Rec finished accum & now holding CTIX. I come here daily, listen more than I talk, and am grateful beyond measure for everyone's contributions.

Agree totally.
"With 10 million between the lawyers and Aruda hopefully that $0 cost basis supply is getting close to being exhausted. That would only leave Aspire who will have a much higher cost basis.
I think it would be reasonable to expect him to be much more selective in selling the remaining 6 million when he receives those."
TOB, It truly doesn't make sense- any more than the logic seen in a school of fish. To wit, our IP is sound. Trials are progressing unusually well. The market for B alone is staggering. Everything else could be gravy on top. The flashing idiot light that tells me to jump ship is this: Chief Execs selling shares. To my knowledge, Ehrlich and Menon have not done so. I'm holding my accumulation 3 years running. I've seen MUCH worse chicanery than this recent activity, only to watch another biotech with FAR less in its pipeline rebound two-fold. Take stock in CTIX's assets, they are considerable and have the potential to surprise even the most optimistic among us. God bless and best of luck to all.
A big drop, yes, but one only need trigger a small percentage of stops to start a cascade. One article can do it, especially if it's Hollywood quality. This smacks of professional PR work. It would take me a year and several people to produce something fractionally close to this. Somebody invested a lot into this hit piece. A SURPRISING effort was expended here to assail this relatively unknown pinky clinical biotech- and WHY?? Malice perhaps (former PYMXers/someone of the mind Menon or Erlich slighted them) but I lean more toward the usual motive of profit. The only reasonable impetus behind something like this, in my opinion, is to advantageously acquire shares of something that is destined to appreciate. Either way, we will recover. Nothing changes. At this point its all pennies. And to those who think this crap doesn't happen on Nasdaq, think again. Uplist would be sweet, but we live or die on the substance of Partnership/License/Buyout/Approval, read:REVENUE.
You echoed my thoughts exactly on this point. Libelous, AND the damages are quantifiable. I'm sure Leo's attorney is seriously considering "Mako's" assertions actionable.
If Orphan Designation prior to PH1 completion is atypical, perhaps one of our industrious SA and other crowd source contributors would write a commentary on this preemptive strike tonight. Wonderful developments! Aspire having waded in deeper, Cambridge Global loading up 2 million shares, and now FDA (presumably) liking the data. Confidence is building
re: Cambridge Global Equity buys 2 MILLION shares Good bird-doggin ericseb2003! VERY encouraging!
Nail on the head, BioHedge. Excellent post
Thank you, BK for your diligent work and for sharing this information with all of us. Leo's replies were terrific, but your questions were exceptionally informative in their own right. Kudos for building such a quality rapport with Leo. One invests not only in the company, but in the company it keeps. I sleep soundly with this gem in my portfolio AND knowing the caliber of my fellow shareholders.
To the FDA, a drug working or not working only helps to assign value to it. Of this I'm sure: FDA approval is a Pay-to-Play process. At some point, Leo will be propositioned to make a charitable contribution to someone's "Foundation", with a wink-wink implying exactly such. Leo's a smart guy, but remember- it's the ball-holders, not the share-holders who'll make or break this company.
The mission of the FDA is the same as that for all governmental agencies- To insist upon itself. To increase its personnel, grow its footprint, maintain sufficient plausibility for a budget, and just like all organisms, to struggle forcefully for the sake of its existence. Function and outcome is purely incidental. The public would be better served if the data were presented, rather, to a turtle on a post.
Our updated Trial Progress graphic! Lotsa green! Sexy-Sexy! Thanks Leo! http://investorshub.advfn.com/uimage/uploads/2015/6/2/kcwqbdrugs_in_clinic_2015.jpg
You're invested in something unique here: 7 things to hang your hat on- CTIX is (1) a tight-knit group of Nobel-quality PEOPLE, 2) the INTEGRITY of our team is beyond reproach, (3) the VISION is a brilliant balance of focus and diversity, (4) our CAUSE (every one of them) is noble, (5) the SCIENCE is sound, (6) the VETTING is being done in very high-profile institutions, and (7) the global DEMAND for our top three INDs is almost beyond comprehension. The market, however, is as erratic and impulsive as a flock of chickens- This stock's 1st touchdown will be seismic.
Corporate website is dragging behind.
