If 0.15 is cracked, yeah I hate to say it, but 0.11-0.12 is definitely back within the realm of possibilities.
I'll forward these to some other Abattis followers too. You know how it is.. it's one thing to receive news that the lab is open, another thing to witness visual confirmation and first hand testimony from someone that's been there.
Thanks for providing these! Not surprised to learn the lab is a restricted area. Glad to hear the people you talked with were pleasant.
Maybe if there's a big surprise and some hefty, unexpected earnings in the report. Otherwise, considering the lab is brand new, and if they have clients and can conduct testing in that time, I don't think anyone is going to do flip-flops over a couple thousand bucks.
That said, a nice "run" could come from a string of announcements of LP's signing contracts, or more news about HC pushing harsher consequences for LP's with contaminated products.
I see Hydropothecary Corp has joined the naughty list, alongside Mettrum Ltd., Organigram Inc. and Aurora Cannabis Inc. More myclobutanil found. HC can't afford to let this get out of control, and I won't be surprised to see a "get tough on pesticides" movement that gives Abattis more positive exposure.
So now we know Northern Vine's launch was previously baked into the price between 0.15-0.20. Guess I'm not surprised, although I'll admit I'm a little disappointed. Seeing 0.20+ today would have been more uplifting, no doubt.
Next climb up will revolve around more excitement about the cannabis industry and the size of the market, and of course, Northern Vine bringing in more clients will certainly help too.
Yep, certainly could be. Withrow probably should have cooled his jets during the 2014 - early 2015 era. But Northern Vine is undeniable progress. It's facility and associates can be brought to life in a tactful way. It just needs to be done carefully and professionally.
I've always felt they needed visuals to drive excitement. Pictures of the Northern Vine lab development or even part of the team with smiles on their faces as they anticipated the opening these past several weeks would bring some life to ATTBF.
Who is Dr. Jaclyn Thomson? Dr. David Galvez? Robert Abenante? Add some pictures or videos, short interviews, explanations of how they've been building the labs, how they expect to expand services, how they plan to integrate Raybot..
PR after PR, without anything extra, is unfortunately drying up the excitement factor.
That's unfortunately what makes yesterday even more frustrating.. it fell into a deeper hole at 0.165. 0.3 is now nearly a double, and a long way to climb. I'm crossing fingers and hoping for a new YTD high.. but we'll see.
Congrats everyone. I hope the new CEO is spot on about this:
Long term, I think we'll be fine, but siggghhh.. I'll tell you what doesn't help inspire confidence. William Panenka dumping more shares.
Just saw that news today. 90,000 shares dumped on 3/30, and another 73,500 on 4/13. If it's not eventually made crystal clear what value he brought to the table over the past few months, that's going to leave a pretty sour taste in the mouth's of investors. Especially after he was handed 500,000 shares last month for sticking around.. or as Rene David put it, a reward for "additional efforts and ongoing commitment..during and after the time of the recent cease trade along with the additional time and attention required by each director."
If there's no Northern Vine news by the end of the week, you might get 0.15. And I would consider taking it, if I were you..
Ugh.. U.S. sales in the gutter. Hello $10's.
Did okay for a lazy Monday. I'm expecting NV announcement between Wed and Fri. That should give us a push.
I can't speak for anyone else, but if this stock reaches a couple key prices in the next few months, I'll probably try to sell at the some of the peaks, and accumulate larger portions on the dips. But I have a core position I don't plan on departing with anytime soon, regardless of how fast we might climb. I don't want to risk being completely left in the dust.
I don't know about that, but a NV opening announcement next week could send us back to mid $0.20's.
Plenty of MJ stocks, including most of the LPs, are down a few percent today. I'll be content with anything in green for ATTBF today.
Is anyone else seeing that 2 shares were traded today? 2? Really? Haha..
Awesome. Thanks in advance for doing that. Visual confirmations are always nice.
Yep, mid to high $12's, but never $13. Ford is a rubber ball in a room with 2 walls.. one marked $11, the other marked $13.
Just fascinating how little pre-market makes sense sometimes.. soaring green, into 11.80 an hour before the market opened. Then it opens red in the 11.50's..
Ladies and gents, we've got a reversal! Great movement the past couple days. Maybe 2017 is the year LVS finally cracks $70?
I'm getting ahead of things, I know.. let's see it clear that resistance at $62 first.
So you're able to witness first hand evidence that NV is being built, awesome. I don't suppose you could snap a few pictures to share with the group? :)
Not sure why someone insists on trying to be cute with those 39K share trades.. we're talking about $7.80 buys haha.
Not honestly sure if they've generated a dime from 10 Thousand BC. If they've made anything, it's inconsequential.
Let's face it, that product is not a strong area of focus for Abattis. No one is buying ATTBF for its potential future sales from glacier water. If I remember correctly, that was a Bill Flemming deal about 2 years ago, and was cooked up well before anyone thought NV would receive the controlled substance license.
I had to dig back to find (and even remember) the association between Abattis and 10 Thousand BC. Here it is. Abattis has a 3 year supply contract with Alpine Glacier Water Inc, owners of the 10 Thousand BC product:

