That is a truly frightening post! LOL
=^..^=
So you're really happy because you painted your toenails red?
Is your level of joy directly related to the color of your toenails? In other words, would you be more happy, or less, with a different color, say pink? And is the cookie an integral part of the equation or were you just hungry?
=^..^=
Yikes! Another twenty-four hours have gone by without any posts!
Why, it's as if you all left for a long weekend. OMG! That's what you did! You all took off for a long weekend and left the poor little cat alone to fend for himself!
Well, I hope you left plenty of food and water in my bowls, that's all I can say!
=^..^=
Cats are intended to teach us that not everything in nature has a function. - Unknown
Wow! Over twenty-four hours and not a single post.
This has got to mean something!
Of course, to a cat it just means it's a great time to take a nap...
=^--^=

=^..^=
We're napping...
=^--^=
Despite obvious downward pressure, CPRK is hanging in there like a hair in a biscuit.
=^..^=
RDG, in a strange way the lack of gung ho posters is actually somewhat encouraging. I mean, I've learned the hard way that when a stock steadily drops in price while it's being cheered on by a small group of rabid supporters then the wisest course of action is to run, not walk, to the nearest exit.
Right now we just seem to be waiting on news regarding the short term financing and any progress on the mill construction. We're in "wait and see" mode.
A good time for a nap....
=^--^=
No trades in the first 1/2 hour? That's a bit unusual.
BTW, the iBox is still messed up. All the info is jumbled together.
=^..^=
No "takers"? I'm sure I must have misunderstood your intentions. For a brief moment there I thought you were fixin' for a fight. But as I've been advised by a mutual friend that you're actually a sweet teddy bear with a personality on par with lukewarm vanilla pudding, I'm sure I was mistaken.
=^..^=
Those arrows indicate the post was exceptional. Didn't you know that?
=^..^=
If you mean how do you get them to...
http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/board.aspx?board_id=37
...then I think you just ask them to go there and either they will or they won't. Both parties have to agree.
=^..^=
Poor Amy! :(
Maybe the asst mods should give her yearly gift memberships?
Elcheapo41 is listed first so he can get 2008/2009, then Ally can get 2009/2010 and I'll pick up 2010/2011!
:)
=^..^=
P.S. Amy lives up north and has to conserve her funds. The way the price of oil is going up the average home will need $137,350 worth of heating oil this winter just to keep the toilets from icing over.
Of course, the 800-pound gorilla in the room is the following question:
Why, if copper prices are increasing and demand for copper is increasing, and CPRK has secured long term financing, uncovered incredibly rich veins of copper and other precious metals, and their mill is nearing completion, is the share price going down?
Well, the simple answer is that someone is selling. But who and why?
And those slightly after hours trades cannot just be MM's balancing the books or posting late trades. I mean, sometimes they equal around 1/3 of the daily volume and they're at or near the low of the day. Something is fishy there.
JMHO
=^..^=
OMG! You're right, Ally! I forgot that Darrell was the sensitive one! I hope he can find it in his heart to forgive me. (I've just GOT to cut back on the catnip during working hours.)
=^..^=
P.S. BTW, does Darrell still cry when someone gets voted off American Idol?
What's going to get a lot of people "Mad as Hell" is this upcoming election, if they aren't already.
I'm really amazed at the number of my conservative friends that say they don't trust McCain and the number of liberal friends that don't trust Obama. Are these two the best that America can come up with?
Where are George Washington, Thomas Jefferson and John Adams when we need them?
Oh yeah, they're dead...
=^..^=
Who ever said you were gentle?
If you're thinking of the people who call you an "old softie" I hate to break this to you but they're referring to your beer gut.
Bwahahahahahahaha!
=^..^=
Do we have to be specifically "mad as hell" to post? Because if I'm in mixed company I try to remain "angry as heck" so as not to offend.
Of course, I probably shouldn't even be asking that question because this morning I'm only "mildly peeved".
Sorry....
=^..^=
Aren't they already mining ore and stockpiling it? What we're really waiting on is the mill to be finished so they can start processing ore. So even if they stop mining ore in the winter months they should have enough of a stockpile to take them through until spring. But I doubt cold would stop them from blowing up rock and loading it on trucks. I guess a few feet of snow might slow things down for a while, but then those trucks are pretty big and heavy.
Maybe one of the posters who've actually visited the mine can give us the answer. I'm sure that question must have come up.
=^..^=
Poor Rocco...
I guess nobody told him that CATS RULE!
Bwahahahahahaha!
=^..^=
Wow! Elcheapo41, my favorite assistant mod (after Allison, of course), is back! Hooray, and welcome!
