At 10:22 am, 145 shares were traded @3.55cents. Broker commission will be more than the value of the trade. Any idea what 145 shares would mean in MM's coded signals?
One of the things I do not understand is who is selling/bringing down the price and who is benefitting from it? At these levels/prices/volumes, there is vey little money to be made?!?!?!
I may have sounded too optimistic (or dreamy), but by 2013 evaluation, the current share price after full dilution ought to be over a dollar. From that point, till date, the company has definitely grown (by how much?).
But if you expect no more than $.45 per share, does that mean the company is worth only 450 million today? Meaning, company lost its value during these nine years?
Thank you for the clarification!
Do you mind describing further? Does it mean its value has gone down from $1.03 (2013 valuation) to under 25 cents?
Would appreciate some more details.
Thank you in advance.
Here is my highly empirical evaluation done with an over jubilant mindset :)
Normally, a reasonably successful stock market whiz says, investment can double every three years if sound strategies are applied. Assuming that is true and believing that Elite has been healthy and their strategies and directions are sound, they should be at the least doubling every three years. At that rate, the company ought to have grown to a value of 8 times in nine years (2 ^ 3). This translates to a share price of about $8.24.
Again, as I disclaimed in the beginning, it is highly empirical, over jubilant evaluation, with not much of scientific points to back it up and is just my opinion. I believe time will tell and/or some of the very educated folks here can throw in some constructive criticism.
But $2.1 is the valuation as it stood on 2013. During the last 8 + years, the company's value has increased. Does that not mean its current value and thus the share price should be higher? (though not sure by how much).
When is the poison pill due to expire? I know it is in 2023, but wonder is it in the beginning or end of the year?
if the outstanding shares are 1.5 billion, then $750 billion market cap will mean share price of $500 a piece not $50 .
I see this pattern repeating all the time. Several days of very low volume trading, usually ending up with one or two somewhat high volume orders (less than 100k shares) and then suddenly for a couple of days of 1+ million share trading and then settling back into low volume trading. Not sure what this pattern means. But it is going on for a long time.
I would want to take it that:
1. Price action (likely on the positive side) waiting for a serious big news.
2. Some information like BO, buyer, time lines, etc. are already a kind of tacitly decided. Company's lack of interest in "promoting" day to day share price despite the fact that it deserves to be far higher than what it is today, also points to this observation.
JMHO
My sincere condolences.
May her soul rest in peace!
Assuming Bob (the patient) got treated no later than December 2004, should we take take that this is at least one of the cases that survived 84 months after treatment? (Not trying to be callous. Just looking at it in statistics perspective).
Just for my own learning..
What is taking so long for the article to be published in the journal?
While I do agree there are several doctors that are supposed to write up their piece of review, how extensive is this write up expected to be? Should any doctor need so much time (nearly one year !?!?) to prepare one's piece?
My concern is, are the folks waiting for something else besides these write ups and articles? And something they do not want to divulge for a good/bad reason?
I would wonder what it takes to accomplish sales of $500 billion.
What will be the cost of infrastructure to get there?
What time, money and finances will it take, to ramp up to that level.
I toy with the idea that probably NWBO should manufacture "modules" that would manufacture these vaccines and the modules should be sold to individual franchisees. I guess something like Sawston facility as a model module, being sold to several thousand sites across the world could get us to probably $50 billion (10% of $500 billion) in about 5 years (??). What is the feasibility of such business model??
@ $50 billion in annual sales, it means treating 500,000 patients annually (@$100,000 per patient). Have not done much diligence. But does the world produce 500,000 such patients annually? (Sorry, I do not wish for it.)
Also, we have to remember, as time advances, the price of the drug (and in this case, the technology) will generally come down. So, are such astronomical numbers are ever achievable with this drug, its manufacturing and delivery technology and business model?
My two cents,
I have been a long for several years on this stock and have been watching it ever since.
It is a consensus agreement that the company deserves a better share price at this point, owing to its performance, as well as other things of worth, that it owns.
Nobody wants their company valued cheaper than deserved and Elite is no exception.
It is a fact that it is technically possible/feasible to have Elite listed in NASDAQ, one way or the other.
It is a logical conclusion that ELTP management is not looking at getting it listed.
It is highly suggestive (almost very certain) that the stock price is being manipulated.
I believe that getting listed would involve allocation of resources of money, time and energy and management does not want to vest the same at this point.
This gets me to believe that management does not see any serious value in getting it listed in NASDAQ and provide visibility to some potentially powerful investors, at least for now.
Though less likely, it is possibly that the management does see value in the P/S staying artificially depressed for now.
All this can happen (JMHO) only if Elite has already set its sights on, and/or is in informal conversation with, potential buyer(s)/partners(s) and is engaged in meeting some mile stones tacitly stipulated/expected by such entities.
Though not sure when, if all of the above points turn out totally true, this company should see an explosive breakout and almost simultaneous buyout or merger. Again all JMHO.
Immense thanks for all the information and insight.
I would like to copy/paste my earlier post to get a bit more clarity about the situation:
"In all fairness, we need to ask one question.
What is the reason/purpose behind this depressed share price?
Who is benefitting from this?
Does someone want to accumulate at this level?
Or is there some kind of hostile takeover planned? (defeating the idea of poison pill. Not sure if that is ever possible)"
What is your take on these questions?
