I have come to believe that wars that the United States have been involved in post Korea were necessary in the larger perspective. Even as they seemed unjust and unnecessary at the time. Uncle Ho asked Uncle Sam to side with Vietnam against the French. That was a USA failure not to side with Ho Che Minh but allowed a proxy war against the USSR. But was a total tragedy on both sides. Only that which outgoing President Eisenhower warned of for the upcoming Vietnam conflict in his farewell speech " Beware of the Military Industrial Complex." Pres. Johnson and Nixon were all in on Vietnam. This MIC championed by Dick Cheney got the USA under the GWB admin into long lasting wars.
Every other War had at least a semblance of Justice at the core. USA chose all the other wars. The United States will not chose and will not want the next one. These smaller conflicts at the edges of geopolitical hot zones have dissipated some of the energy/friction that existed. Now Russia fails not against NATO and US Soldiers just the equipment. China has to know the United States will fight and win a war of Justice. I do not care if the next President is Pete Buttigieg the people of the United States demand Justice. Time after time the competency of everyday Americans have compensated for weak leaders. Taiwan is a flash point. What would Ronald Reagan do? That is right, B1s B52s in the Philippines. Whether Hot or Cold it might involve sacifices not endured since the second world war. USA might be better off with less trade with China.
BTW ..all accounts of Ho Che Minh suggest he was a total evil criminal but not as bad as Mao. So Fxxx all those guys. Ask Germans about Gen George Marshall and Japan about Gen Douglas McArthur and how that worked out for them in post War reconstruction.
There is a situation where this could be a red flag.
There is a gross and flagrant aberration in Securities Laws which allows Publically Traded Companies to tell potential pipe investors of an intent to sell them shares and the price range beforehand, then those potential investors can dump there loss harvest holdings and replace them 30+ days later with the newly minted shares. Or simply short sale the shares and cover with the newly minted ones. Hard to believe this is allowed under FINRA regulations until one realizes FINRA is a Industry self regulation authority. The rational to let this happen is that "without this provision/exception these companies could not raise money." So CEOs make a career out of these types of deals and all perfectly acceptable to FINRA. FINRA is the self regulation authority that allows basically unlimited short selling as long as the account has equity in excess of $25 million. Therefore a capitalistic strategy of some hedge funds is to for instance as follows: Take $100 mil of investors money and open a fund. Then short sell $1 billion ( more or less) of small struggling companies stock netting $1 billion of cash in the account to invest in portfolio of bonds and stable dividend paying Blue Chips stocks. A prudently invested account of stocks and bonds should yield 5 to 7% income. However since the the account is highly leveraged 100 million to 1 billion now yields 50-70%. The hedge funds takes by contract 30% off the top for being in the FINRA cabal and the Fund investors get 30% returns more or less depending on the performance of the hedge fund. Hedge fund losses or belly up is 100% borne by the investors.
NWBO is not implicated in this.
Yes it does. Linda Powers signaled this with the Lawsuit against the Market Makers. Dr. Bosch wrote this rebuff/refute reply to the British Novacure promoter Doctor very soon after that Doctor published it. The NWBO lawyers then parsed over Dr. Bosch's refutation and seeing no SEC regulations problems and ensuring enough hours billed by the law firm allowed it to be released.
..
a protien in lyposomes called PDL3 .....contributes to ALZ...
Blarcamisine is postulaed to target these "misfolded" protiens.
Good digging Amatuer....sounds like these Yale Scientists are validating Anavex science.
No you were not duped. Go back review everythring. Or just relax. Recent highs will be reached in 18 months. $2 to $6 in two years.
What is "The Crucible of War"
NWBO is in that position and the stresses are tremendous.
The Crucible of War measures DRIVE.
The name of the game is attracting funding therefore one's own research are touted by the various researchers.
Awsome posts! Then and now. Great to read the post of the true Maverick_1 and not those of the posers.
I was sure that you did. I was just pointing that out for the more casual follower. You gave me an opening.
I agree. The chart is showing the clear possiblity of a major trend reversal to the upside.
Deepest condolences Tagalong. My dear friend of 50 years was taken by GBM just last year. I can not help but think if not the Godless greed of shortsellers with their knees on the neck of NWBO for the last decade he may have had a chance.
.
No one knows whether the "Tumor modifying electrical/magnetic fields" of the Novocure technology would be synergestic with DCVax-L but it is worth a trial as the NVCR device does have some demonstrable effect, just insufficient on its own to provide much more than hope.
