Highlights

Generated revenue of US$3.3 million in Q3 2023.
Produced 1,079 gold equivalent ounces (1) and sold 1,722 gold equivalent ounces (1) in Q3 2023.
Incurred exploration expenditures totaling US$0.79 million in Q3 2023.
The permitting process for the advancement of the Calcatreu project continues and once the new government, national and provincial, takes office on December 10, 2023 it is expected that the permitting process will follow the timeline of the legislation.

(1) Consisting of 828 gold and 20,508 silver ounces of production and 1,294 gold and 34,879 silver ounces sold, converted to a gold equivalent using a ratio of the average spot market price for the commodities each period. The Chinese Russians North Koreans and Iranians wouldn’t care to much for me if I was president or influential leadership in Congress.

Because I would act and act decisively. There wouldn’t be within 1 year, not one Chinese company in the USA. They wouldn’t own any land either and banned also from our capital markets and no getting around it through LLC’s or INC’s.

I’d like to see another 30-50 new true 100% USA exclusively mining outfits be created here in the United States - while it’s ok to have the Canadians here amongst us - We really need 100% USA controlled mining corps.

I think with the China situation and other communist countries strategically attempting to dominate metals and rare earths - that we need to start getting 100% new USA mining corps off ground and start snapping up resources here and globally.

It’s time to start defeating foreign entities in mining. It’s against our core strategic interests. Across the board every metal out there. Dominate it.

Imo we need to block any and all Chinese investments into the USA. It’s time USA politicians start understanding the threat and take preventive measures it’s against our interests. Revoke all Chinese students from all universities as well. Kick every Chinese listed companies - not being audited off our markets and no longer have access to our capital markets. We need to change the laws and now.

We need to wake up and it should have been 10-15 years ago. We’re literally at a disadvantage and we have to roll back any investments out of the USA and revoke any corps with interests in our markets. China can’t have it both ways any longer. Close out and terminate every Chinese company vested into the USA. That includes every company and every industry. Congress needs to act and prevent ever again any Chinese company from buying an American Company period.

Go full throat at them. Enough. I mean it - revoke every deal they have here in states. Boot their spies out through our universities who are stealing our intellectual property.

Bring McCarthyism back, this time, it is real. Look at our president and his kid? They close their markets to us, built their military and attempt to dislodge us as a global power through economics.

Congress should take action, stop bickering, STFU, and start working together to void every Chinese controlled company here in USA. They can’t buy land either. Nada. Send the message. Right one.

If I had it my way, I’d build 4-5 new aircraft carriers and base their butts in EXCLUSIVELY in phillipines, Guam, Japan loaded with 120 aircraft each, thousands of missiles, build another 40-50 subs and base same areas, bring in 250,000 troops FT. Put them in their back yard. Kick their asses out of fake islands in China Sea. If they attempt to build any more- sink their crap. Attempt to bully anymore ships and smaller governments around them - don’t tolerate it.

receipt of the final analytical results from drilling at the Monte Leon (“MLN”) target near its
Cap Oeste (“Capo”) mine in the Santa Cruz province of southern Argentina.


Highlights

Results from samples from 28 new HQ core holes, prepared and analyzed by Alex Stewart
International (Figure 1, Table 1) in their Mendoza, Argentina facilities.
To date, a total of 5,601.64 meters in 33, HQ-sized core holes have been completed at MLN.
Favorable analyses were received from all but 3 of the 28 new, HQ core holes.
Results from 4,678.64 meters of drilling are reported in this news release (MLN-875-D through MLN- 902-D).
Gold (“Au”) values up to 132.9 g/t and silver (“Ag”) values up to 46.7 g/t, within 5 meters grading
45.5 g/t Au and 14 g/t Ag, were reported in samples from core hole MLN-896-D.

Central banks had their eyes on gold last year, purchasing 1,136 tonnes — the most since
1967, according to the World Gold Council (WGC). This also marked the second-highest
level on record going back to 1950 and was a more than 150% increase from last year.

The WGC's Gold Demand Trends report from Q4 revealed that central banks bought an additional 417 tonnes of gold, following Q3's massive purchase of 445 tonnes.

