Today is May 23rd. So....
Any updates on this??
Really excited about this! The facebook link is failing for me on my iPhone though.
Why are we even discussing Qatar if the article clearly states it’s in discussions with a privately held company. BLTA is a stock symbol because it’s a “publicly traded corporation” sigh
Does this mean we no longer own shares to an airline? Because that’s an entirely new entity that none of us own shares of.
This should be stickied to board so theres full understanding that US Global did not loose the entire 1 mil on Songbird deal.
Who? I just stopped in for a sec to look at board. Not really in the mood to read through all these to posts to figure it out. My apologies in advance.
Not to beat the cuban horse with a stick... but this is what I meant when I stated my comment.
http://www.rollingstone.com/politics/features/traveling-to-cuba-under-trump-policy-what-you-need-to-know-w488649
This has nothing to do with the situation with the travel ban that was uplifted.
Too many other options to even care about Cuba as a route. South America? Now we're talking. :)
Im sure the answer is yes. I believe the certification is to operate. The St. Petersburg route is something separate. Even though the original, supposed, lure of this company was the exclusive route to St. Petersburg, at this point is a mute point. All we care about is that the plane sells a ticket and actually flys at this point and is profitable. I don't care if it flys from Stewart to Newark as long as it's profitable.
Flights to Cuba will be tightened under Trump admin.
As long as the assumptions are labled "speculation" then there should be no issue with taking a guess. I just want a direction to be pointed to so I can spend some free time looking into "speculative" possibilities. :)
So which one are we buying...

Ok. I haven't had time to see entire live feed yet, but In the beginning he said 25/50 split, which threw me off... but that makes more sense. I know how reverse splits work, but 25/50 sounded completely backwards. Thanks for clarifying thats its the 2 options being considered.
Can someone clarify the 25/50 r/s ratio Tony mentioned during the meeting?
Thank you for clearing that up. It seemed odd.
Im impressed with the destination plans. I wasn't aware that there were no direct flights from NY to Tel Aviv. Looking at this from a demographic standpoint, you have a huge LBGT community in NY flying to Tel Aviv which may be the largest LBGT community outside the US. All the other destinations make sense also from NY. I had no clue these locations weren't direct connects from NY.
March 2018 target date (via live feed info)
Take advantage and buy
Mike, I see you want to load up today to make a profit. How low you want me to sell you my shares?
Im Green. Who else is?
I have optionsXpress which is by Charles Schwabb but still have not received a proxy. I was told the 1-800 line posted in previous post would not apply to me.
Please fight for a reasonable reverse split. Don't let them jay jerk us. Since I purchased and held, the dilution reached a ridiculous 5 billion additional shares. Ultimately we all want whats best for the share price in the long run but on the same token, i don't want to be reduced that for every million we have 10 shares. And yes, i get it... Im better off with 10 shares of a successful business as opposed to a million shares of a non existent, but it would still be hard to stomach a drastic reverse split.
The new name is growing on me. I like the logo. The purple seems royal and if the planes sport a purple paint scheme combined with white or silver they will stand out not only on the tarmac but also in marketing. I won't be able to attend shareholders but I hope you all have a great time. I support the changes 100%
Drop the US and it sounds best. Global Airways is fine enough for me. Just my opinion
Hmm... reverse splits would be "x":1 not the other way around
I believe this is the exact reason why Kalita is interested in BLTA. Since day 1, freight cargo and passenger service were the plan. Having access to Baltia to schedule more freight in a more convenient on demand manner helps Kalita. I'm pretty sure (my assumption) Kalita air will contract Baltia for their own freight shipments and if you are holding ownership or investment in both companies, as Connie should be, it's a win win for everyone.
Think about it, instead of flying an entire airplane for a pickup and delivery for a client, all Kalita will have to do is make sure the package appears at a Baltia destination, and there you. A lower cost delivery for kalita with higher profit margin.
FDA is in business to approve treatments, not cures! There's no money in curing diseases but there's tons in treating symptoms till you die. INO's flaw is that they are developing cures that actually saves lives. The FDA doesn't have time for that. If your actually in business to save lives you threaten all the other businesses designed to keep you sick. So a little palm grease here and there and all of a sudden you got request for more information on disposable parts. Because protecting people from the same plastics they approve for anyone else is better for the public then actually allowing cures to be developed.
INO, get the rite scumbags on your board of directors and watch how quickly they will start approving your products (you got to label them as treatments).
If Baltia fails, all we need to do is look and see who gets the route from NY to ST petersburg to finally know who's greasing the palms at the FAA to ruin them. Then we can start investigating into them and begin a class action civil suite against that company once evidence is shown.
Where do we reference them loosing exclusive rights from jfk to st petes?
So now we know who's truly going to legitimately end up with our investments... The lawyer.
It's been awhile since I checked, whats the O/S at now?
Im assuming that with the application submitted to renew, the ability for another carrier to apply for it wouldn't be allowed. With them originally having exclusive rights they should have the right to reapply un contested until the FAA stated otherwise. Or am I wrong in this assessment?
Isnt the premise of baltia the fact they have an exclusive route from jfk to pulkovo? And no one is allowed to fly that route?
** Pure Speculation on my Part **
Do not take any of this as fact. This is just an assumption on my part:
I'm having a gut feeling that some sort of foul play is going on here within the FAA. Call me a conspiracy theorist or whatever.
Now that Pulkovo airport in St pete has been upgraded and is considered state of the art... It's a lucrative point into Russia. Prior to this update, no one cared about this route from JFK.
So why not grease a palm or two at the FAA to cause a cash burn. I'm not saying that the slide failures didn't occur. They did. But this delay from the FAA to make a final decision is retarded. June 28th till nov 20th and still nothing???
If anything, this post might inspire someone atr the FAA to say...hey, lets get this done because now people are assuming the worst in us.
Is the current report Share structure correct? It's dated back on July of this year.
LT decided to buy a billion because his other shares got soooo diluted recently. So why not spend more to make the desired return he originally wanted from his investment.
If you want to discuss class action lawsuit add Baltia to the list for share dilution! When I first purchased it was at 3.6 bil which was bad enough. Now look at it. Here's the thing, we can't do this because without revenues they will have to print more shares to pay for the lawyers to look at the paperwork.
You can ask anyone on this board who knows me, I've been a huge baltia cheerleader since day one. So me submitting a post like this speaks volumes as to how frustrating this ridiculousness with certification is. If and when Baltia begins operations and start generating income, they better prepare to deal with diluting our investment down to nothing. Im sitting on the sidelines till then.
Am i reading this correctly... LT officially owns more of Baltia then Igor? Wow!
Your right, they have only 7.9 billion... Not to far off from 8 billion though.
