C Fund has High Pole Warning Today
The high pole warning is given when a chart rises above a previous high by at least 3 boxes but then reverses to give back at least 50 percent of the rise. The reversal implies that the demand that was making the prices rise has given way to supply pressure. The pattern is a warning that lower prices could be seen in the future...

S Fund on Verge of Outperforming C Fund

TY hando :)
That could happen Jahvik as I see signs on the S Fund Chart at the close of trading today on the daily chart we could be in for a continued drop.
1) ADX turning up and hinting of a trend in early formation.
2) Today's candlestick body was entirely outside the lower Bollinger Band.
3) RSI NOT oversold yet.
If one is fully invested, caution is the word...
C Fund vs. S Fund Relative Performance
The below chart is a plot of the ratio between S Fund relative to C Fund. When the trend is up, S Fund is outperforming relative to C Fund. Likewise, when the trend is down, C Fund is outperforming S Fund.
I'm hoping we get a correction this week, and then S Fund seasonality kicks in causing the down trend line to be broken to the upside. Since I'm wishing, wish we had a true index fund choice which acted as a proxy for the Russ 2K. :D
fear not, there's another train coming along to jump onto. I just hope I get off my current C Fund train before it derails.
Happy Thanksgiving mates!

Hando, I think it's safe to accumulate C or S Fund as long as price trades north of each fund's 18-day SMA.
Good luck!
:D

If not, very close to at least a short-term top.
With that said, if stocks fall further on the floor, think $ will keep F fund's short-term trend intact.