"Geopolitical uncertainty and high inflation were highlighted as key reasons for holding gold," the WGC said in a report published Tuesday.

Central banks are paying attention to gold because of how it performs during times of crisis and its role as a long-term store of value. "It's hardly surprising then that in a year scarred by geopolitical uncertainty and rampant inflation, central banks opted to continue adding gold to their coffers and at an accelerated pace," the report pointed out.

The last time there was so much gold buying by central banks, the U.S. dollar was still backed by gold.

"Central bank purchases are highlighting the fact that gold remains a very important asset in the monetary system. Even though gold is not backing currencies anymore, it is still being utilized. Why? Because it is a real asset," Juan Carlos Artigas, Global Head of Research at the World Gold Council, told Kitco News.

Most of the 1,136 tonnes total was once again "unreported," said the report. "Echoing Q3, data for the final quarter of the year was again a combination of reported purchases and a substantial estimate for unreported buying," the report highlighted.

$Great Panther Mining Limited (TSX:GPR) (NYSE-A:GPL) ("Great Panther" or the "Company"), a growing gold and silver producer focused on the Americas, announces that it has entered into an At-the-Market Offering Agreement (the "ATM Agreement") of up to $25 million (the "Offering" or "ATM Facility") dated October 15, 2021 , with H.C. Wainwright & Co., LLC (the "Agent"). This offering replaces the Company's prior US$25 Million At-the-Market offering, which expired on August 3, 2021 .

An At-The-Market offering is a valuable tool to have in place in order to access the public market at market prices with significantly reduced costs.
The Company can determine, at its sole discretion, the date, price and number of common shares of Great Panther ("Common Shares") to be sold through the Agent under the ATM Facility.
The Common Shares will be distributed at prevailing market prices from time to time. Sales of the Common Shares will be made in "at-the-market distributions", as defined in National Instrument 44-102, directly on the NYSE American Stock Exchange ("NYSE American") or on any other existing trading market in the United States.
No offers or sales of Common Shares will be made in Canada on the
Toronto Stock Exchange or other trading markets in Canada .

The Company is not required to sell any Common Shares during the term of the ATM Facility, therefore total gross proceeds from the ATM Facility could be significantly less than US$25 million .
The ATM Agreement does not restrict the Company from conducting other
financings.

The Company intends to use the net proceeds of the Offering, if any, for the Company's operational and capital expenditures, debt repayment, to maintain its working capital balances and for general corporate purposes.

$The TSX has conditionally approved the ATM Facility.
The Common Shares under the ATM Facility have been approved for listing
by the NYSE American, subject to notice of issuance.

The Company will pay to the Agent a placement fee for Common Shares sold under the ATM Agreement and will reimburse certain expenses of the Agent.

Third Quarter 2021 Production Highlights

Consolidated metal production of 22,444 gold equivalent ounces ("Au eq oz"), inclusive of 18,423 gold ounces ("Au oz") and 280,245 silver ounces ("Ag oz")
Total gold production at Tucano of 16,325 Au oz
Total silver equivalent production at Topia of 242,028 silver equivalent ounces ("Ag eq oz")
Total silver equivalent production at the GMC of 278,073 Ag eq oz
Urucum Central South ("UCS") pushback activities completed in late September 2021
"Third quarter production was lower than planned primarily because of low ore tonnage from Tucano. The Tucano mine contractor experienced maintenance issues, which led to poor fleet availability, resulting in lower mined tonnage and a delay in the completion of the UCS pushback activities," stated Rob Henderson , President and CEO of Great Panther. "The delay at UCS was also affected by significantly higher-than-average rainfall. The pushback at UCS is now complete and we are working with our mine contractor to resolve equipment availability issues. During the quarter we stayed the course, however, and continued investing as planned. Stripping activities at TAP AB are advancing and we are executing on our extensive exploration program to position Tucano for future growth and production."

