I doubled my holdings in an attempt to average down my initial paid price. I'm not in much $ so it's not as big a gamble for me as it is for some. I hate to see this stock has taken such a beating recently, but I will not be selling until it's absolute zero.
Actually, for the most part the MM's are not people, and "they" are not targeting anyone or playing mind games. So, try not to become so emotionalized.
In the case of CDEL specifically, no humans are involved, at least not with deciding stocks, prices, L2 levels, or anything like that. Humans are not making the decisions, it's entirely controlled by CDEL's AI algorithms. The humans involved mostly control the liquidity provider systems, the dark pools, the exchanges, and they ensure the system is working properly but they aren't sitting around at a desk intentionally targeting this stock in an effort to "accumulate shares".
Desire and greed don't really play a factor here. It's just basic math. If the system see's an opportunity to capture and control a stocks L2, based on the low volume and low prices, it will work on tackling the stock in an effort to capitalize on the controllable spread.
Low volume and low prices are to blame. CDEL can't, and won't try to tackle a stock if the volume is high and the price begins to move in a positive direction.
The 0.0114, and 117's were me. Was trying to create a pivot on the L2 and trick CDEL's system. Never got past the first roadblock though, so wasn't successful. :(
No clue. They opened and pulled it down into the 7's where they were trying to get it down to yesterday. I saw a bunch of movement, then it stopped for a moment. A number of 7's were still on the board, members bought them up, and that's that.. we moved back up into the 8's, and here we sit. I assumed that's what that was all about, CDEL covering. /could be wrong.
I think you beat me to it lol. After they finished covering shorts, I noticed around 100K on the ask, tried to fund account n pick them up, but too slow :(
Oh well.
CDEL already pull the price down today... heading for the 7's that they were trying to reach yesterday.
Two stocks off the top of my head which stick out right away. Neither were very good companies, and likely they would have gone bust anyway. But it was obvious at the time, CDEL being the leading MM on the L2, that the stock was manipulated and forced ever downward. I lost $ on both because I was new and didn't understand anything about any of this at the time. :(
1 is now very much dead and gone, 0 bids. Again, the company was absolute shit, the stock traded on sentiment only.
The other is held in a no-volume channel, with CDEL still holding bid/asks just outside current trading range, in an effort to remain in control should they desire. Meaning no matter what happens, you aren't buying on bid for lower than XX, and the stock no matter how well it does, won't clear the ask price XX unless they pull down the wall. They are just not actively manipulating it anymore because there is simply no volume (less than 50K shares a day now). It's a set it and forget it thing right now on that stock.
$WDRP is a real company, and I would expect that at a point the math or stars will line up in our favor. Either the moving averages, the float, volume, sentiment in general... a catalyst of some sort will eventually break this stock from their grasp. It is after all, a real company with real product and good DD history, no bullshit PR scams, no dilution, and that makes it very solid imho.
But... as it sits today, and has since the 70Mil spike, CDEL is our top L2 MM. This is generally recognized as a bad thing, certainly undesirable if you are not trying to play a channel, but actually holding long term investments.
Again, just my opinion. I'm not some expert, just some normal guy behind a desk. Do your own research, check the lawsuits against CDEL over the years. Read the sentiment from others regarding their practices, start watching the L2 and see where they are playing, and you'll see for yourself eventually.
Here I don't think it's much to worry about, it's just frustrating because it delays the natural evolution and growth of the stock.
I share your sentiment about CDEL. I've watched CDEL tank a dozen stocks in the past 2-3 years, and each time it's the same game.
$WDRP
There will come a time when CDEL cannot control the flow of this stock.
$WDRP
$WDRP has done very well on many days the entire market was down. It's weird like this. I've seen this happen half a dozen times now, everyone else is up, WDRP is down, WDRP is up, everyone else is down. Very odd.
It's a great opportunity to average down and double the shares.
$BABL$ is on the Break Out Board again today, 2nd day in a row! :D
Yesterday we were around 26, 27th spot starting the day... IIRC
From what it looks like, today's kick off we will be around 15th on the board.
GLTA
$BABL$ is on the Break Out Board today :)
I'm kinda new. Can someone please explain why the total volume for today is 0? No sold, no purchased... no movement at all. Is everything ok? Is this normal?
LOL.... that was like 1.25Mil @ 00PS LOL I feel bad for whomever pulled the trigger on that one.
I slept after market close yesterday, but not since waking up after that. :/
GO MHYS!!$$
As I see it, which may not be right.... but yesterday's EOD shift of all the shorts and longs @ 0007 is probably what is causing this current 0006/0007 back and forth play. A lot of bullshit shares went flying around yesterday a minute or so before the end. Now someone's gotta account for that...
Again, may be wrong.... I'm new.
But I see this is a consolidation for yesterdays massive Auto Bail out/Auto buy in shift right at the end. May not be entirely run of the mill Pre-Loading. Yesterdays EOD was odd and I think MM's got stuck holding the bag now they have to clean up.
So basically someone freaked out and caused a huge number of shares to transfer? Are these shorts or actual shares that moved like that?
So what was that big swap at the end? What exactly happened and what does it mean? .... sry, im new.
Just grabbed another 75K :D
Thank you for the info.
Is this a good thing or a bad thing??
Thanks for the feedback. I'll stay tuned, and lets all hope DRIVE doesn't crash and burn ;)

So, I'm new to this trading thing, been at it a week now... so maybe you guys can help correct me if I am wrong but, from what I can tell the Short sell volume was lower yesterday than the past 10 days, and it's been getting lower and lower by the day. The float shares seems to be dwindling away, so it *should* become more risky for Shorty to play the game with this stock right?
So, basically natural purchasing will triumph and drive this up? Please correct me if I am not looking at this whole thing the right way. Ty.
