I find TriEye's technology very interesting, similar to Lidar to some degree. ML has said more than once, Lidar could be an area of focus and application for LWLG at some point. ML also loves to use the word "ubiquitous" when referring to the potential for LWLG's polymers, so anytime I see him rubbing shoulders with smart people from innovative companies (innovative enough for Intel to invest in), it gets my attention.

"Polymer attributes are impressive..."
The spider chart slide #35, depicting the performance attributes of (High speed, Stability, Low power and Size) paints a portrait that is truly "impressive" in that the incumbent technologies lag behind significantly in comparison to Polymer Slot. Polymers are maxed out on the High speed and Low power metrics with Stability and Size being just a whisker shy of the outer boundary, while the incumbents aren't even close. I don't think this will go unnoticed by anyone or any T1 entity who sees this with their own eyes.

Satellites for quantum communications
18.03.2024 - New mission will enable quantum cryptography across large...
At present our data are encrypted with mathematical methods that rely on the idea that the factorization of large numbers is a difficult task. With the increasing power of quantum computers, however, these mathematical codes will probably no longer be secure in the future. Tobias Vogl, Quantum Communication Systems Engineering at the Technical University of Munich, and his team are working on an encryption process that relies on principles of physics. “Security will be based on the information being encoded into individual light particles and then transmitted. The laws of physics do not permit this information to be extracted or copied. When the information is intercepted, the light particles change their characteristics. Because we can measure these state changes, any attempt to intercept the transmitted data will be recognized immediately, regardless of future advances in technology,” says Vogl.

Amazon to invest $7.2 billion in Israel, launches AWS cloud region Reuters
August 1, 2023 6:26 AM EDT
Amazon.com said on Tuesday it is planning to invest about $7.2 billion through 2037 in Israel, and launched its Amazon Web Services (AWS) data centers in the country.
Amazon's cloud services in the region will allow the country's government to run applications and store data in data centers located in Israel.
"The establishment of the Region will enable us to migrate substantial governmental workloads to the cloud, and we are confident that it will help us accelerate digital transformation in the public sector," said Yali Rothenberg, accountant general of Israel.
AWS $AMZN will invest more than $5.3 billion in Saudi Arabia as it works to build out its AWS infrastructure that could open as soon as 2026 in the Middle Eastern nation.
This comes shortly after AWS unveiled a similar sized investment in Mexico.

Thanks to velocity-phase matching of the electrical signal and the optical beam, electro-optic polymers have inherently high performance, and, crucially, the potential for this to increase even further in later- generation products. Technology with this performance headroom is essential to support the continual upgrading that the internet and optical networks need. Conversely, competing technologies – both those that are incumbent and those competing for new business – may not work well beyond the maturation of the current generation of technology.
One way to visualise this performance potential is to consider the same baseline of 3 dB optical bandwidth in each modulator. Over the past 10 years, semiconductor modulators have generally been achieving around 20-30 GHz, but recent enhancements to both silicon and indium phosphide designs have raised their performance to 40- 50 GHz, occasionally approaching 60 GHz. In general,
to achieve 100G (or 100 Gbaud NRZ) and 200G (or 100 Gbaud PAM4) encoding, a 70 GHz 3 dB optical bandwidth is required.
Today, many datacentre operators are seeking technologies that can achieve 200G per lane. Since polymer modulators can reach 70 GHz, and even 150 GHz – about double current lane rates – they could pave the way for 1.6T with 4 lanes at 400G. Moreover, when enhanced with plasmonic designs, modulator devices using Lightwave Logic’s electro-optic polymer material have exhibited 3 dB bandwidths exceeding 250 GHz.

Fox News' Special Report with Bret Baier last evening ran a segment on the growing concern over DC power consumption, they had an expert on highlighting that the demand on the grid far outweighs any new capacity coming online by the utility companies. Basically, he said we will reach a point where the lights will go out. Again Loudon Co. VA was the focus where county administrators had just announced they rejected the recent applications for new DC construction. Point being I suppose is get your generators ready.
Lightwave Logic Inc. Faster by Design
Polymer modulators for AI
It is the potential performance of new technologies
in photonics that will enable datacentre operators to navigate the demands of AI. Further, a new technology platform that can turbo-boost existing transceivers without changing the network architecture and infrastructure is a low-cost approach to speed up the internet, keep power consumption at bay, and keep the footprint and size the same.
The potential for Lightwave Logic’s polymer technology to make datacentre operators more competitive with their equipment upgrades has never been higher. As AI changes our lives, we face grand challenges ahead, but we have the motivation to utilise our toolkits to meet those challenges. I’m sure this will involve developing numerous new technologies, but electro-optic polymers are certainly an excellent candidate to move the needle forward for all of us.
From the Oracle call...
Oracle Chairman Larry Ellison cited increased business from Microsoft on the earnings call.
“We’re building 20 data centers from Microsoft and Azure. They just ordered three more data centers this week,” Ellison said.
The company’s other units didn’t fare as well.
--------------
Spoiler alert: We have a surprise with $NVDA coming next week. In the meantime, we are building data centers at record levels and these are the world's largest data centers. Still, it will take us 24 months to get these all online. RPO is growing faster than revenue because we can’t meet the demand. However, as we bring these online, they are immediately filling up with capacity, and we still expect our margins to improve even as our Capex goes considerably higher.
While speaking on CNBC a few minutes ago, CJ Muse of Cantor Fitz. is projecting NVDA to do $100B + in their DC business alone and earnings of $35 p/s for next year, then went on to say "if just half of DC's become AI enabled, they could see that division becoming a $500B business for them..."