Operational Update

During the quarter, precipitation levels in northern Brazil were approximately 25% higher than historical averages. In September, movement was detected in the west wall of the UCS pit and to ensure safety for workers mining was suspended for four days until conditions were deemed stable. Vertical drains are currently being installed in the west wall of the UCS pit to reduce water levels and are expected to be in place by late November in preparation for the rainy season, typically the first half of the year.

A new mine design has been implemented allowing mining activities to safely continue on the east side of the UCS pit. Strict safety protocols are followed at all times, including radar monitoring for wall movement, prisms and drone surveys, to ensure the health and safety of workers.

Production at GMC and Topia during the quarter was approximately 21% behind plan. The implementation of the new labour laws in Mexico resulted in delays in tonnage mined as contractors adjust to the new requirements. In addition, production at GMC was primarily from historically mined areas and actual tonnages available were lower than estimated.

At GMC, the Company does not expect to receive approval to expand the tailings storage facility ("TSF") prior to reaching the current capacity of the TSF in December 2021 . Contingency plans are being evaluated to process GMC ore at third-party facilities in 2022 and evaluation of longer-term tailings storage solutions are underway.

On August 18, 2021 , the Peruvian government introduced a new Mine Closure Law (Law No. 31347). The new law contemplates increases to the mine closure bond requirement applicable to all mining companies in Peru . Whereas previously companies were required to provide bonds to cover "Final" and "Post-Closure" stages of the Mine Closure Plan, under the amended law the bonding requirement is inclusive of "Progressive Closure" costs (i.e., closure activities during the operation of the mine) for the main components of the mine. The law does not provide details such as specific costs, or the timing of payment or form of collateral to be provided, and these details are expected to be described in new regulations that are expected to be published by mid-November 2021 . Prior to publication of the new regulations, the Company cannot estimate with certainty the amount or timing of incremental closure bond requirements for Coricancha.

As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to evolve, the Company maintains a high degree of vigilance across all its operations. Although cases at the Company's mine sites remain low and vaccinations are progressing, strict health and safety protocols remain in place.

The Company started with reverse circulation (“RC”) drilling in June 2021, which was suspended due to adverse winter weather conditions compounded by COVID-19 restrictions and poor rock conditions encountered.
Assessment of the development viability of the Cap Oeste underground project, with the treatment of the material at the Martha plant, will commence after an evaluation of results from the drill program at the Monte Leon gold/silver project. This drill program identified new sulphide mineralization that may augment the existing, high-grade component of Cap Oeste’s measured mineral resources and indicated mineral resources of 478,000 tonnes grading 19.4 Au grams per tonne.

I have been looking at that too montanore.

You are spot on bob. We talked about this what 5+ years ago. It has gotten worse every year and for every dollar US Govt prints, we are in debt .58...it is the point of no return.

I have watched for decades, and gold will be extremely valuable, much more so than last 10 years.

I do plan seriously, acquiring 1-3 small gold mines- that can be mined, out here in the west. Something on a very small limited basis. Producing ones own gold/silver imo, even in small amounts, is something that’s more attractive for myself, than buying it on open market. However, I already have held gold for 30+ years and pallets of silver bars.

But, I see there is value for anyone in buying in open market today.

The way the politics in this country has declined in good will toward each other bud, no more working on behalf of we the people. Sadly I have seen some very dark clouds out on horizon for far too long, anc they are nearing us.

I just pray, people have enough liquid assets, cash on hand, more importantly, bullion. If not, it may not be a very safe, healthy life for masses of millions. I pray we wake up as citizens, and demand as taxpayers that our government reduce the federal deficits, shrink size of government, cut back on entitlements and get back to American citizens in control of their cities, towns, states and fed government.

If we fail as citizens to prepare, all we can do is prepare ourselves in the end, that’s all one has.

I might up one day, starting a public traded company. If I do, I’ll def let you know.

The U.S. is headed for bankruptcy and economic decline, and the best way to protect your wealth is with gold, said Yaron Brook, managing partner of BHZ Capital.

Brook is the best-selling author of several books, including “Free Market Revolution: How Ayn Rand's Ideas Can End Big Government”. He is the chairman of the board at the Ayn Rand Institute and is host of the Yaron Brook Show.