On the Abattis site, under the Executive Team, you'll find Andrea Bates. She's the COO of Vergence Sales and co-founder/CMO of 10 Thousand BC Inc:
https://www.abattis.com/executive-team
There's the connection. Why they're using the 10thousandbc.com email address instead of abattis.com? I have no idea..
Glad to see we may finally be climbing out of that ridiculous low $11 hole. Divy on the way too for those that have been holding. This is turning out to be not too shabby after all.
A little Wednesday comfort..
A fellow named Jason contacted NV yesterday after he noticed they were finally listed on that Gov of Canada site. Turns out, after all that time, they listed the wrong number on the site haha.
That was a little frustrating to find out, but what slipped from Abattis administration in their reply to Jason was a hint that NV is opening very soon.
You can see what he says in the bottom section of this article..

By end of week, maybe? Sure hope so.
Like oatsuzn, I've reading requests and also asking people all over to report the outdated info to HC. My feeling for the past couple months is that it's taken them way to long to make that simple update.
Then I thought a little more carefully about the whole process.. perhaps there was some proof of concept or milestone(s) of a facility that NV had to demonstrate to HC before they were eligible to be listed? I have no idea, but wouldn't be surprised. If a company had a license but planned to do absolutely nothing with it for a long time, I'd think HC would want to avoid the drama that could be caused when LP's started inquiring about services that the company would had no immediate intentions of providing.
Yes. Abattis was mentioned in a few articles discussing the importance of future LP's testing their products. Here's one that comes to mind that specifically mentions pesticides:

Otiko was hired on as a consultant, correct? If he was an equal partner in this process, he might have a claim worthy of some consideration in court. But, if he was contracted or temporarily employed to do a job, which is my understanding, it's a completely different story. He probably would have signed an agreement forfeiting any legal claims to the work he, Keough, Phillips, et al collaborated on.
In that event, it doesn't matter if the patent was previously "abandoned." Otiko traded his expertise and time for money. If he was in fact paid, and assuming the terms of his contract were not riddled with negligence, it doesn't matter if the patent associated with his work was abandoned or not. He would have no legal claim to it.
Thanks for posting all the legal docs. I read through them all. Anyone who thinks Keough is some kind of "fly by night" legal joke and that this lawsuit is somehow "good" for ViaDerma because it legitimizes the value of the product needs to seriously step back, maybe splash a little water on their face, and start analyzing the information objectively.
Again, I really wanted to jump in here, scout's honor. But the ambiguity of the product ownership never allowed this company to pass the smell test. Now, with Keough v. Otiko et al., it all makes sense..
True, it's not hot off the press, but still all relevant news to Abattis and NV.
Even going off that other article..

Yeah, I get people are excited, but they've been placing way too much emphasis on the number "45." Was it a promise?
Yikes.. it's too bad VDRM and Otiko are turning out to be a total dud.. perhaps even criminal. What a shame. After weeks of sideline watching, I was really hoping for some clarity on the patents and Otiko's business model that would encourage an investment. Unfortunately, the "clarity" is justifying just the opposite.
Thanks for presenting the info and findings. This is looking like an absolute POS and I couldn't be happier that I never bit the hook.
People chatting on other boards and social media about "4/20". Again, just rumors and chat, and that's all. They better release news of NV opening by end of the month.. or it gives every melancholy ATTBF bagholder and follower from 2014 a big reason to slam them even more.
There are widespread rumors that tomorrow, 4/20, is the launch date for Northern Vine Labs. "4/20" would be cute, fun, and all.. but I wouldn't get too many hopes up about those kind of rumors haha. I think this is up today because the the MJ sector itself seems to be making a slight rebound.
You know what.. you can look at the lawsuit as a light at the end of the tunnel. Perhaps it's a ray of daylight, and we're about to escape the dark tunnel of being slightly unsure if the technology has true value. Perhaps it's a freight train coming the other way, about to run over all investors in its path, if Keough wins or Otiko surrenders before the fight begins.
Again, this all entirely depends on Otiko's likelihood of prevailing in court.
And I'm sorry to say this, but I wouldn't feel sorry for anyone who dumped their shares just yet. I have the distinct feeling they'll be able to pick up more shares at a much cheaper price than even today's close. VDRM filed its annual report after hours with the first mention of this lawsuit, and it's going to draw out all sorts of fear and anxiety.
For the summons, you're absolutely right. It could take a while.
But in a situation like this, Keough would have sent at least 1 pre-suit letter listing his complaints and demands in detail. And that would have been sent several weeks, if not several months, ago.
That Otiko wouldn't have known about the lawsuit until April 12 is pretty hard to swallow..
