You are focused only on the short-term fluctuations of the PPS as it reacts to PR. I have no concern for that at all. I'm focused on increasing revenues, payment of debt, share buybacks, and eventually profits--all of which I believe will occur with AAPT. I have been long on many consumer product companies over the years and have been rewarded many times over. I know when I see a gem.
Yes, Walmart was so alarmed that they issued more POs.
Nutrabars is the trojan horse. Once you get your best seller in the store, and revenues are increasing, you gradually work on getting your other products into the store. That's the way it's done.
VENDING MACHINES: I would like to see the entire line of AAPT bars in vending machines wherever there is a high traffic of dog owners: kennels, dog motels, veterinaries, dog parks, beaches, etc. I guess they could make a small pawtizer pack too. AAPT products are perfect for vending machines. Just my thoughts.
I think Pawtizers are at TJ Maxx. I've been meaning to check out TJ Maxx stores in my area (Roseville), but I haven't gotten around to it.
LONGS, SOMETHING YOU SHOULD KNOW: BBDA's market is bigger--much bigger--than the company knows. Very few people know, and big pharma does not want the public to know, that Melatonin (the same ingredient in Koma Unwind and Relax 5) provides relief from the symptoms of GERD (gastroesophageal reflux disease) AKA acid reflux disease. There are currently no companies marketing Melatonin-containing products for the treatment of GERD. They only target the rest and relaxation beverage market. Why ignore the other market?
Doctors currently prescribe proton pump inhibitors (PPIs) for GERD, peptic ulcers, and h pylori. Examples of PPIs include Prilosec, Prevacid, Aciphex, Protonix, Nexium, and Omeprazole. This market is HUGE. I discovered by accident that sleep aids containing melatonin also relieved my acid reflux symptoms much better than PPIs and without the side effects. My acid reflux was so bad that doctors prescribed as high as triple the dose of PPI daily! Since discovering the effects of melatonin, I have gotten completely off PPIs. I take a daily dose of a gummy sleep aid containing melatonin. I look forward to using BBDA's melatonin-containing beverage products.
Don't believe me? The connection between melatonin and acid reflux and lower esophageal sphincter (LES) can be googled and verified on the internet. There are also a few studies posted on the internet confirming melatonin's ability to relieve symptoms of acid reflux disease.
A clever company would not ignore the acid reflux market, but would steal the market from big pharma. Melatonin is cheaper to manufacture than PPIs and is considered a dietary supplement rather than a drug. Think about the money such a company would save for the healthcare industry. I think BBDA can be that company, if they knew this market existed.
Just my opinion.
Disclosure: I am long BBDA and don't suffer from acid reflux disease as much as I use to since taking melatonin. As always, check with your doctor first if you are considering switching to melatonin.
Go BBDA!!!
maxxm, AAPT is on the cusp of becoming a viable business model with a growing revenue stream.
AAPT rising.
All in my opinion, but true.
Agree. AAPT is on its way to generating some serious revenue, whether the shorts like it or not.
As AAPT revenues increase, stock price will follow.
Bankshot - When I used to call on buyers at large supermarket chains for a snack food company, we had to compete for the buyer's attention against thousands of other vendors. The buyer is the gatekeeper to the store chain. It goes like this:
Initial appointment with buyer (bring samples)
Follow-up phone call
Follow-up phone call
Follow-up phone call...
Second appointment with buyer (bring samples)

BINGO!!! Phone call from buyer requesting to add our product to their shelf.
Persistence pays off in this business.