Speaking with Michelle Makori, editor-in-chief of Kitco News, on the sidelines of the Freedom Fest 2021 conference, Brook said the government is “destructive” and is responsible for the economic troubles the U.S. finds itself in.

“COVID has shown us that the American people are willing to behave like sheep when the government dictates what they should and shouldn’t do. Also, the government is willing to take on massive powers,” he said. “We’re seeing the government move systematically towards bankruptcy. Who’s going to pay this debt?”

This high level of debt is almost impossible to be paid off now, Brook added.

“We are approaching levels of debt we saw in World War Two, but in World War Two, right after the war, we ran surpluses, so we paid it all back. Nobody’s going to run a surplus today. Politically, it’s impossible,” he said.

The more immediate consequence of high debt and government policies, including fiscal and monetary policies, is high inflation with no growth, or stagflation. However, the economy won’t reach hyperinflation territory, Brook said.

“[Hyperinflation] is quite unlikely because we know how to deal with inflation, we know how to stop it, it’s just very, very painful. I think what we’re really in for is a very long period of stagnation, maybe combined with inflation, maybe now. One thing we’re not going to see is significant economic growth,” he said.

Brook added, “I just don’t see good things happening in the U.S. economy. You’ve got massive malinvestment, you’ve got money flowing to the wrong things.”

The solution, according to Brook, is to reduce government intervention and abolish the Federal Reserve.

For the investor, assets to avoid in a stagflation scenario are risk assets like equities and long-term bonds. In fact, bonds will “get crushed”, he said.

“You want to be in something like gold, because gold actually maintains its value. It's on an investment as much as it is a store of value,” he said.

Maybe we should go in together on our own very small gold/silver mine here out west in either AZ, NV? Buy a very inexpensive one and do it cheap as possible, hire a 1-2 man crew a few days at a time that’s it, every once in awhile, and stabilize, build cross beams or rebuild, dig out, get generators and go one school with powered portable drills and jackhammers. Basically pull out in carts maybe 2/3 tons a day?

Their are plenty of mines out there Bob, I see them all the time. Poor mans version, but it does work out, if you know what your doing. Run it very very small. Nothing high tech. No massive costs to go broke on.

"Our 2020 drilling program confirmed the presence of a major epithermal system, encountered high-grade silver species and delivered high-grade assays, including new discoveries at Grauer Wolf and Reichenbach," stated Ben Pullinger , SVP Geology & Corporate Development. "We achieved these milestones with only 16 holes over 24 kilometres of strike. This year's program will build on the modelling and integration of those results to expand on our 2020 discoveries and make new ones in 2021."

Highlights from the 2020 drilling program include:

1,042 g/t AgEq over 0.45 metres (911 g/t Ag, 0.4 g/t Au, 2.8% Pb and 0.9% Zn) , within 231 g/t AgEq over 2.30 metres (183 g/t Ag, 0.4 g/t, Au 0.5% Pb and 0.2% Zn) in initial drilling on the Peter Vein;
505 g/t AgEq over 0.71 metres (356 g/t Ag, 2.0 g/t Au) , within 191 g/t AgEq (134 g/t Ag and 0.8 g/t Au) in first hole at Reichenbach (Großvoigtsberg), a new, near-surface discovery in an area with minimal historic mining;
319 g/t AgEq over 0.35 metres (300 g/t Ag, 0.2 g/t Au and 0.2% Zn) , within 101 g/t AgEq (87 g/t Ag, 0.2 g/t Au) at Bräunsdorf ;
1,043 g/t AgEq over 1.3 metres (954 g/t Ag, 0.1 g/t Au, 0.7% Pb and 2.0% Zn) within 100 metres of surface, within 194 g/t AgEq over 8.1 metres (173 g/t Ag, 0.1 g/t, Au, 0.4% Pb and 0.3% Zn), and 331 g/t AgEq over 1.2 metres (325 g/t Ag, 0.1 g/t Au, 0.03% Pb and 0.03% Zn) in the hanging wall at Grauer Wolf, a new high-grade discovery in an area with no historic drilling.
Drillling at the Munzig target in late 2020 encountered two zones of mineralization within 75 metres of surface (including 2.43 metres grading 116 g/t AgEq from 70 metres and 1.60 metres grading 143 g/t AgEq from 77 metres in SC20MUN015) separated by a non-mineralized dike, potentially aligning with historic records describing some of the broadest widths in the Bräunsdorf area.

