Over many years and thousands of comments, statements and opinions here, this one, is one of only a handful I’ve agreed with you......Yet mildly conservative.
Volume picking up…..possible breakout this week.
Nice day. It’s a good sign If we break $6.50 and hold.
SharpchiCity,
Ivas is one part of many to create the synthetic training environment. Look into IVAS / SIVT(Soldier immersive Virtual Trainer) and STE-LTS FOF
both these solutions need accurate and realistic training weapons, scenario generation and feedback.
recommend watching this video from late last year.

THE ATMP contract is for maintenance of old legacy system....lots of them. The biggest hurdle to this contract is all the different vendors, and platforms are different making it very difficult to service. I'm doubtful ATMP authorized significant upgrades to the training simulators. I hope I'm wrong but don't think VirTra gets anything from it.
your thinking is similar to mine...
BUT
your equating ONE IVAS headset to ONE weapon or 1=1.
Since their are more duty weapons than soldiers the number could be higher 1=2 or 1=4........or it could be less since these training weapons or recoil kits won't be used in duty but IVAS will.
Also, would they sell recoil kits outright or Training as a service (TASS) similar to the STEP program but with recoil kits.
Just food for thought
Remember this is all speculative....we don't know who or what subcontractor they're even talking about and if it's even related to a specific program but things are lining up.
Most long term shareholders expected a higher top line including me but i'm not unhappy with the results. 8 cents is nice on a disappointing top line number, increase backlog and new bookings.
The military opportunity is the game changer. I've followed the STE OTA's in scope and size for 3 years....IMO they get a piece of something.
"We say as much as we can when we can, but there are instances in which we are prohibited from disclosing details. Unfortunately, this is one of those instances. But I can confirm that we've made very real progress in the military market. In fact, the fruits of that labor have started to show up in our backlog in a material way"
Anything Material is required to be recorded in the filing so we should see it Q2 - 10Q
This will accumulate back over 6 in the next couple of weeks. Expect a very strong q2
In Addition;
This is a RFP (Request for Proposal), Sole source and needs to be submitted by May 26th.
VirTra has a long relationship with the CPB so consider this a win a lock.
Don't expect an award or announcement for 1-2 months min.

OT - If your looking for an IVAS supplier look at intevac $IVAC. They are one of two image sensor suppliers for the Army's IVAS program.
Microsoft award from Army could be positive catalyst for Intevac, says Northland 08:44 IVAC, MSFT After Microsoft (MSFT) announced it was awarded a production contract to supply the U.S. Army with 120,000 solder-mounted digital night vision system over the next 10 years in a pact that could be worth $22B, Northland analyst Gus Richard noted that Intevac (IVAC) is one of two image sensor suppliers for the Army's IVAS program. Hey Coach! Hope your doing well.
We new a day like today would come, and IMO its only the beginning.
Based on how MicroCaps have traded over the last 10 months we may get another huge jump pre-market in the morning.
I'm holding for much larger gains. Congrats to all the longs.
I was being sarcastic haha.
It was pumped up this morning to over $14. Maybe Reddit crowd, maybe not....mostly flippers. Earning were great and we got lots of new eyes......that’s all that matters.
Does anyone know if Bruce Buffer walked out this morning and announce VirTra?
IT’S TIME!!!!
the amount of volume trading is huge!!
Intevac Photonics Announces New $7 Million Development Program
Source: Business Wire
Intevac, Inc. (Nasdaq: IVAC) announced today that it has received a $1.8 million development contract award from the Joint Directed Energy Transition Office (DE JTO) in Albuquerque New Mexico, representing the funding for year one of a projected three-year, $7 million development effort. In this program, Intevac Photonics will develop a Gated SWIR Sensor for High Energy Laser (HEL) 2D Fine Tracking and Adaptive Optics system applications, building on the Company’s experience in its fielded LIVAR® camera technology and legacy Fine Tracking / Adaptive Optics sensor technology first used on the Airborne Laser (ABL) program.
“The Gated SWIR camera developed under this program represents a return of Intevac to the rapidly-growing Directed Energy (DE) weapons systems market. DE systems are expected to become a critical component of our military’s advanced weapons systems and represent a significant future market opportunity for Intevac,” commented Timothy Justyn, executive vice president and general manager of Intevac Photonics. “This contract award demonstrates the U.S. military’s continued commitment to Intevac’s SWIR LIVAR® technology for new systems applications,” added Wendell Blonigan, president and chief executive officer of Intevac.
Intevac's digital night-vision sensors, based on its patented Electron Bombarded Active Pixel Sensor (EBAPS®) technology, provide state-of-the-art capability to the most advanced avionic fighting platforms in the U.S. Department of Defense inventory.
Allocating funds, receiving grants and donations is the hard part and can make the sales cycle long and tenuous. Here is an example; a PD in North Carolina had been wanting a simulator for 5 years.
One can only assume that the AM Shift is fully staffed, Shift 2 is from 2:15PM-10:45PM

My Mano!
Let’s hope 2021 is the year $vtsi finally breaks out. We’ve been undervalued far to long. Your a big holder, got in early....would love to see you make 20x here.
I caught a whiff of a breakout
Why?
Q4 should be in the range 6-6.5+ mil.
Multiple installation positions posted
Dangling Military carrot ??
LE agency certified training requirements mandated by EO 4 months ago.
Stealth and steady accumulation by full time MicroCap investors.
Can you smell it?
Awards and deliverables with in the year
Many Large Synthetic Training programs going live this year. Can VirTra get a piece of one is the question.
$16-22 coming in the next “30”
Hope your short big tech.
165-180 is my guess for the next “30”
Good quarter....conference call was very upbeat.
IMO, Mil work and service could be a major inflection point.
Major simulation programs like IVAS and S/SVT are developing.....I'm researching several small companies who have the potential to receive awards, 2021 and beyond.
Lol,
Your posts are much more entertaining after the first bottle of vino.
Hey Joe,
OT - Yes, Thanks for sharing.....I’ve heard all sorts of theories; including DHS, watermarking ballots and using CFR blockchain. The corruption and fraud is obvious.
Nice price movement today. Who’s been accumulating over the last few months?
Once this election mess is over; DJT will get 4 more years, we’ll have mass riots in these largely democratic cities, and Covid will magically disappear.......good time to by stock $VTSI.
Covid stocks have made their run. Probably a good time to take your profits.
no they don't compete.
IMO this is a big deal and validatdes that Virtras products fit well in the Military market. BISIM created the most widely used simulation software by all military branches and is currently developing One World Terrain for the STE program. Mr. Givens is a Rockstar!
