IMO there are way too many Puts in place to have a crash. This was the most expected sell off in history.
I'm with you longer term, we are still deflating and will be for a few years. Near term I am on the Bullish side but not saying today is a bottom but we should be close.

The problem is the Prez doesn't have a clue how to lead. Been through this with corporate America where analytical leadership means "I tell you what to do, you do what I tell you and you are a team player"..... I was always confused with the term "Team Player". I thought it was "Everyone doing what is best for the Company".... my bad, like this situation, it is being submissive to a dictator...... Until the leadership does what is best for America, there will be conflict like this. I do think that Obama is showing how little he knows, which is why he is not relying on principles, but on name calling and bully parental speech which is never productive in negotiations.... He is not coming from a position of strength but of weakness. "Think Peace" or other slogans don't work in the real world.

This prez is far left and has lost touch with most of America. Guess with the huge money that he will have to advertise next year he can again develop slogans and class envy to get the weak minded to vote for him again. Bachmann/Rubio should be the magic combo or Perry/Rubio and there will be a landslide and hopefully change we can believe in..... I have to hope for that.