Record mine operating earnings of $83.9 million for 2020, representing
an increase of $77 million ,
were achieved through successful execution of operational plans and
guidance, reduced costs and the benefit of higher average realized gold
and silver prices, which increased to $1,785 and $21.28 for 2020 from
$1,419 and $16.45 for 2019, respectively.

After accounting for G&A and exploration, evaluation and development
expenditures, operating earnings for FY 2020 were $57.0 million .

Net earnings were break-even after accounting for interest and financing
charges and foreign exchange and derivative losses.

The latter relates to forward contracts on the Brazilian real entered
into in late 2019 and early 2020 to gain better certainty on
Brazilian real operating and capital costs at a time of significantly
lower gold prices and no further currency hedges have been entered
into.

The foreign exchange losses are primarily non-cash and relate mainly to
the translation of foreign currency-denominated borrowings and net
working capital into the BRL functional currency of the Company's
operations in Brazil .

COVID-19 Response

Great Panther has developed and implemented robust COVID-19 prevention,
monitoring and response plans following the guidelines of the World
Health Organization and the regulatory agencies of each country in
which it operates to ensure a safe work environment. These plans
include mandatory medical screening and testing on arrival at site,
requirements to report infection or contact with those infected,
restrictions on international travel and any non-essential domestic
travel, alternative work arrangements, hygiene precautions and physical
distancing practices, among others. Specific areas have been prepared
for the isolation, testing and care of employees showing COVID-19
symptoms. Increased cleaning and sanitizing procedures have been
introduced, especially for frequently visited areas. Training campaigns
to educate all employees and contractors, their families and local
communities on preventive measures and hygiene best practices continue

At the Tucano mine alone, output was a record 35,421 ounces in the
quarter compared to 29,899 ounces in the same period last year -

Great Panther Mining Limited (TSE:GPR) (NYSEAMERICAN:GPL), the precious
metals miner, posted a clutch of record numbers in its second quarter
financials, despite the challenges posed by the coronavirus (COVID-19)
pandemic, including a net income compared to a loss in the same period
last year.

The group put the strong results down to the strong rise in the gold
price and record output from its flagship Tucano mine in Brazil.

Noble Capital says Great Panther Mining's 2Q production figures
highlight "solid performance" at Tucano -

Net income for the three months to June 30 came in at a record
US$8.5 million compared to a loss of US$5.7 million for
the second quarter of 2019.

Mine operating earnings before non-cash items were a record
US$35.8 million, up 233% on the figure of
US$10.7 million a year ago.

Cash flow from operating activities came in at US$19.5 million,
versus a loss of US$5.5 million in 2Q, 2019.

Revenue for the three months was US$67 million versus US$45.2 million
a year ago, on consolidated gold production across all mines of
36,357 ounces (2Q 2019: 33, 461 ounces).

At Tucano alone, output was a record 35,421 ounces in the quarter
compared to 29,899 ounces in the same period last year.

"The combination of a strong rise in the gold price and record
production at our flagship Tucano mine, leading to a substantially
lower AISC, drove a significant increase in cash flow from operating
activities to a record $19.5 million for the second quarter of 2020,"
said Great Panther CEO Rob Henderson in a statement.

"This was an impressive result given the unprecedented challenges of
managing COVID-19."

The firm operates the Tucano mine in Brazil and the Topia and
the Guanajuato Mine Complex (GMC) in Mexico (where operations
restarted in June).

Across the group, Great Panther expects to produce for full
year 2020 between 146,000 and 158,000 gold equivalent ounces
at all-in sustaining costs (AISC) in the range of
US$1,150 to US$1,250 per gold ounce sold and is "well
positioned" to deliver strong results.

