I don't understand the big word, unconscientionable. I've never heard such a word. Does that mean she's really rich? Sorry for the question.
Dude, EXTREME uranium, dude. We've got to be careful. Because it is WAY extreme. Watch out. That sounds like a PROBLEM. Tell me more.
Thank you, Butters, for these insights. You obviously have done your DD on niobium and are providing a unbiased, straightforward view of the value niobium provides to society. You are a credit to the forum in which you post, and I for one want to thank you for the edification. I thought niobium made steel lighter, and stronger, and to me that seemed valuable. But, thank you for pointing out that it is DOG FOOD. I get it now. Thanks.
Only one pair measured. But based on drilling there are 52 Mtonnes Bigfoot claws measured and 82 Mtonnes inferred. Open at depth. Whole lotta Bigfoot.
When the company goes bankrupt will they keep this message board open? Because, let me be the first to say, I'm really going to miss you guys... And girls. We've had some good times here, haven't we? I just wish that the company management had done half as good a job as the managers of this board. I got worried earlier this week because the board's focus seemed to shift away from the day to day facts over to confusing counterpoint. Thank goodness you all chased that element away! Close one! Don't believe the hype!
So how does MCC and Firelake Capital play into the whole thing. Have you figured that out yet?
You may want to lay off the Red Bull, Moojer. Or at least cut back.
"A du in
Clever! You are very good at nail hitting.
CRes must have been the purchaser of the NSR option on the Rapski claims in June 2011. They paid $175k. They bought Otto for $100k. Sounds like they haven't done much with Otto since they bought it. Maybe they're waiting for the option on Nemegosenda to pay off. Sounds familiar.
Nice. Thanks.
Have tried to compare the Niostar deposit to Elk Creek / Niocorp PEA info, but I have trouble with the mining tech language. Plus I'm no good at math. Anyone done the comparison/ made any progress?
Great information. Thanks for sharing the IR's response.
You are saying that people who post in this forum are foolish. I disagree with you. there is often useful and sage discourse here. Why are you calling those who post here foolish?
Those that write you post rumors are just starting rumors. They can't prove that they or you exist because it was never in a PR.
<quote> The problem is that I have facts about Dan and you don't! LOL! </quote>
Tell me more about the nonexistent board that you referenced in your previous post. Are they just in your head? Because then I could understand your claim that they are influenced by your posts. Or are you saying that all of the current management at Sarissa believes in these nonexistent people and that has created the posts here so that I have it backward? Please help me get the facts straight.
You are saying that posts in this forum influence the decisions of the new NioStar board of directors? Not sure I agree.
HAHA!! You blame Dan's leadership but he's not even on this board anymore! I tried to show you the post. It's that first one you wrote earlier. I can't MAKE you read it. HAHA!! Find the post where I criticized anyone on this board! You can't because I didn't. I can't invent this stuff. Man, you are brilliant! Thanks! You should be a leader.
You are a smart guy. I'm asking you to step up and lead. Make a difference.
HAHAHA!! In the first post today you said the forum is a failure. That is what I'm referencing. Then in the post right before the one I'm replying to you claim that the posts in this forum do not contain fact! HAHA!! I can't invent this stuff on my own!
Interesting that you are now saying that this forum is a failure. You are often leading the discussion. By "failure" do you mean that this forum does not contain useful information? Or are you saying that people don't post enough? Maybe if you provided more direction about proper content for posts, we could turn this place around! Would you've willing to recognize the failure and lead?
Are you saying that this forum is a failure?
How wasn't any harm not lost? You don't think that Sarrissa doesn't have a chance to what? I know It's that way with Scott. But Dan went a different way. Can you address that for us?
Great advice! Thanks! I always enjoy your posts.

...is to a paper from 2010 by Dr. J. Malcolm Gray that discusses the use of Niobium in various pipelines. Specifically, quoting from the intro paragraph:
“A brief history and chronology of the developments are presented and current niobium usage is illustrated with examples for Double Submerged Arc Welded (DSAW), seamless and Electric Resistance Welded (ERW) pipe.”
Also in the intro, Gray states that the niobium content in linepipe systems has increased from 0 in 1957 to 14 million pounds of contained niobium in 2001.
One major German manufacturer of offshore seamless pipeline is Schoeller-Bleckmann Edelstahlrohr
http://www.sber.at/en/
Part of the Tubecex manufacturing group.
The SBE website defines stabilized steel, one of their products, as:
Stabilized steel
Steel is stabilized by addition of titanium, tantalum or niobium. These are elements, which have a higher affinity to carbon than chromium, so that titanium-, tantalum- or niobium-carbides form instead of chromium-carbides. The chromium dissolved (free) in the metal lattice, however, further provides a good corrosion resistance of the steel, which it would loose with the formation of chromium-carbides.
https://www.sber.co.at/en/services/lexicon/glossary/s.htm
This suggests that Schoeller-Bleckmann Edelstahlrohr is a end-user of Niobium that they use as a micro-alloying agent in the steel that they use to hot-roll seamless pipes.
If you look at the PAV list on Dan Byrne's Linkedin page, the last entry I see is for
Miroslav HORENIN
Product & Business Development Manager, Schoeller-Bleckmann Edelstahlrohr
Very interesting, IMO
You define rumor as information that the person does not believe when they post it. But as you said people tend to post their dreams that they believe; therefore, the posts are not rumors.
You are assuming that the posts are misleading and it was intensional to make them misleading. You are assuming that the true meaning of the post is masked, man. But you can't be sure.
Consider this: Sarissa / NioStar is in a situation where we win or lose. It's 50:50, two outcomes. We've already been on the bad end twice so it's WAY more likely that things will work out this time. That's just math.
I can't imagine that everything that everyone posts on in this forum is hollow rumor, it can't be true. Stocks rise and they fall, it can't be the rumor causing any of it.
You are clever! Good one.
Who is complicit? The people or the IR?
I'm sure that the old management team knows the potential value too. Are you saying that Scott Keevil will not have ownership of NioStar or that he will not have a controlling interest?
Nice one!
You can't prove that the comments I made were not from IR because you don't know if the comments were made by IR in the first place. How could you?
It's more reasonable to think that the statements people post and attribute to IR are very close to what IR said because when someone gets an update they will be likely to post what they were told.
You can't know if someone believes what they post is from IR because you can't see into their head and you have no way of knowing. You are creating a rumor by claiming that the rumors are rumors. Continuing on that path will lead to more rumors and soon nobody will be able to, and therefore will not, believe anybody.
People are either lying or they are telling the truth so there is no way you can claim with certainty that every rumor is based on exaggeration and fabrication.
Don't know. I don't understand metaphorical speech. If shoe leather are shares and boiling is selling then my pots are cold. Thanks for sharing your response from Dan though. I appreciate the information.
Thanks for the quick response. Well said. I am always a bit surprised how strongly you believe that this company has no value -- no hope at deriving value from the ore in the deposit, that you believe every word the IR states is a lie for the sake of lying or is always being misstated for the benefit of the longs, and that you think management is actively working to drive the company into bankruptcy. These opinions are questionable in my opinion. I think the company has a solid foundation of a very valuable asset, that restated messages from the IR should be the basis for reasonable discussion in this forum, and that the IR is fundamentally honest and is working hard for the good of the shareholder.
That sounds right.
What is the purpose of this forum if that is always the bottom line?
