Stiiiillll here, just silently reading posts.
Doug
Rab, please knock off the swear words--especially the F-word. Thanks.
Doug
Hey Jagman, don't know if you've bought any shares of HL, but another mining company with nearly identical chart and record earnings is CDE (also based out of Coeur D'Alene, ID). Good luck.
Doug
Thanks Bob, time for some DD.
Doug
Good article Bob, thanks. I have shares in my IRA of CDE and I'm thinking of adding more. Any other silver miners out there interesting you at the moment?
Doug
Thanks for the info Ray....
Thanks Chad
Stuffed some more into my IRA this morning. This month we break break the 7.50 barrier?.......
Ray, I also see this as a buying op. I'm waiting to see what happens tomorrow before I buy some more though. Coeur is still looking great for the long term in my view---all in my opinion.
Doug
Thanks Ray---good article.
Doug
Hell Aqua, if I could tell you when and what price, I'd be a millionaire--I don't claim to be that good. However, the 200ma is coming up (just busted through the 50ma the past couple of days), if it can hold that, fine---if not, then .08 is the next support. The CMF has tanked, PPO went negative, and the RSI hasn't hit oversold yet. With the way this company puts out press releases, my money is that it'll dip down to .08 or lower. This is just my "opinion" guys, so don't go throwing tomatos at me! There's my "vision".
Doug
Sorry Rab, this baby's going down some more......then I'll buy--right after JT.
Doug
Ditto....
Me too JT! I'll buy some more later. You can bet with no news or financials, it'll drop.
Coeur Reports Record Results for Fourth Quarter 2005; Forecasts 30% Increase in Silver Production in 2006; Provides Update on Two Development Projects
By PR Newswire
Last Update: 3/7/2006 8:31:33 AM Data provided by
Mar 07, 2006 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX/ -- Coeur d'Alene Mines Corporation (CDE) (CDM), the world's largest primary silver producer and a growing gold producer, today reported record quarterly net income of $9.9 million, or $0.04 per diluted share, for the fourth quarter of 2005, compared to net income of $8.3 million, or $0.03 per diluted share, for the year-ago period. Results for the year-ago quarter included a tax benefit of $5.8 million.
For the full year 2005, the company reported net income of $10.6 million, or $0.04 per diluted share, compared to a net loss of $16.9 million, or $0.08 per diluted share, for 2004.
Revenues for the fourth quarter and full year of 2005 reached all-time highs. Revenue for the fourth quarter of 2005 was $54.8 million, a 22 percent increase compared to revenue of $44.8 million in the year-ago period. Revenue for the full year of 2005 was $172.3 million, a 30 percent increase compared to revenue of $132.8 million in the year-ago period.
In commenting on the company's performance, Dennis E. Wheeler, Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer, said, "The company reported an all-time record level of quarterly net income in the fourth quarter of 2005 due in large measure to solid overall operating performance in a market characterized by strong demand and robust price levels."
Wheeler added, "We are seeing the benefits of our strategy to significantly increase our low-cost production ounces, reserves, cash flow and resulting earnings, a strategy that was strengthened by our 2005 Australian acquisitions. Our cash cost per ounce of silver remained very competitive and actually showed a 30 percent decline during the second half of 2005 as compared with the first six months of the year."
Coeur currently expects 2006 silver production to be approximately 18 million ounces, a 31 percent increase over the level of 2005, and depending on the outcome of the company's review of strategic alternatives for Coeur Silver Valley in Idaho. The company expects a consolidated silver cash cost per ounce of approximately $4.11 per ounce, approximately 4 percent below the consolidated cash cost for 2005. The company expects full-year gold production to be approximately 129,000 ounces.
MM = Market Maker. If someone can offer you a guarantee for buying low & selling high--laugh at them. Either they are tring to sell you a product or they think they have the market down pat (and if they did they probably wouldn't be playing in the penny world). I suggest you go to www.stockcharts.com. They have a section on chart reading/definitions to get you going. You can always search the web for other questions. get ready for ALOT of info/learning (by the way, Alan Webber disects a chart pretty damn good). Good luck.
Doug
Thanks for the insight Alan.

TOO FUNNY!!! Did I touch a nerve?! 300%....I think you should have your high school teacher look over your figures in class today--your decimal may be off a few places! Oh ya, I did pick up some more to ADD to my position at .075. Better hurry up, you don't want to miss your hooked on phonics class.
Get real POT. If there "are so many other stocks" out there "going to dollars", then why would you waste your time here when you could be making bank? Your mouth runs faster than your brain--and that 'aint sayin much. I don't mind if you keep posting here and crying for someone to buy your shares, but you should just re-evaluate your purchase and decide to stay in or out. Tell you what, why don't you just sell Monday, purchase one of the stocks going to dollars and smile all the way to the bank?
I would call it traders. In 'n out.
Great game, but Youngs knee was down when he pitched the ball (should've never been a touchdown). It was exciting to watch though!
....0.20 cents--gee, I'll be back to break even--OH JOY!
Thanks Harr.
Anyone have any insight as to what went on today?
Hey JT, I'm still here and read every post. Thanks for your input and DD on the company. Still have all my shares.
Doug
Happy Thanksgiving all.........I'm still here.....
It's really burnin' up the level II this morning.....
OT...Did anyone get into the IPO of BIDU?
Sun, why don't you put CTGLF in your favorites. That way when you just want to go to the new "unread" messages, just click on it and it'll bring you right to the message so you don't have to "scroll and scroll".
As far as JT withholding information, just send him your e-mail address and he'll send the info.
Now if CTGLF could get some volume this morning, it may go somewhere!........Have a good weekend everyone.......
Thanks again Doub--I didn't buy any ADZR yesterday but they just pulled the rug out from under it a couple minutes ago and I grabbed some.
Thanks Doub. Not looking for a great run out of it, just back to the .13/.15 range it was trading at to scrape some cash out of it(although I wouldn't mind a runner).
Thanks for your thoughts Doub.