"With the restart of the company's operations in Mexico in June,
a strong increase in the price of silver and new records for
the gold price since the end of the second quarter,
Great Panther expects continued strong cash-flow generation
in the third quarter," it added.

As at the end of June, the miner held cash and equivalents of
US$60.2 million, an increase from US$37 million at
the end of 2019.

Great Panther Silver (GPL) came out with quarterly earnings of
$0.04 per share, beating the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $0.01 per
share.
This compares to loss of $0.02 per share a year ago.
These figures are adjusted for non-recurring items.

This quarterly report represents an earnings surprise of 300%.
A quarter ago, it was expected that this silver mining company
would post a loss of $0.01 per share when it actually produced
a loss of $0.02, delivering a surprise of -100%.

Over the last four quarters, the company has surpassed
consensus EPS estimates two times.

Great Panther, which belongs to the Zacks Mining - Silver industry,
posted revenues of $67.03 million for the quarter ended June 2020,
surpassing the Zacks Consensus Estimate by 3.47%.
This compares to year-ago revenues of $45.28 million.
The company has topped consensus revenue estimates three times
over the last four quarters.

The sustainability of the stock's immediate price movement
based on the recently-released numbers and future earnings
expectations will mostly depend on management's commentary

Great Panther shares have added about 78.4% since the beginning

She faces an uphill battle.

Judy Shelton is an American economic advisor to President Donald Trump.
She is known for her advocacy for a return to the gold standard and for
her criticisms of the Federal Reserve.

This week, Donald Trump formally nominated Judy Shelton and Christopher
Waller for vacant governorships on the Federal Reserve.
Waller, the Vice President of the Richmond Fed, is widely viewed as a
standard Fed nominee with the reputation of being a "dove" who has
criticized recent interest rate hikes.
It is Judy Shelton who is particularly interesting.

A former campaign adviser for Trump, Shelton has
been a vocal Fed critic who has praised the gold standard in the past.

While has recently advocated for lower interest rates, she has also been
a critic of the Fed's policy of paying interest on excess reserves that
has become a key policy tool since 2008.
Shelton's nomination is also interesting due to her background standing
in stark contrast to most of her colleagues.

The bad news is that she leans heavily toward supply-side economics,
which is deeply flawed on monetary policy. Like most supply-siders, the
position she advocates may be summed up in the motto,
“I favor sound money—and plenty of it.”

Still, though by no means an Austrian, Shelton's voice on the Fed would
create some much needed ideological diversity to the central bank.

“How can a dozen, slightly less than a dozen, people meeting eight times a year, decide what the cost of capital should be versus some kind of organically, market supply determined rate? The Fed is not omniscient. They don’t know what the right rate should be. How could anyone?” said Shelton.

That paragraph is all you need to read to understand Shelton is an exceptionally good nomination and far more competent than anyone on the Fed.

Obstacles to Confirmation

She is an excellent candidate. Unfortunately, Shelton Faces Obstacles to Confirmation.

One of the obstacles is there cannot be two people from the same district. Fed Governor Lael Brainard is from the same Richmond region.

I suspect Trump will easily find a way around the region obstacle. The second and far more important obstacle is the Senate may not confirm a gold advocate.

Cowen analyst Jaret Steinberg said there are enough flash points to keep her from being seated. “Shelton would be a perfect fit as she would be a Trump loyalist who won Senate confirmation,” Steinberg said in a note. “We suspect there are enough Republicans who question her views on the gold standard and on excess reserves to put her confirmation in real doubt. To us, the Senate is unlikely to reject her nomination. The most likely outcome is that it just never votes to confirm her.”

In contrast, Greg Valliere, chief global strategist at ABF and a veteran authority on Washington’s impact on Wall Street opined, “Her views are a little exotic, but I think she’s got a pretty good chance of making it.”

Mainstream Resistance

Trump nominated Shelton last year, but nominations expire at the end of the year. So this is the second time Trump tried to appoint Shelton.

Last August, when Shelton's name first came up, Austrian economist Robert Murphy noted The Econ Establishment Teams Up To Denounce Judy Shelton.

