What was the good news?
Good luck to all you guys still holding!
Why did it go from $0.06 to $0.02?
Looks like there was a $450k settlement prior to Gans taking over. Constant lawsuits and always at least a couple clubs not paying their royalties. But the more recent lawsuits appear to be small as otc noted or they get dismissed outright.
Can you break out their compensation for us? I am curious exactly what it is and you seem to have your finger on the pulse.
Do you see anything wrong with the fundamentals?
SCRH How many current licensees (prior to last Q adds)? Thanks!
I'm content to wait.
Pretty sure she didn't sell any shares. I went back to the last 10-K, from fiscal 2009, and Gene's stake is listed as exactly 10,313,300 shares, which as it so happens is exactly 59.44% of 17,350,000.
I think what happened is they realized they were erroneously rounding up to 60% of late, and they corrected that.

A little bit interesting price action today. Currently down 2 cents.
I kind of feel that the only reason for this thing to have come down today is if a disaster quarter happened, which it didn't.
I think Swick or someone mentioned it, but $0.80 of cash now... So the business you could say is being valued at $0.55 right now.. With how much in TTM EPS?
Thanks lio. Another question, maybe a little silly: does FNDM still own the actual Internet domain Fund.com?
Does anyone know Thomas's cost basis and during what time period he built his position? Thanks.
Can you explain this in layman's terms?
Almost seems like an insider-type purchase.
NHTC I wonder how/if the Chinese stock market correction (flowing through "Main St" economy) could impact Q3 and beyond, and if the Sharng will comment or be asked about this on CC.
USNU - Guess you don't think that whoever bought 5% of company in past 24 hours is worth following.
USNU - Looks like someone decided to buy 2.5% of the company today. Shares +33% on 100X normal volume and no news. (Although prior price has not been indicative of much of anything given illiquidity and often huge spread.)
Portable? Would VirTra qualify?
For what?
Yes saw that, thanks.
I was buying more yesterday.
PTNT will continue to win $$, either through settlement or at trial.
Anyone short will regret it.
Gregg patents will continue to pay dividends as PTNT works through other cellular companies, culminating with the big daddy Verizon next year. I actually think all the rest of them will settle rather than risk trial, and PTNT's hand is very strengthened by first, the AT&T settlement ($27M), and now (and especially) the win at trial vs. Sprint which occurred yesterday.
Remember: the first $16.5M in proceeds all goes straight to PTNT which reimburses them entirely for the cash paid for Prism. The share only kicks in after that cash is replenished.
In short, don't short PTNT unless you like to lose money like Sprint and AT&T. The patents are solid.
USNU - anyone got any intel/thoughts on this one?
VTSI ($0.1099) - Last night an article came out that represents the best thinking on VTSI to date:
Mr. Market Needs A Math Tutor: VirTra Systems Is Due A Major Revaluation by Denver Smith
You'll find in the middle of the long article that Denver has done unprecedented work to discover buyout valuations on competitors. He also makes specific 2015 projections, which I've linked here, the rationale for which can be found in the article.
The best part may be that he adds no value for Modern Round, which I am more and more confident each day will be a success. Check Modern Round FAQ to get an idea of how well thought out the concept is already.

Does RICK even put its name on most of its clubs? It seems there is value in the Scores name so I don't think Ricks would want to change that.
Is that Buffett?
>> If you're not competing for 1st might as well compete for last. <<
It looks like someone thought it was a big deal as they sold some shares at $1.30 or something lol
McMaster is exec chairman of a tiny publicly traded Western Australia company with some mineral assets in Brazil if I'm not mistaken.
I don't think this news is too relevant.
The risks in KDUS seem to be 1) if there were a dip in Miami real estate and 2) if they hold properties for years and slowly burn cash in the meantime.
Right but he have this recent guidance with only 1 month left in the quarter. Did he give the previous low guidance at a similar point through the prior quarter?
I was surprised too. He writes a lot for them so I think they favor him. The article was basically him just saying he's gonna wait for some sort of pullback.
Thanks for the heads up, Dave -- the article was written pretty fast. It looks like Paulo Santos, the guy who thought Q1 was negative wrote it. I don't have access to the article yet.
In other news, the stock price of AYSI's closest comp, Bisalloy (ASX:BIS), has doubled in the past month. I found out why: in April they came out with this profit upgrade:
a Rubber Ducky will do
swamp you out?
YYYYYYYeeeesssssssss
What did Buford pick?
It seems to me like the company has put much effort into getting in the news over the past half-year or so.