I hope all the dark times and animosity are behind us and we can now just all get along like mature adults. Then again, mature adults do all sorts of nasty things to each other and hold grudges that span lifetimes. Maybe we should all just be like little kids in a playground who throw sand in each other's faces and cry and pitch fits and then the next day are friends again. Yeah that sounds more like this crowd anyways. LOL
=^..^=
P.S. Please note that litter boxes and sandboxes are similar but not the same. If you're in a litter box and you throw something that ISN'T sand you better be sure to wash your hands afterwards. Consider this a public service announcement.
There has got to be more going on with these large trades that post each day after the close than simply earlier trades settling late.
I realize that pinks don't trade after the bell but something strange is going on, imo. These large trades are always at or near the low of the day. Whether or not it's a single big trade or the average of a bunch of smaller trades it still amounts to a sell since it's at the low.
And it's just a bit odd that it's only sells that happen to post late.
=^..^=
The horse didn't die, he just got chased out of the cornfield. And he ate a lot of corn while he was there so he may still deserve a beating or two.
=^..^=
Sure is quiet around here. I guess everyone is in a wait-and-see mode what with Wilf finally out of the picture and nothing new coming from the company.
Fair enough...I can handle that.
Zzzzzzzzzz......=^--^=
Good morning, Allison!
Go CPRK!
Btw, copper is the official metal of Cat's Litter Box board.
At least for this week...
=^..^=
Okay, that's the last time I ever say "Looks like the selling has eased off". Sorry about that...
=^..^=
Low volume today. Looks like the selling has eased off. Now we just need some buying.
Wow! GBDX is in the triple zeros? Last time I owned any it was around .03 a share. I remember people saying, "Better buy it up now 'cause these .03's ain't gonna last!"
I guess they were right. LOL
=^..^=
Well, today was somewhat disappointing. The chart was starting to look like we might be ready to head back up.
I guess we need some good news to light the fuse.
Check out what link? I don't see any link. Is it hidden or are you trying to drive me crazy?
That DCR and UCR are interesting. I'm going to have to check them out a bit more. I like things that trade in a channel. Unfortunately the way things usually go for me is I buy something and then suddenly a hidden trap door opens up under the share price and it plummets into subzero hell.
SOLM may have started to head back up after making a double bottom. (More likely the trap door is just temporarily stuck. LOL)
=^..^=
Keeping a close eye on SOLM today. It may be bouncing off the bottom bollie. Could be forming a double bottom, too.
Of course, a lot depends on the appeal of their patent infringement lawsuit against Toyota. If it goes their way then the sky's the limit, but if they lose out the pps will probably tank.
=^..^=
I wouldn't describe a $25,000 sale of stock in the past 2 months as "a lot" of insider selling, bhtjm.
Sorry to see you go as a board mod, Ally. You'll be missed by many.
Take care and happy trading!
=^..^=
Whether you trade 'em or hold 'em, if you want to win it all comes down to buying low and selling high. That's the part of the equation I'm still trying to master. LOL
That DGLY I was trading a few months back is doing well lately. I flipped it a few times in the $3 to $4 range but I see it hit $9.50 the other day. Now THAT'S one I should have just bought and held.
=^..^=
Well, I'm glad to know he's putting his free time to good use.
I see SOLM is back down to where it was a few weeks ago. I've had this one on my watch list for months now but completely missed the recent pop when it did a quick double on news. The company is suing Toyota for patent infringement and if they win it'll go to the Moon but if they lose it'll probably be sub penny within hours.
Ya place your bet and ya roll the dice...
=^..^=
Oh wow, I just found it on Wikipedia!
H.O.T. was a popular five-member South Korean boy band of the late 1990s. The five-member boy band enjoyed massive success alongside the likes of Sechs Kies, Baby Vox, Fin.K.L., S.E.S. and Shinhwa. Like many Korean bands, their name is an acronym - H.O.T. standing for "High-five Of Teenagers". Before their disbandment they dominated the charts, setting the standard for other Kpop boybands. They were formed by SM Entertainment in 1996 and disbanded in 2001.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/H.O.T.
You wouldn't think Darrell was Korean by looking at him, though. I guess he's been living in the U.S. long enough to lose his accent.
I wonder if he still eats dogs?
=^..^=
H.O.T.?
Hmmm... It must stand for something or you wouldn't have put periods after the letters.
Hairy Old Toes?
Heavy Obese Tubby?
Has Obscene Tendencies?
Let me know if I'm getting warm, okay?
=^..^=
Happy Saturday to you, too!
And Best Wishes for a Wonderful Sunday!
Happy Easter!
Sorry for being a bit late. I must have dozed off for a few days.
(We cats take napping to a level far beyond the reach of mere humans.)
Zzzzzzz..... =^--^=