Checkpoint Inhibitors and PolyIC in combo with DCVax make more sense however and come with benefits to BPs therefore funding for the trials.
Rodger that, Idunno.
LP has been and is absolutely heroic.
Well said. Sooner or later bullies will meet their match. LP up against the Wall Street bullies, there will be a fight. By the time the suit is resolved at trial i firmly believe LP and NWBO will be well funded for the appelate fights to follow. I suspect this litigation will.last for over five years and may generate some headlines in maim stream media. LP is not looking for a settlement. She will demand a full measure of Justice. That means trials and appeals.
Things might get bloody and could possibly become a spectical. To many it might be of more interest than the Liz Holmes/Theranos spectical.
Technically yes Advent has the certification. And they are bound be contract to manufacture for NWBO in NWBO's factory. It is a fabulous thing that NWBO's contractor is approved by the Regulator. So for practical purposes the distinction practically meaningless.
It is a good thing that there are not institutions that own large chunks of NWBO lest they try to force their will Carl Icahn style
One would have no idea who is stealthly accumulating shares. Institutions do not have to report less than 5% holdings. 5% would be 55 Million shares. Let that sink in. Institutions do own NWBO just less than 5% each.
.
CRL buying Advent does not get them flaskworks only the contract that Advent has with NWBO. CRL could make a contract with NWBO to use flaskworks in Memphis or elsewhere
NWBO owns Flaskworks. Am I missing something?
Intuitively, I think not. As there are many drugs approved by the FDA that are manufactured overseas. Maybe FDA might want to certify Sawston as it is a cell/biologic. But one would think that some respect would be granted to the British regulator by the FDA.
Very thoughtful. Now consider this. The cancer that NWBO initially went after was an "Orphan" ie. RARE. Even so the addressable is multi Billions USD. In GBM there are no current BP add on drugs to SOC as in drugs like Keytruda.
Next up for DCVax will undoubtably be a MAJOR Cancer of high incidence as in Breast, Lung, Colon, Protate, Ovarian. DCVax-L or Direct in combo with a BP add on to SOC in one of these much more prevalent and geometrically larger USD markets and yet "Easier to Treat" in some instances Cancer Indications MIGHT LEAD to outstanding shocking effacacy.
To those that are chagrined at the seamingly perplexing lack on market appreiciation for NWBO on milestones might be surprized at the Market ground swells that erupt on good trial results in one of these Major Cancers even in mid stage trials.
Hold your seats the show is just getting started.
I agree the low price of NWBO is a blessing to those that are slowly accumulating additional shares. I often see that these types of price suppression occur when there are professionals/institutions acculmulating shares as well. Often one sees the opposite when Institutionions and venture funds are distributing (selling shares aquired cheaply through offerings) that the share price will continue to rise and the Wall Street analysts continue to tout the stock as the big boys sell their many millions. Then when they are finished selling the artifical price supports fade and the stock price fades as well. I suspect that NWBO is under accumulation by connected funds and that once they have their fill ( and run off enough weak longs) that NWBO stock will rise towards its truer valuation.
You might have your math reversed. Naked shorts would in total add to the total market cap in theory if they are forced to cover as there are a finite number of issued shares. By selling naked short shares they skimmed off of the market cap. When they are forced to buy them back they create extra demand for real shares. Understand now how short selling surpresses market cap?
I seriously doubt that you will be surprized to Book a 10x by 2025 on your cost average. Your high point stock purchase being reached in a flash over might surprize you however. Flash over's surprize almost everyone and often come out of the blue. Acually that would a very cheap valuation of NWBO.
Excellent thoughts and delivery.
Fireman did not bail on NWBO. He did a swing trade on May 8 and bought those shares back.
Go NWBO.
I do not know I was able to open a Solo 401k at Fidelity but for the Roth401k I had to go somewhere else.
I look forward to seeing your new calculations.
Aperture007 we my be approaching the a hockey stick part of the Market Cap appreciation curve you predicted almost 2 years ago. Remember it does not take RA approval or partnership/BO to do this many stocks like this flash over in just a few months on market realization of potential.