Ever since President Trump nominated Judy Shelton to the Federal Reserve Board, the economics establishment has been letting Americans know just how crazy she (allegedly) is. And to illustrate that the establishment is bipartisan, the condemnation of Shelton has come from both the left and the right. For example, an American Enterprise Institute fellow has an article in The Hill warning of “Trump’s bizarre Federal Reserve nomination,” while National Review’s resident monetary wonk, Ramesh Ponnuru, wrote in Bloomberg that Shelton not only has a history of pushing very bad policies, but now is apparently flip-flopping just to get the job. And on Twitter, an econ-watcher has a long thread detailing all of the self-evidently nutjob positions Shelton has advanced over the years. Why, she’s not just for the gold standard, but she’s against FDIC! And she thinks the Fed’s 2% (price) inflation target erodes your property rights. Can you imagine?!

Shelton has long favored some form of commodity backing of the dollar, including praise for the historical gold standard. What's most needed on the Fed is an Austrian economist who proposes dissolving it. That would be diversity.

Instead, expect more group think nonsense about race and the Phillips Curve.

Good Ole Boy Network

To become a Fed president you have to think, believe, and act like a good ole boy.

Janet Yellen is best not thought of as a woman, but rather a good ole boy.

Shelton Precisely Needed

If people really wanted diversity, they would see Shelton as an excellent choice. But diversity is nothing but lip service about gender and race.

Diversity ought to be about opinions.

Murphy provides an excellent point-by-point analysis of what Shelton has right and wrong. but the bottom line is a point I made above: "Shelton is an exceptionally good choice and far more competent than anyone on the Fed."

Pan American Silver Announces Resolution of Garcia v. Tahoe Case

Pan American Silver Corp. (NASDAQ: PAAS) (TSX: PAAS) ("Pan American" or
the "Company") is pleased to announce that we have achieved final
resolution with Guatemalan community members who commenced a Supreme
Court of British Columbia action in 2014 against Tahoe Resources Inc.
("Tahoe").

In April 2013, members of the local community in San Rafael Las Flores,
Santa Rosa, in Guatemala, were engaged in protests at the Escobal Mine,
owned by Minera San Rafael, regarding the issue of prior community
consultation.

On April 27, 2013, the mine's security guards, headed by the chief of
security, Alberto Rotondo, shot at protesters who had gathered on the
public road outside the gates of the mine. A number of individuals were
injured during the shooting including Adolfo Agustin Garcia, Luis
Fernando Garcia Monroy, Wilmer Francisco Perez Martinez, and Misael
Eberto Martinez Sasvin, who filed a lawsuit in the Supreme Court of
British Columbia, Canada, against Tahoe Resources Inc., owner of Minera
San Rafael, seeking justice for the violation of their rights.

On February 22, 2019, Pan American Silver acquired Tahoe.

Pan American strongly condemns and will not resort to the use of any
violence.
While these events occurred well before the acquisition, Pan American,
on behalf of Tahoe, acknowledges that the shooting on April 27, 2013,
infringed the human rights of the protesters. Pan American, on behalf
of Tahoe, apologizes to the victims and to the community.

Nearly six years after the shooting, Adolfo Agustin Garcia, Luis
Fernando Garcia Monroy, Wilmer Francisco Perez Martinez, and Misael
Eberto Martinez Sasvin, have achieved a resolution of their lawsuit in
Canada against Tahoe with Pan American. The case has now been
concluded.

The resolution of the lawsuit does not impede in any way the ability of
the victims to exercise their rights of protest related to the mine in
the future.

Michael Steinmann, President and Chief Executive Officer of
Pan American Silver, said:
"When we completed the acquisition of Tahoe, we made it a priority to
reach out and make a constructive proposal to resolve the matter
amicably rather than continue with the litigation.
We sincerely hope that this resolution provides some measure of closure
for Messrs. Garcia, Garcia Monroy, Perez Martinez and Martinez Sasvin,
and that this is a step towards repairing relationships with the
broader communities in Guatemala."

Respect and protection of human rights is a core principle in how

and security practices are consistent with the Voluntary Principles on
