So short term euphoria. I see they have reported 17M liabilities in last 10Q. That does not look good.
Why did it jump today? What's the catalyst here?
0.155 would be $1B market cap. It's a great acquisition but don't you think it's too rich of valuation but OTC is where big things happen. If GGI* dual unicorn conmen play can run 0.003 to 0.16 in 18 days, INCC can definitely do better once acquisition materializes. Hope Antonio does not issue 75B shares for this acquisition like GGI*.. LOL
Thanks for posting. Stock seems to be drifting lower/sideways.
Any further update since your last message? Any idea when 10K for Q4 might be announced?
LABS.CA ticker has gained over 700+ watchers on Stock twits in last week (600 watchers, 1300+ now). Large retail interest is building up. So called "private investor" putting 37.5 Million in private placement will be looking for payday soon. Convertible note loan sharks typically look for 3x their investment. There is huge pump building up. IMHO, if you have been patient investor, this should reward soon.
It's continuous dilution with ask size always at 10200.
Thank you for clarifying. Vvery frustrated with stock performance and relentless shorting.
They have about 12 Million warrants at 0.84c, that are being dumped. Shorts are well aware of this, and press the price further. As per conf call, Nasdaq is out of sight until next half of the year. So no institutional catalyst to support the price. Dropping revenue, GMP pushed to second half year, no new CPG deals. CEO is focused on next venture AltMed. Hope this explains all price action.
Interesting read on Cannabis stock short selling

Re ETF MJ rebalancing, if they were to increase medif allocation to only 2% from current 0.89%. With $1.2 billion assets, it will require purchase of $12 million worth approx 3 million shares equivalent of 9 days of stock volume on US OTC. It is worth mentioning that there are 10 trading days until medif deal closes.
Also, next ETF MJ balancing will occur around Sept 1st, very well into Oct edibles legalization euphoria and ETF MJ may not want to wait till then.
Thanks for presenting your thesis. Could you please back test 50% theory with Valens Groworks vgwcf, comparable extraction play? They sold shares on March 19 @ USD 2.20. On closing of placement on April 9th pps jumped to 2.50, reaching high of 3.60 on April 30th. On May 2nd they accelerated warrants conversions putting pressure. With 2 months from March 19th, and even with summer drawn down it is still at 2.90. Thoughts?
Fundamentally, at the time of financing, vgwcf had 0 revenue vs medif 22 million. Vgwcf got total of $43 million including ton of warrants whereas after deal closing medif could potentially get 87 million (no warrants)plus 20 million already secured as loan. Total $107 million which will be 21% of current market cap with diluted share count.
However, it may not be far fetched for stock to retest 3.80 with current market conditions. ETF MJ which holds only .89% of assets in medif will start rebalancing June 1-18. With medif at 4th place(revenue) among Canadian MJ stocks, ETF MJ will favor increasing medif allocation especially with depressed pps. This should provide price stability.
ETF MJ has only 0.89% of assets in MEDIF. Yes, less than 1%. Even slight portfolio balancing in favor of MEDIF can move the pps significantly, not to mention the price stability these ETF provide in times of short attack.
MEDIF is the leader of new sub-sector of extraction in MJ space.
Seems like more than revenue announcement at earning. White label deal(s)??
I know most of us here are LT holders. Just for awareness and while we wait on CVSI, there is another sub sector that's emerging very fast - oil extractors. There are couple of leader companies in that space. One of them reported one month sales of 10.5M/39% Gross margin with 40M contract with Canopy. Audited results were published early April.
Extraction industry is on fast expansion with Canada edibles legalization in Oct and cannabis oil solve the last mile shelf problem where flower smoking is neither discreet or cool with millennial. Don't mean to pump the tickers, do your research and see if you can benefit while things are picking up in oil extraction.

Mono, what do you think of LABS action today. EOD dump. Is it top, run over?
Thanks for sharing. However, isn't typical biotech risk of delayed trials, raising capital etc. exist? I don't see clearly defined timeline to revenue.
Good thing is bipartisan effort from Texas and California are encouraging. Hope new FDA commissioner more sincere than Gottlieb.
https://www.nbcnews.com/health/health-news/texas-california-hope-cbd-legalization-will-end-confusion-over-u-n991456
Gottlieb did quite a damage before leaving by putting delayed timeline for public hearing. Personally, Gottlieb didn't even believe if low dose CBD works since big pharma benefits from high dose CBD. He stated that FDA findings will be handed over to congress who can legislate CBD. So basically, even with fast working group results (June) and eager congress (60 days) it will be fall 2019 before CBD can be legalized. Let me know if I am way off here.
Mona Jr holds very large holding and is very sharp and well-connected when comes to deal making. He would not sell it for pennies on dollars at the current prices.
If Tlry were to pay 200% premium over current price, cvsi price has to increase considerably before any announcement so that tlry can justify reasonable premium to its shareholders after cvsi price increase. Just thinking!
Apparently DMS is not credible. Thanks for @zizzy for posting the link below.
Sorry, didn't mean to pump. Just saw the tweet, so thought might be worth posting.

