dbg, what do you make of this?
I don't know why an announcement of a shareholders meeting would move the stock. Especially when this information has been know since their 2nd quarter earning call which was announced on August 8, 2014. Did you miss that?
Didn't we already see this two days ago?
RE: SHAREHOLDERS MEETING OCTOBER 16, 2014
I will be attending the Liquidmetal shareholders meeting on October 16, 2014 and I will be taking detailed notes. I will share my findings on my Facebook page at CIMA Equities LLC at https://www.facebook.com/cimallc
I will also ask management in advance if I can video tape the ENGEL machine during their demonstration.
If you have any questions that you would like me to ask at the shareholders meeting please private message me on my Facebook page. I will try to get all of our questions, but if I receive too many questions I'm thinking I will post the questions back on iHub in a numerical sequence so we can vote on which questions are most important to us (shareholders).
If you are local and will be attending the shareholder meeting you can pre-register at: http://info.liquidmetal.com/investoropenhouse
If you will be attending the shareholders meeting let me know. It would be a pleasure to meet fellow investors in LQMT and discuss our thoughts.
I agree!
I beg to differ. See me previous post and let me know your thoughts. Thanks!
I believe Apple didn't use sapphire on the iPhone 6 because of a couple reasons 1) they didn't have to. As we saw the iPhone 6 sold out in no time at all. 2) historically when releasing a new product, the product needs to have unique features to gain interest.
I believe Apple will use sapphire in a product, which one, I'm not going to guess as I believed they were going to use Liquidmetal and sapphire in the iPhone 6. I was wrong with a lot of other investors (spectators).
Have you looked at the number of patents Apple has been assigned along with Crucible Intellectual Property? I believe it's very possible that we will see a malleable (flexible) sapphire in the future that is has a non-crystaline structure, therfore making it stronger than any other sapphire or glass on the market, incurring Cornings Gorilla Glass.
We shall see... I would like to hear anyone's thoughts on this.
What do you mean $0.40 by Friday?
I will have to agree with you on that one. I think we would have better odds of having a meteor striking all of us in the face at the same time. I have 100k shares in AEGY and I've kind of given up on AEGY/SKTO. Does anyone know if they still plan to merge? Has anyone called the attorney of record? I talked to him about 1 1/2 months ago and he answered and said he was busy at his son's baseball game.
This Baker guy really needs to start smoking weed and layoff the crack pipe!
Thank you. I appreciate your feedback. I couldn't agree more with you. I think everyone including myself need to quit focusing on Apple and focus on Liquidmetal. Just my opinion, but the company appears to be heading in the right direction for the time being. We shall see...
I sure hope you're right. I'm pretty positive about Liquidmetal's future myself. I can't wait for the investor meeting in October.
Question? I thought Swatch had an exclusive license for Liquidmetal in watches. If that's the case could Apple use Liquidmetal in the Apple Watch or is it not considered a watch, is it considered an electronic device? Or is it possible that Apple bought the right to use Liquidmetal in their watch from Swatch?
I will get right on it!
That actually made me laugh out loud! I'm going to do the same now hahaha... I love the humor. Sometimes life is too serious.
I'm no scientist, but sapphire is crystalline. I believe it's possible that Liquidmetal and Apple may have already developed a method of making an amorphous (malleable) sapphire.
It makes sense to me since Apple just invested 700 million in GT Technologies. I'm sure they didn't do that to manufacture their camera lense for the iPhone. :)
Let me know your thoughts...
I believe it's very possible to develop a malleable sapphire, which would be superior on strength to any transparent product known of today. If they can being sapphire onto a non-crystaline state wouldn't it make it much more durable than other glass?
Can you elaborate?
Makes complete sense. In the case of Liquidmetal though I believe the only way they will do a reverse split is to get up-listed back onto the Nasdaq and that is because they are generating revenue and investor confidence. Are you aware LQMT's original IPO took place on the Nasdaq?
Would you mind helping me understand why? Thank you!
There is a working machine at their facility. I've seen it and I will be attending the investors meeting.
Let me ask you since it sounds like you all have a lot more experience than me. Why would a reverse split be a bad thing e.g. if they gave 1 share for 5 once they were generating some revenue?
Sorry, I wasn't responding to you. It was to AliAz. I wan't to take my time to respond to. I will respond later this evening. Have a good one. Are you able to receive private messages?
Respectfully, are you trying to be helpful or tell me I'm stupid? I understand all that you've said. I've read almost every SEC filing and news article possible as well. I also live right down the street from Liquidmetal. Maybe this gives me a better sense of security. I have seen the ENGEL machine and have spoke to Bruce briefly. One thing that I believe we should all take into consideration is that ENGEL is setup to do business internationally and I believe it's going to be a littler bit of a slow process for Liquidmetal to get things ramped up, which is okay with me. Before moving forward I believe it's Liquidmetals plan to raise their (PPS) just enough by generating some revenue so they can do a 5:1 reverse split and get then selves up-listed back to the Nasdaq.
For what besides their SIM card ejector?
Liquidmetal will not receive any "direct" revenue in regards to the MTA between Liquidmetal and Apple. When Apple uses or it becomes public knowledge that Liquidmetal has been used for something other than Apples SIM card ejector it should definitely drive the PPS up.
I completely agree with what you're saying here. I don't know if you know or not, but Liquidmetal is literally right across the street from Allied Medical. I don't know if that was intentional or not, but we shall see. Note: I live right down the street from Liquidmetal and will be attending the investors meeting and any other events I can.
LMAO...
LMAO... Believe it or not there was a time I actually had some hope for HEMP Inc. The management has proven to me that they can't run a business. They are all over the board like a schizophrenic tweeker.
No worries. There are people there. Sometimes late at night and on the weekend too.
I'm not overly concerned. I've just got most of what I have on the company. If you want to email me you can at: tvasile@cimaequities.com.
FYI I don't know about today, but I usually drive by that way as I work in the area and there are usually about 20 cars in the parking lot. I've also seen their warehouse/manufacturing center and I have seen the ENGEL machine. I also noticed about a month ago they remodeled the interior of the building so customers can start coming in.
Absolutely. What time and if you don't mind me asking what your thoughts are?
I see that you said you met Tom. Do you live locally to Liquidmetal? What are your thoughts as to management's diluting the stock? I know they're ask making hefty salaries and I'm sure they have plenty of personal assets. Not that that matters as long as their not living the high life of share holders. What do you think of the company as a long term investment. I'm starting to have mixed thoughts. I'm local, just around the corner from Liquidmetal.
LMAO... I have a feeling this thing is done for. You can get 32 beers and a pack of cigarettes for $300.00
If you're asking if ENGEL is the manufacturer of LQMT's machines, I have personally seen the one in their warehouse.
