zent, you may sound like a pumper today but, in two weeks that statement may be viewed as bashing. IMO
ICM Network's web site is under construction, butif you view the images directory and click through the up and coming images, it looks like something big is on it's way.
I don't know, take a look for yourself.
http://www.icmnetwork.com/images/
I don't have any knowledge on how web pages are put together, so I would appreciate any input whatsoever. Is this for real?
Granted, it's subscription only. And I think that IS the key to Q's success, but HBO is subscription only and they still have to worry about crossing a kind of "line" with the general public.
I really think it's that "in your face" thing that the general population doesn't like, not wheather or not someone is gay.
I hear that complaint alot, being a member of the "straight community".
How will the "In Your Face" attitude of the gay community affect how the general public accepts a gay TV network?
Where's the QBID stock thread?
These commercials are running on RCN only. To state that they're running on Bravo or CNN is a true statement, but the poster knows that they are RCN commercials.
Not a lie mind you, but a flirtation with the truth.
This is what I thought frank should have been doing all along. Capture as much of RCN's market as possible. That's how you show your stuff to the big carriers. When they see that they can get a certain percentage of any market, they will want a piece of the pie for themselves.
WTF, why are you all so worked up over BT's posts? Can't you just ignore him on your own if that's what you want to do and not have the computer do it for you.
Personally, I find it amusing the way many of you respond to "bashers".
What he's saying does not affect the "company" at all, if anything, it may(and I doubt it) help keep the "stock" price down so it can be accumulated by those who believe in this company. Isn't that what we want?
You hit the nail right on the head Puzzuti, I wonder the same thing.
But I think another element comes in to play.
He and the others are gay men who resent that anyone "straight" will profit from this while they will not.
Not that there's anything wrong with that
OK Rich, if that's you're cup of tea. Carry on.
Where is the thread about the stock?
Does anyone know if there is a thread discussing QBID the stock, or is this gay pride month at iHub?
I mean it's great that they are covering these events but don't you think the focus of this thread should be the company and not the events?
Does Q Television have anything planned for Chicago?
Somehow this board is drifting away from being about the stock.
Still no float picture? Anyone?
Anyone snap a picture of the float?
zeus1 said "stashu, Go back into your hole or over to RB where you belong."
Who the ____ do you think you're talking to you _____?
I want to know if the banners are real. First he says they're up and down the street, then he says there's only one.
I happen to own quite a bit of this stock. Bought more this week as a matter of fact.
But I don't go for this blind over-hyped pumping crap.
As for RB, almost never go there, never posted there, period.
What else do you want to say to me tough guy?
DoubleK, are you saying that Qtelevision is on ALL the banners or just on that ONE you mentioned.
Kinda like someone stuck a sticker on that one after the fact.
Big difference there.
I've thought about a buyout all along. At least ever since Q Television was mentioned by name on the David Letterman Show(a HUGE Viacom property with millions of viewers).
Then Frank's interview on CBS MarketWatch(another Viacom vehicle).
Why would Viacom allow that?
Rich735, when the term "homophobia" is used, it's usually an indication of someones "intolerance" of people that do not accept gay lifestyles.
And to come from lolitchka, a look at his/her posts show that he/she is not interested in talking about the stock at all. Almost all of the posts are political in nature. "Society is so backward, Republicans this, Evangelicals that, etc."
As far as being hypocritical to own QBID and not support gay lifestyles, not at all.
The more money that I can make from investing in Q, the more I can donate to my church, spend on my kids private education, and maybe even give to help a local Republican candidate or two.
I definitely will not subscribe to Q Television though, but "Go Q!" and "Bring on the Gay Olympics!"
Scottrade was working all day for me today although I was following quotes on my cell through their mobile site.
The "Positions" was never updated though. It shows the same totals that I started with this morning.
I'm in. I'll email and try to call also.
You know, there are people calling about the same stocks almost every day and they get through.
Wouldn't it be nice if someone called CNBC's Mad Money "Lightning Round" on GTE's first day on the AMEX. I wonder what Cramer would say.
Just thought I'd throw out a challenge here.
Are there any known Tiger/Scottrade conflicts?
I am planning to install Tiger on my Pismo(G3 Powerbook) but am wondering if there are any known issues with the Scottrader screener. I think there was an issue with the 10.3.9 update and Java. I had to revert back to an older security update or something. I don't want to install and have issues when the market opens on Monday.