$CVSI rumor that $TLRY will make a cash bid for company price going aorund is $12-15 good luck

Anyone keeping track of OS? Seems like warrant conversions going on since early March. Was the pre-annoucement of contract/Dec sales to help with those conversions?
Just wondering, isn't most of the info already pre-announced and baked into current pps i.e. 35M contract, 10M one month sales realization. Is there anything else in April 3rd earning report that will surprise or pps surge. I have opened position recently but not sure if April 3rd is the real catalyst. Share your thoughts please.
Tweet CVS at @CVSpharmacy to carry PlusCBD. Social media teams at most large companies have direct access to marketing and executive teams. Others can retweet, like etc and spreads fast. Calling 800 phone # is passe in this day and age!
Wow, if CVSI can move 4+ million volume on CURLF sympathy news, imagine when it gets national retailer placement.
Nasdaq does not scour stock boards. If you really want to be heard, tweet them at @Nasdaq and let them know that you are CVSI shareholder and looking for transparency. I have already done that in the past. Make sure to tag it with #nasdaq
You are awesome and so is CVSI. Speaks volume!
2019 Expo West Recap Video. Must watch.

This company doesn't deserve to be on OTC. Damn Nasdaq!
Playtrader army is here. Watch them fight for 20c move tomorrow.
I meant from fair valuation perspective, if CW is $18, CVSI should at least be 17 adjusting for extra cash on books CW has. Hope I got that right this time.
Good info. Btw, it is a paid promotion where MediPharm has paid $40000 for stock promotion.
https://www.cannabisfn.com/legal-disclaimer/
That's fair. For extra 85 million in cash, CW should have $1 more in pps with equal OS and even after ignoring better margins of CVSI etc.
It seems Roth conference investors are buying more of CW than CVSI. Being on OTC sucks! CV should at least be same pps as CW if not more.
BC, please note most of the Canadian companies showing triple digit growth in Q3 did not have much revenue before legalization in Oct, 2018. So starting from nil to any revenue will seem like astronomical growth. However, to be fair to your concern, true comparison should be with CWEB. We know both CVSI (10%) and CWEB(3%) growth dwindled in Q3. Let's wait for CWEB annual results. Btw, does anyone know when do they announce.
I don't share BC's over-pessimism but there are still some valid points to debate (btw, us ranting on penny stock board doesn't change a thing but still a good debate forum)
1. Growth slowed down Q3, Q4 which is incidentally when JD took over as CEO from Mona. It seems exponential growth came from Mona and Tomc.
2. As CFO by training, he is conservative and may be hesitant to make decision like entrepreneur or CEO of growth cap. If you seen his interviews, he lacks charisma of growth CEO unlike Tomc.
3. He hired IRTH for uplisting (paid them 200K stock valued at $400K at that time, $800K present terms) yet IRTH was replaced with IRC without sign of uplisting. Of course, IRC was hired to pave way for investment and industry relationship but premature lacking uplisting.
4. NYSE is expensive exchange in terms of listing fees (250K) but still backup option given CVSI is losing on precious investment dollars that other non-descript canadian companies are harnessing everyday.
5. CWEB with 100 million IPO cash can be serious competition when national retailers come in. CVSI has less than 15% that amount.
6. Separation of CEO and CFO is no brainer compliance gap and should have been addressed much sooner than Dec 28th, CAO hiring, especially with SEC situation in the past. You don't need NASDAQ to tell you that.
I am very long, not a basher or short. You can check my post history but still need to be more vigilant by listening to posters who may have valid concerns. CVSI is destined for big things. Again, writing on this board doesn't change that one iota.
An awesome weekend reading. Very detailed and exhaustive commentary on Cannabis and CBD. CVSI right time, right place.
Size Matters : Why Cannabis, Hemp and CBD will be More Impactful than any Analytical Prediction
https://myemail.constantcontact.com/Size-Matters--Why-Cannabis-Hemp-will-be-bigger-than-any-analytical-prediction.html?soid=1126638415668&aid=mxMroBMw2ig
Thanks for your effort! Please put my estimate as 17.1 Million for revenue, 2320 for store count.
Btw, Happy Women's Day!!!
Why Isn’t CBD Legal Yet?
Last year’s Farm Bill was supposed to legalize hemp and its derivatives — so why is the FDA dragging their feet when it comes to federal regulation of the booming industry?
https://www.rollingstone.com/culture/culture-features/cbd-cannabis-pot-legal-fda-803567/
Pro Hemp and pro-CBD Congressmen probably behind this. When congress person tells you it's urgent, as an administrator you don't say "if 2-3 years". Boot and door!
