Hard to do that when there is big volume
stockcharts.com
If it actually opens around 3.40 there will be panic buying and covering.
A melt up is possible
$6.00
Tell me something, I don't know.
That guy probably has hundreds of thousands of shares and sold 15,000.
Probably to pay for a kids colleges tuition. Congrats to him!!
Watch the bid...ask doesn't mean anything
MM's looking for cheap stock so they drop the bid. Looking for weak hands to drop out
You need a 401k account with a brokerage firm. Schwab, Etrade, etc
Unless amended in the future, Gov't has warrant to purchase 80% of common shares at .00001. Common shares remain worthless. Careful trading, gents. Especially novice traders.
Be careful, gents. Was a nice run but common shares are still worthless
Be careful, gents. Was a nice run but common shares still worthless.
This doesn't trade after hours.
Hahahahahaha
That 1.34 was a print from earlier in the day
This puppy is gonna have a nice bounce
If GOFF wasn't a bloodbath, I don't know what is. Ya gotta feel bad for the novice traders that believed "there's gold" crap.
Market will need to rally to get over $1
Just so u know, Blue, I'm long from .75. Resistance at .95 then should get over $1 pretty easily. .90 cents is now support
Hasn't got over .90 yet!!
Besides the warrant Fannie is not liked very well in Congress. So there are political factors at work. That being said, any hints from the Obama admin that Fannies won't be closed down, the common shares will take off. But as many analysts have been saying for quite some time, holding the common shares is like holding a lottery ticket. GLTA
What's holding this back is the Gov't has a warrant to purchase 80% of the common stock for .000001.
They can exercise that warrant at any time. Essentially the common shares are worthless. The smart money has been going into the preferreds.
Unlikely as it is the Gov't will exercise, that warrant exists. And it's a big cloud over FNMA.
Has to get over .90 cents first!!
I wouldn't get too excited..just some short covering before the weekend.
Normal stuff for a Friday
Yes... It's a very complicated situation and the politics make it even more complicated. I don't think anyone fully understands the structure and how it gets changed!!
The problem is now that Fannie is very profitable again, the gov't is in no rush to do anything as this is helping the deficit issue. This will drag on for years. Possibly to 2017 when a new Prez is in place. Obama can't get anything passed in Congress.
I feel bad for all the novice traders that believed all the crap about a $10 stock after earnings announced
Got to get over .90 cents first!!
As everyone can see now, this was never about the earnings. The 60 Bil was known months ago. It's about the future of FNMA as a company
The way it stands now, the common shares are essentially worthless
News spreads !! The whole world knows about it. LMAO
Same old story - Buy on rumor, sell on news
As we all can see now, the great earnings everyone was waiting for is a bust. It's not about the earnings
There is just no interest in this sub penny POS right now.
Great for the Gov't, not so great for Fannie!
Be careful!!! 99% of all sub pennies never work out
Probably just some short covering before the weekend. I wouldn't get too excited about it.
Everybody and their grandmother knows about the earnings. The stock market anticipates good earnings.
The problem is, it is not their earnings. The earnings get swept to the Gov't. This is a very risky stock for the common holders. Many analysts compare it to a "lottery ticket". Be careful, gents...especially the novice traders.
How is that good news? They want to privatize both companies!!!
Geez
The article on April 12th says earnings due in upcoming week!!
Sounds Ike earnings will be great.
Backing up the truck here.
Just to clear something up as a former broker, it's "hitting the bid" or "taking out the offers".
You don't hit the ask or slap it, etc.
Let's get the terminology correct, gents.
In any case....GO REAC!!!
"Gettin stronger every day"
You really can't blame day trades. Only 6 mil shares traded today.
You need 10 - 15 mil for a nice move
Not enough buyers around