From 10Q:
All American Pet Company, Inc., was initially organized under the laws of the State of New York ("All American Pet Company, Inc. NY") in February 2003. In January 2006, All American Pet merged into All American Pet Company, Inc. a Maryland corporation ("All American Pet Company, Inc. MD"). In June of 2012, All American Pet Company Inc. merged (the "Merger") into a Nevada Corporation ("All American Pet Company, Inc. NV"). The Company has formed a number of wholly owned subsidiaries to provide for accountability of each of its operations. All American PetCo, Inc. was formed in January of 2008 to provide corporate infrastructure and management services. All American Pet Brands, Inc. was formed in April of 2009 to be the Company's warehousing and manufacturing operation. In September of 2009 the Company signed a license and distribution agreement with AAP Sales and Distribution Inc. a third party company that obtained the rights to manufacture and sell certain of the Company's products on a non-exclusive basis. AAP Sales and Distribution Inc.'s operations have been consolidated with All American Pet Company, Inc. based on accounting guidelines for Variable Interest Entities. As used in this report, the terms "The Company" and "AAPT" refers to All American Pet Company, Inc. NY and All American Pet Company, Inc. MD before the Merger, and to All American Pet Company, Inc. NV, All American Pet Company, Inc. and its wholly owned subsidiaries and Variable Interest Entities after the Merger.
New product. Walmart needs to determine how well Nutrabars sell. This is standard. Also, most chains like to keep their carrying costs down, so they do not want to have pallets of products sitting in their store receiving area. Just-in-time (auto) deliveries are preferred. I would like to see AAPT offer Walmart promotional pricing with large volume purchases and provide cardboard aisle displays. You can get higher volume sales if you get the product into the aisles (or on endcaps) to take advantage of consumer impulse buying.
Wow...expenses for Consulting Services, that's real evidence of a scam. Gee, I guess small start-ups don't normally spend money on consulting services, or record losses during their development stage. Wow, that's just mind blowing, bankshot. I think the feds should raid AAPT and all the thousands of start-ups that expend funds on consulting services and are operating at a loss. lol
Where's Waldo? lol
Quantity and delivery time is determined by the issuer of the PO, in this case Walmart. With this initial series of POs, Walmart is getting a feel as to how the product sells and at what rate the product sells. During my days working for a snack food company, a new store chain would order an initial small quantity of our product and then increase the order quantity (and shelf space) when they were satisfied that the product sells.
What gives you the idea that it will not happen? Of course we all hope they pay back creditors.
Option7 - It is quite common and cost effective for start-up companies to use third parties to manufacture their products and to use rented equipment. In fact, I used to work for a snack food company that did just that. I know of one small company that is now a $13.00 per share stock that started out, and still is, contracting out most of the manufacturing of their food products. Their products are now in all the major stores. This company also has an old address as they moved recently. Companies move as they grow. The smart companies find cost effective ways to manufacture their products. For small companies it is costly to purchase and maintain equipment. Even more so, labor is costly due to all the benefits, Obamacare, etc. Third party manufacturing and old addresses are not evidence of a scam. Please provide hard evidence that AAPT is a scam.
That's good to hear. Which Walmart in the Sac area? I live in Roseville.
Where the bars are manufactured is irrelevant. Why would the extruders shut down when the company can hire employees from temp agencies during the breaks? We do it all the time. Another option is to increase production before the breaks, and then stock excess bars in the warehouse. There are always solutions.
Gradual share buybacks as revenue increases.
Send emails to the various retailers asking if they sell Nutrabars manufactured by All American Pet Company. Most of them will forward your inquiry to their buying department. Some will even let you suggest a product on their online form. I've already sent out a dozen emails and will send out email to more retail chains.
The computer is not the issue. The data and information in the computer is the property of AAPT. I handle contracts for the entity i work for, and we always insert an "ownership of information" clause in our contracts whenever company data is involved. The same applies to employees.
As for keeping books, they can contract with an outside accountant for this role. No big deal.
Auto order...cool! I like that!
Alydyr - Inventory counts ALWAYS eventually get off, but only slightly. This is true for mom and pop stores as well as the chains. That's why stores perform annual inventories or contract with firms that specialize in performing inventories. Also, many of these store chains use just-in-time inventory systems to reduce carrying costs. Your argument is silly. You also seem to have a lack of knowledge of how the wholesale and retail businesses really operate.