Yes that is correct. Morgan Stanley Smith Barney "Living and Giving" accounts allow loans at prime plus 1% but trading is discouraged in favor of wealth management services. Dividends accumulate but those are subject the income tax. Prime plus one debt cards as it is a secured card. Trading accounts are held outside in Etrade or others and no charge to transfer assets in or out. Tax and estate planning are emphasized.
If I was a trader which I am not, I would hedge my NWBO holdings with a short position on Novacure in a pairs trade. But I never short sell anything. RISK enough to advance a long position that can be held for 5 years or decades. Long positions require just proper DD and PATIENCE. No squeeze or speculation required. In the last 8 years I bought into an OTC stock at $4.xx and accumulated over the years paying higher and lower prices. As high as $9 on a spike and held over the years adding on dips. Bought a boat load at the low of $1.26 December 2018. Eighteen months later AVXL traded above $30 on no approval or partnership. AVXL was and is a heavily manipulated stock same as NWBO. That followed the same pattern as Arrowhead 2 years earlier sub $2 to $70 plus inside of 3 years. Both 20x in less than 2 years.
NWBO has greater potential than any other stock I had vision on. NWBO is approaching the hockey stick 18 month market cap appreciation phase and it could flash over in an instant like CPXX (Celator) did in 2014 on partnership then buyout 30x in 8 weeks.
In it to win it. Go Big or go home. NWBO.
Novocure sounding desperate and despairing. Maybe thinking their donations to AL M Fondation came with quid pro quo of forfeiture of Al's integrity.
Exactly. Synergistic profit multiples for NWBO and the partner.
Indeed NWBO checks all the boxes for explosive market cap expansion. No squeeze required. Just patience and a willingness to accumulate.
Fidelity has commission free trades for OTC PLUS Fidelity owns their own Clearing firm FNS so no Citadel. My other brokers charge a $6.99 fee but free for other stocks. Fidelity will not hold Roth401ks same as Schwab now no Roth401k at TDA anymore since bought by Schwab. Etrade now owned by Morgan Stanley is one of last discount brokers to hold Roth 401k.
If posted without authorization best practice is to have it taken down sensitive or not as encroaching on the exclusive rights of the company.
This alludes to an important tax management strategy that one would be well served to consider. The taxable account, tax deferred (IRA, 401k etc.) and after tax money invested/never taxed on withdrawal (Roth IRA and Roth 401k)
Or simply patience and adding consistently over long period of time. When the stock is down and has great potential in the future then add further when stock is down wait 31 days and sell one's most expensive lots then wait another 31 days and buy them back in Roth/Roth401ks or IRA/401ks once maxed out buy in taxable brokerage. If there is something looks like a short term spike or squeeze sell in the Tax Advantaged accounts then can buy in those accounts with no tax implications immediately. One can build a tax cushion of harvested losses in the taxable accounts at the same time (30 days later) as getting better prices in the tax advantaged accounts. This is not the difficult thing of timing the market but the easy thing of letting the market time your allocations between accounts. The key as in all investment is proper DD an most of all patience. Good luck to long investors of NWBO.
Improbable but not impossible, it happens. A full buyout might not be agreeable to NWBO Management at all. But if that is in the cards, which I doubt, then I direct your attention to the meteoric rise of CPXX.. 30x in a matter of weeks on partnership then total buyout about 6 weeks later.
Many 25-30x in 18 month's on no buyout at all. AVXL ARWR and others in the last few years.
I expect NWBO to 25x organically with no partnership or buyout in 18 months or less from now. But prepared to weather further storms for 5 years and accumulate along the way. Approval of DCVax-L is not the end of the fight it will just be as transition from Gorilla warfare to fully Mechanized efforts to occupy the field of Cancer Therapy. Imagine if NWBO sells 5x the market heretofore captured by Keytruda while also expanding Keytruda and others 2-5x all to the detriment of early generation Chemo and Radiation Therapy. NWBO is destined to be a key player in combo with other late generation drugs like Keytruda and Optivo. I envision multiple partnerships. One can think of DCVax -L and Direct as the socket wrench and various combos as the various sockets that are attached to the wrench to turn the tough nuts of heretofore intractable cancers.
If the Feds jump in with a criminal action or investigations that interviews or subpoenas targets the Judge in the civil action will have no choice but to stay the civil actions and all discovery until the criminal investigations and or actions are resolved on 5th Amendment principals.
OK well I am sure you will gladly pay on Tuesday for a hamburger today. Joking. :)
No of course not. Short shares must be redeemed with cash at the current share price.
