Great press gbb777
all the valuation measures you mention are alll low except for P/E... historically Virtras PE has been between 10-20 except for the last LUMPY quarter where they lost 800k. it's cheap based on your method/analysis.
What are your REALISTIC estimates for 4qtr?
Stock is cheap.....deep value play in motion.....strong buy.
They should be good. Guessing 8+mil in 3rd quarter revs and bookings in upwards of 20+ mil.
They officially entered the AR/VR Software space.
For those that follow the IVAS program https://www.defensenews.com/news/your-army/2022/09/27/new-rollout-for-the-armys-22-billion-mixed-reality-combat-goggles/

VirTra Reports Second Quarter 2022 Financial Results

Management Commentary
“We reported another strong quarter of growth in the second quarter of 2022 as we continue to deliver higher volumes of our world-class training solutions domestically and internationally,” said Bob Ferris, chairman and co-CEO of VirTra. “Total revenue and adjusted EBITDA increased 52% and 34% year-over-year, respectively, while gross profit margin expanded from the first quarter 2022 to 59%,. Further, market demand was noticeably strong in the commercial market, which includes the military market, as we recorded $3.6 million in commercial revenue in Q2, eclipsing the $3.2 million of commercial revenue we recorded for all of 2021.
“Our deliveries are accelerating, allowing us to convert backlog into revenue and resulting in backlog decreasing from the first quarter 2022 to $16.5 million. Additionally, our core law enforcement market tends to be seasonally stronger in the second half of the year so we remain optimistic regarding our sales pipeline and commercial opportunities, which provide us with significant growth opportunities. Complemented with a strong balance sheet that includes a $27.0 million working capital surplus, VirTra remains well-positioned for continued success. Additionally, I would like to thank the entire VirTra team and our advisors for their dedication and hard work in getting our financial filing status back up-to-date.”
Activists only look out for themselves
Current state:
Very good besides the financial reporting misstep. The C-Suite has been laying the Framework for years. Backlog is accelerating, LE simulation sales and subscriptions are becoming sticky as the training has been maturing and services expanded. Larger Facility for added capacity.
Thoughts on CEO's:
Many Companies have Co-CEO's....For example Bohemia Simulations. I followed their story for 10 years and their Software has been one of the most successful tools integrated globally into military programs. EX VBS, VBS3, VBS$, VBS-IG.
I think they Compliment each other very well each having a unique skill set the other may lack. Their salaries are relatively low compared to industry around 300k each. Bob being a founding member deeply cares about this company, has managed it well and has the right intentions....John Givens Historically has been a rockstar within the Military simulation space and is well connected..
I believe in the coming days and months things will look a lot brighter than they are today.
Impact of what? The programs posted? When the DOD is ready they will post it publicly.
VirTra at MDM 22 this week and SOFIC 22 Next
June should give us plenty to talk about.....SVT vendor(s) selection, IVAS testing Updates, TSIS Info STE

Acquiring John equates to getting Joe Montana during free agency in the prime of his career.
Yes, Significant growth is similar to what you said…..25% ++ yoy
"As described in Part III above, it is anticipated that the financial statements included in the Annual Report on Form 10-K will reflect significant growth in sales of the Company’s products for the 2021 fiscal year as compared to 2020. At this time, due to the financial reporting issues that remain open, the Company cannot provide a reasonable estimate of the results of operations for the year ended December 31, 2021."

In the first 9 months Virtra had bookings of 24.4 million, and revenue of 15.79. A difference of 8.61 million. Bookings are accelerating at a nice pace.....when will those bookings be delivered is the question. 6 mil Q4 should be a logical number but I wouldn't be surprised if some of those bookings catch up from previous quarters and get delivered in q4 ....just a guess but maybe 7.5-8mil topline.
Profitablity could be hit with the move to the new facility, double rents, increased inventory, travel, tradeshows, hiring, ect ect.
Don't think they need to.....Management has said over the years that all hard and software is easily converted to headset technology once VR/XR/MR is mature enough.
I didn't see anything related to APEX that would make me think they want anything vendor specific. It also looks like it's been canceled already.
Most importantly the agreement is Global.
I’ve been thinking the same thing. SVT is scheduled to release its selection of vendors this month to evaluate prototypes with an award later in the year. Down section should be public…..we both know Virtra hardware and software is well aligned with SVT requirements.
This one too.

This course is about utilizing the science behind adult learning to maximize training results. The current mistaken belief is that back-to-back hours of training is the best way to develop skills. However, the science is clear in showing how the use of learning systems such as interval and interleave practice are a much better way to instill long-term training change. Departments can achieve more with less, and we can show you how.