Anyone got Leo's ear? Our pipeline graphic is still featuring 2013 and 2014 projected developments. Too many words, too little curb (read: visual) appeal. A little sprucing-up wouldn't cost a thing. Mentioned this to corporate two months ago, rather surprised they haven't put one of their kids on it by now. Maybe a few like-minded emails could jar this thing out of 2013.
I'm finally out of dry powder! And yet I want more shares! Might have to start wearing hoodie and robbin' liquor stores to support this addiction
Now THAT is a meat & potatoes press release! Wow!
I'm with you Smitter, this board is peerless with respect to the level of intelligence and significant contributions. I hold everyone here in the highest regard. Rarely do I learn so much from an ensemble. There is something unique about the Cellceutix story- Its exposition, yes, but moreover, there is a certain optimistic suspense. There's just something different about this company- an inherent "goodness" resides at its core.
Brilliant find, George. A HUGE shot of confidence w/re to MD Anderson, and our relationship with them. DF needs to see past its ego and get its ass in gear.

Upcoming Catalysts updates are a blessing to our board. Thank you to all who bullet these items from time to time! Nothing sells our product better, save for putting it into a graphic form. Does anyone have the creative wherewithal to replace our tired & outdated progress bar graphic in the header of our discussion board? A picture says a thousand words- WT

Some of the catalysts I'm waiting/hoping for in upcoming weeks:
1) FDA greenlights B-ABSSSI P3 trial.
2) CTIX signs Big Pharma partnership soon after P3 begins.
3) Amazing P21 data from recent cohorts.
4) Kevetrin P1B trial to begin at UofB at 450mg/mm dosing.
5) Brilacidin OM P2 trial is ready to roll.
6) Prurisol P2 trial launches at last.
7) Candida & Gram-Neg Animal Study Updates - (Brilliant Results)
8) Other exciting Anti-Inflamatory News
9) Nasdaq Uplisting after Big Pharma partnership
10) FDA Grants Brilacidin Fast Track status, Priority Review, and 5 Yr Exclusivity after successful end of P2 meeting for ABSSSI.
11) CTIX to present poster at ASCO 2015. ]
Always consider motive. Ours and Cellceutix's is completely different from that of Dana Farber (Or any university for that matter). Our motive is results and product. DF's motive is ongoing employment and publishing. We are pressured by market forces. Universities are insulated from said forces. And don't get me started on the FDA. More people die as a result of that maliciously self-important rube-goldberg machine than will ever be helped. Mark my words- Their M.O. is simple: milk the clock.
HA! Best analogy ever! Well done!
"reads like a Jr. High book report, where the student didn't actually read the book"
Vlady1, with the recent price action, I think we've attracted some real cheap dates. One night stands, even. Too bad we can't screen 'em out, but if it's any consolation, I'm about to take yet another 500 shares off the market for a LONG long time.
a la Ben Sharvy - Goes into hiding after his first epic SA misfire, then comes hopping back here, all righteously indignant, only to shoot himself in the OTHER foot. Reminds me of the Black Knight from Monty Python having lost every limb - "tis only a flesh wound"
Time to re-allocate Secret Service detail to Dr. Mennon. He's a national treasure (God knows its being wasted elsewhere) Seriously, both our Chiefs need to be considering security measures- personal, family, and IP, as these medicinal assets become the focus of worldwide attention.
Unless I've read wrongly or my brain's in the twilight zone (it is 1:45am) Cubicin (Dapto) is indicated for gram positive infections, ie: staph and many SSSIs. It can't combat Pneumonia. My understanding is that Brilacidin has potential gram negative efficacy- which immediately opens up a VAST market well beyond that currently served by Vancomycin and Daptomycin. Again, Brilacidin's value is proving difficult to quantify, as the indications could be unusually broad ranging.
Karin, You invest a great deal of effort into your thoughtful, factual, and WELL CITED responses to nearly every challenge on this public board. Responses like these take many hours to assemble. I'm sure I'm not alone when I say thank you (and also to several notable others on this board!) for the uncommon diligence you all share. You have done more for illuminating truth and dispelling manipulative rumor than by any IR I've seen to date. Because of your dedication to facts and empirical data, this "pink sheet" stands like Colossus of Rhodes in a wading pool. Deeper, more befitting waters await. All in good time.
