholeheartedly. You are fortunate that the tuition for your child's school is only $200 a month. Here in central CA, it is $1,100 a month. Your discipline is evident in your trading system :)
Foot - yes I have always thought it was such a waste to have a great church facility and only use it a couple hours a week.
Jake - You are correct. The teacher can strongly suggest retention. But if the parent says no, the school can not retain.
Poker -
You are right. What this district and teachers did was absolutely wrong. But before you make broad statements about how overpaid and uncaring teachers are, how about volunteering a few hours a week in a class this year? In fact, I would love for you to come my third grade class! I welcome all suggestions on how to get my students to learn. In the past 15 years I have tried everything I know. I have asked my administration and fellow teachers and they are all out of answers.
Before you give me your suggestions, there are a few things to consider:
1) every student will come in reading 1 to 3 levels below grade level and will be 1 to 3 levels below in math too. Remember this is third grade, so some can only read words like: a, the, cat
2) about 30% come in late, so they will miss this first part of the lesson everyday or they are absent and miss all the lessons for that day
3) about 50% of the parents don't speak english, so communication requires getting an interpreter
4) 80% are not made to mind at home, so they don't think they have to at school.
5) About 2 out of 30 parents help their student with homework
6) every week your Principal is reminding you that if the test scores don't come up, the state will come in
I am very serious about my offer Poker. If you can help me, I'll take it :)

Blasher,
Check your email.
Blasher - watching FCX with this system. It is on the cusp of going either way on the 10, 15, 30 minute time frames and in a cash position on the 60 minute. Could be a trend developing on the 60 minute once it breaks one way or the other.

Blasher,
I agree with your last sentence, "I enjoyed your commentary and I think we all learned a lot from it."
Even though we are all "virtual" acquaintances, one's character is always visible.

Good post!
Foot- She should run for President, not VP!
Watching RIMM for a bounce next week. No other reason than
1)it has fallen about 30pts in 3 months
2)divergance on daily chart.
Very cool Foot!
Ron,
I'm so sorry for what you and your wife are going through. My prayers are with you.

Working on a MacBook Air, which I love. But the screen is small.
Your solution worked perfect, thanks!
It's the QQQ_15min_w_BuySell
The chart blows up, but not big enough for these old eyes to make the details out, LOL.
I need it about twice as big!
Blasher, please send me chart #2 from your recent posting when you have time. I am having a hard time reproducing it.
My project is coming along very nice.
Tictac
Blasher,
What time frame does your signal use? 15min? 30 min?
Thanks,

I am not a subscriber, but I was sent this today by NEoWave.
February 22, 2011 – Today, the U.S. stock market experienced a major selloff, falling more than 2%. According to Glenn Neely, Wave theory expert and founder of NEoWave Institute, this confirms the end of the rally off November 30, 2010’s low and probably the end of the bull market that began at 2009’s low.
Recently, Mr. Neely warned subscribers to the NEoWave Trading and Forecasting services that a “major event” was on the horizon. In preparation, Mr. Neely instructed trading customers to go Short, right at last Friday’s high and clsoe, which is currently top-tick of the month!
Applying NEoWave’s advanced market confirmation techniques, Mr. Neely explains that today’s collapse confirms the end of an old pattern and the start of a new one. This new pattern suggests a 1- to 2-year bear market has begun and will likely result in a 30+% drop in market valuation.
While economic conditions have improved greatly since 2009’s low, NEoWave warns a new downturn (lasting 1- to 2-years) is beginning. As is always the case, markets anticipate future economic reality. While news has been improving, wave structure warns the U.S. stock market has turned a corner, setting the stage for an “echo” of the 2008/2009 financial crisis – but this time with a new twist. Instead of financial institutions and real estate markets being devastated, Mr. Neely suspects the most likely justification for this future market decline will be severe financial problems for federal, state and local governments. The result could be local and national transportation disruptions, public service problems and government employee layoffs around the country. Other circumstances that might justify a 30+% decline in the stock market could be a substantial increase in the cost of energy or a drastic increase in the value of the U.S. dollar (i.e. deflation).
What's the blog address?
SHG - Would you put more weight on a 2 HR or 4 HR chart using RSI2? Or would it matter? How far out would you buy options?
I have scanned many charts this weekend and the majority are >95 on the 4HR chart including the $SPX
These are >95 on both 2HR/4HR chart: GNW, GILD, SUN
Here are some >95 on 4HR chart: CAT, CVX, TNA, ERX, AMZN, GE, CRM, HD, HPQ, JNJ, OXY, TIF, TIE, X, BA, DECK, TYH
The only <5 I found on 4HR chart: FAZ
Crosswinds,
Thanks for the charts. If you could only have two indicators on your 30 charts, which would they be?
Tictac
Belgie - I'd like to learn any information on how you trade leap options.
Thanks,

PCLN - Earnings last night. Just think....that gap will be filled sometime :D
Tictac
BG just appeared that it would fill the gap in an up market. That is what I think will happen with AKAM, YHOO, CL, BAC, GNW, ITT, WFR. I'm not saying I'm buying options on all these....just that they are likely to fill their gaps if $SPX continues up.
Many stocks gapped up this morning. I'm expecting them to pull back to fill their gaps, then continue up....like CREE, BIDU, ERX. But of course I could be wrong....they may not fill their gaps.
Still watching AKAM.
Bought BG Friday @ .50 out today @ 1.25
Looking to re-enter on a pullback.
How do you like BG and AKAM calls on these gaps?
Have Sept bids in on both and looking to add to YHOO.
Yep....we'll see. I've a got a little cushion, bought a few days ago.