Thanks in advance!!!

I know you will not be very comfortable in speaking these numbers.
But still, may I ask you to post what the current P/S valuation can be for ELTP?
Appreciate your input
Wonder what the buyout price can be.
My question may not be particularly within context.
But why would LCI encourage any merger at this time?
I see LCI's diminishing share value during the last several years. Can it afford such mergers? In fact, why is LCI losing its value consistently all that long?
What kind of a value in terms of share price can Elite realize with this merger? I do agree LCI can realize some synergy, though.
This is the first time I am posting in this board. I used to work for a company that did some big time deals with LCI a few years back. That was the time when LCI announced a dividend of $5 per share. Now, the share price itself is less than the dividend it paid a few years back!?!?!
Thanks in advance to all who can provide some answers.
This morning, I got a call from some "CompuShare" or so. It was a lady. She said she is calling on a recorded line regarding voting for/against resolutions in ASM.
I mentioned to her initial questions that I did not receive anything in the mail or email.
I voted for the three resolutions.
According to you, what can be the range of buyout price? Just could not help being curious.
It means, irrespective of what the current market price per share of the acquired company, the buyout price will be Evaluated price + some premium.
So, in effect, the acquired shares will be acquired at a price MORE than the actual valuation and definitely more than the current market price.
The impression I get is, Nasrat is not as much focused on up listing to NASDAQ, as he is on strengthening the fundamentals of the company.
Getting to NASDAQ may make Elite more appealing to institutional investors, but need not necessarily make it more appealing to a potential buyer/acquirer. A buyer looks at the innate value of the company and how it can add more value and synergy to ones own company in hand, upon purchase. Nasrat is building the Elite along this direction
It is not unusual for OTC companies to be bought out. If the objective is a buyout and if it can be accomplished without up listing to NASDAQ, why bother with such up listing? This has been the direction of Nasrat's thinking
It should be remembered that Nasrat has come from "bigger league" companies and will have his connections in that level. His emphasis ought to be on how to make Elite more buyable, rather than more visible to general investor community.
If my guess is right, he already may have a few potential buyers in mind and may have had some kind of informal conversations with such folks.
JMHO
Hi N2K,
Thank you for the great post.
While I do believe that the company is still far from a BO, I will be curious to understand how a potential buyer would dissect/analyze/evaluate this company based on the stats you provided as well as the other things that the company owns.
Will it be possible for you to shed some light? This gives some qualitative and quantitative understanding of the company's worth in the eyes of a typical buyer.
Would immensely appreciate your response and thanks in advance for it.
I have not moved on.
I averaged down subsequently. My average price now is 0.16
OT: About dantians
Just now I heard this word from you.
Going by the image you posted, in Sanskrit language dantian is called a grandhi -- a point where three or more channels of energy interesect or confluence. Breaking or transcending through the upper dantian leads one beyond the realm of space and time.
Just a small digression from the mundane world of stock market.
Thank you for the response, 10baggerz!
And BTW Exwannabe, please accept my thanks for your response.
Is is not a custodial account. It is a joint account. The account is less than 12 months old. NWBO is the only one time purchase made and none sold till date.
Going by what you say, it is better to transfer the ownership now rather than wait until NWBO really breaks out (Not that I become such a big millionaire, but, just thinking like one :) )
Is my understanding correct?
OT: A tax question
Being naïve, I opened a joint account with my son some time back, broker being same, and bought a small position in NWBO. The idea was to monitor the account until it gets to some size and pass the ownership completely to him.
1. Is that going to cause any tax head aches?
2. How complex is it to pass the total ownership to my son?
Appreciate any input. Thanks in advance
Pasting from the link:

Doesn't this suggest NWBO products are market disruptive and this partnership is about building synergies in that direction?
Just a word of caution.
The price appreciated on not so much of a volume.
Are we rejoicing too soon?
Thank you, Sojourner, BigAl and Extrooper!
I have begun counting! :)
What is TKO? Is it take off or take over? Effect on SP will be almost the same of course!
Thank you very much. You got me answers to both questions.
A couple of questions: (Slightly Off Topic)
1. Is gifting same as donation? If I donate shares to a non profitable institution, will that be subtracted as well from my life time gifting limit?
2. Do I need to have share certificates in hand for such donation or a virtual (near instantaneous) transfer possible?
Thanks in advance for the information/response
This is a very brilliant possibility!!
Just making a wild empirical (less informed) guess of some of those who can be involved
Merck
BMS
Roche
Possibly a non pharma company like GE
Merck's name has been floating for quite a while.
I heard BMS clinical trial for GBM declared a failure recently and they should want a jump start, without having to start something from level zero.
Roche's name was involved albeit indirectly from the time of NW and his proximity to Roche folks.
Lastly GE like company. NWBO product is a hybrid of personalized medication combined with a mass production/delivery mechanism. Somebody like GE who has been heavily into building medical devices and systems surely will add very well to the team. A few years back, this name was floating in this message board.
All JMHO
I do confess that I am not as informed as DOCLOGIC, but just thought I share my idea in this context.
The news is dated November 23 2020 and the your post is dated today!!!
I remember the sanskrit saying "putradhiccet parayajayam", meaning it is a very happy thing to be vanquished by one's own children (particularly in the path of scholastic aptitude).
Congratulations!!