Amen, BK! And having a novel class of antibiotic superior to current last line protocols, gram-freakin'-negative to boot! This isn't a drug that needs to be pushed, there is a worldwide pull so strong, even light cannot escape the vortex. I doubt even the clusteryouknowwhats at the FDA can slow this juggernaut down.
Not selling a single share. Under normal circumstances, I don't ride a knife drop- But that's not what this is. This action is the result of speculators who came on board whie CTIX was gaining cheap attention- and God bless them, they made some handsome profits. I know that just ONE INDICATION for Brilacidin will vault this company into the Cubist club. Multiple indications will follow, then a partner/license/buyout is imminent. One of MANY. I hate to see paper profits vanish as much as anyone, but I'll forgo that $100k for what could easily translate to millions in very short order, and that's saying nothing about the nobility of curing human suffering. As Leo says, "The best is yet to come"
Was married 22yrs to a BiPolar/Schizophrenic- charts like today's don't spook me. Queue Lt Dan:
CTIX attribute #1: INTEGRITY- The bedrock foundation upon which Leo, Doc and the Cellceutix team have exceeded my every expectation. It is a rare trait among its industry peers. I sleep soundly with this investment. Find an honest team, and half your DD is done.
[momentous platforms, momentous management, momentous execution, momentous market potential]
Bureaucracies are the knothole in the floor- they accumulate and shelter debris. I can scarcely imagine the indignation felt by anyone with the mind of a Dr Mennon, having to submit their science to such rabble for approval.
I'm not selling- not one stinkin' share. These hands: like rigor mortis
Up 300+% in under 2 years and I go on record calling this "chump change" NOBODY's getting these shares! What other company could make me say such things? May God continue to bless this team and the work they are doing.
AP wire:US gov't had role in Ebola drug given aid workers-The experimental treatment the U.S. aid workers are getting is called ZMapp and is made by Mapp Biopharmaceutical Inc. of San Diego. It is aimed at boosting the immune system's efforts to fight off Ebola and is made from antibodies produced by lab animals exposed to parts of the virus Accolades to Mapp BioPharma, but just how does Cellceutix apply for a total suspension of FDA protocol? Hmm? Love that "Equal Protection Under the Law" thing we've got going on. My God the millions across this nation that suffer and die every year at the hands of the FDA... Why would any Biotech in this day and age willingly subject itself to this stifling bureaucracy? Couldn't CTIX move offshore to a more conducive (and equitable) research environment?
You're safe- my 1.64 didn't fill. It'll only go up tomorrow.
A-FREAKING-MEN! Lest we forget the many occasions in Biotech where a capricious BOD has voted off the island, the company founder, the CEO, or the chief scientific officer. Directors often carry lofty titles to puff up the corporate resume', but they amount to little more than layers of an onion. They will come to regard the founding officers' idealistic goals as sophomoric and abstract, while the directors' sights become set upon the instant gratification of preposterous salaries, arbitrary Milestone Bonuses and generous options. They will suck down the cash reserves like a 5-horse shop-vac. They'll even fire sale your lab equipment to keep the gravy flowing. The BEST thing any BOD has ever contributed is MORE OVERHEAD, compromised agility and extraneous input. The WORST thing a BOD has ever brought to a company is a zero bid. Not so sure I like the middle ground.
I was wondering the same thing. Seems to me that it would be desirous for the bolus to be infused in one sitting, rather than broken up over an extended period of time, allowing metabolization to significantly diminish the baseline of active drug in the bloodstream. In other words, Dr Menon's asking the FDA to step out of their retrograde DMV-culture government employee mindset, and put on their little scientist hats for 6 stinkin hours. Ooo! Romaa found a good reference on the clinical site. I defer to our esteemed colleague

Can someone elaborate on the significance of this...
"Cellceutix has filed an amendment to the trial protocol with the FDA to limit the dosing duration of Kevetrin to six hours. Cellceutix filed the amendment to keep the dosing time frame within a reasonable number of hours as the dosing level increases as the trial progresses. "
You hit the nail on the head! ONLY when your chiefs have (1)Honesty beyond reproach, and (2)this kind of skin in the game, will you see negotiations of this calibre! Well done Leo!!!
Wow totally missed this one! Thx Gov Very encouraging!
Don't sweat it, my 1.71 gtc was sittin there the whole time and never filled a share
some crazy person just sold me 2k shares @ 1.82... I swear I don't know what we're gonna do with these people