Maybe you can understand this:
mom and pop store = low volume
Walmart = high volume
2 boxes per store = foot in the door
foot in the door = potential increase in shelf space for AAPT products
Spring Break??? Summer Break??? Apparently, you've never heard of temp agencies.
No skin in the game? Yeah, right. lol
Alydyr - Initially, at least 2 boxes were delivered to each of the 1000 Walmart stores (I checked the Walmart stores, you did not).
The computer system used by Wal-Mart to coordinate their business is second only to the Pentagon's in capacity. Furthermore, the store managers do not do the inventory record keeping, it is the computer system that does this. Each time a product is scanned at the register, the inventory is adjusted automatically, not manually.
Also, as the Walmart POs indicate specific quantities to be delivered at specific times, it is actually EASIER to plan and coordinate. It is not rocket science as you seem to think.
I know. I used to work in the snack food business doing sales, managing the warehouse, setting up promotional displays, helping with resets, meeting with buyers to get products approved, etc...
Simple: Increase production shortly prior to spring break and summer break, then stock the products in the warehouse. The bar I purchased has a "best before" date of 9/28/13, which I bought this month (Feb), so the shelf life of the bars are not a problem.
Summitgains, thanks for pointing that out. I was looking for All American Pet Brands.
What???...Attending the Global Pet Expo, but not exhibiting AAPT products??? I didn't see AAPT on the list of exhibitors. I hope Joel and Lisa are really going there to network and open doors to AAPT products and not just going there for a vaca.

Confirmed!!!! NutraBars on the shelf at Walmart Store #1988, 900 Pleasant Grove Blvd., Roseville, CA 95678. There are two Walmarts in Roseville. The smaller Walmart did not have any NutraBars on the shelf. The Walmart with the NutraBars is the superstore, which is very crowded all the time! I saw 1 box of original and 1 box of lowfat on an endcap. Both boxes were opened and looked like they were recently placed there as there was no price tag on the shelf yet. The box of original had 8 bars remaining, which I purchased. Price was very reasonable at $1.19 per bar. I was impressed with the packaging--very eye catching. AAPT is NOT a penny stock any more in my opinion. AAPT has a real product in the largest retail chain in the world.
I am way long AAPT. I would like to thank the dismissed AAPT controller whose shenanigans resulted in a perfectly timed share price drop and entry point into owning shares of this perfect business:
SIMPLE BUSINESS WITH A BORING NAME IN A DULL INDUSTRY: What can be more mundane than dog food? Makes me want to sleep. Being in a dull industry, AAPT is kept out of the spotlight while I quietly accumulate shares until the trend-followers buy in.
FIRST MOVER: AAPT is a first mover with its unique NutraBars.
IT’S GOT A NICHE: NutraBars are a unique, attractively-packaged product—a game changer in the dull dog food industry. This product can be promoted in ways that other dog food products cannot. No other competitor has a similar product.
BRAND NAME APPEAL: AAPT is building brand-name products. Companies that manufacture products with brand-name appeal have higher profit margins than commodity businesses. Also, retailers must supply brand-name products that consumers want, or risk losing profits.
PEOPLE HAVE TO KEEP BUYING IT: A consumer purchases a stainless steel dog dish once and never again. NutraBars and Pawtizer are used up quickly; therefore, the consumer must buy the products over and over...
INSTITUTIONS DON’T OWN IT AND ANALYSTS DON’T FOLLOW IT: More time for longs to accumulate. When shares hit $5.00 and are eventually listed on the NASDAQ or NYSE, institutional investors will propel the shares up, up, up...
MANAGEMENT: AAPT has solid, experienced management. They are innovative and persistent. They will take AAPT to the next level and beyond.
NutraBars...Game Changer
AAPT...First Mover
AAPT is on the launch pad and all systems are go.
